I left the Victor one in the summer because of the free students but also because I didn’t like the setup and the bikes were always broken. I rejoined because they redid the whole inside and moved things around in a way that makes more sense. I believe they have switched management as well. I wish for the summer they would limit the times for the free student memberships to midday only since that is the time it is the slowest and the kids are no longer in school.

Needs better lighting in the parking lot very dangerous for women to walk out to their cars at night when it's so dark!

Planet Fitness never disappoints whether I need a workout with machines that I do not own or a relaxing length massage with a chain, Planet Fitness offers it all.

The facility is a good size and they have enough equipment, but it's not kept up well. The walls look like they had stuff ripped off of them, they had no paper towel dispensers, the spray bottles were practically empty, the tvs were blurry, everything seems done without any effort or care.

The workers were nice, but just sat behind the counter. I didn't see anyone walking around cleaning, refilling the empty spray bottles, or anything like that.

The TV's weren't working, many pieces of equipment are broken, the bathroom is filthy so at this time it's not a very favorable gym!

Clean and good time of year to not be busy. Has all the equipment you would need. Great value for cost. I have the Black Card membership.

Sitting in front of Planet Fitness Fishers/Victor, NY. It is 8: 10 AM. It is supposed to be open at 7 AM but doors are locked. Lots of people woke up to workout and are disappointed.

I just did a quick phone call regarding alot of basic information about the gym, membership, and unit discription and it was actually quite detailed. Braden (hopefully I spelled it right) was working today until 4 he said and he gave me all the information I asked for with a professional attitude and tone. Overall, it was a welcoming tone and my ratings will update depending on my experiences later.

This place has nice staff always. There is one that shines better than all the rest. I noticed one of your assistants Leon Thompson has a particularly quick and cordial accomodative attitude. I am one of those who found his efficiency and politeness difficult to ignore.

Helpful associates. Clean space. Respectful customers of all ages, shapes and sizes - and lots of equipment with no waiting. Very convenient location. Highly recommend.

Smelly, dirty, high school locker room vibe. Thursday November 3rd 2022 approximately 1: 00 p.m. I frequently use this gym when I am in the area. I have frequented the Gates NY location, the Canandaigua NY location, and the Greece NY location. My home gym is Webster NY, which is absolutely amazing! The cleanest and neatest gym with the friendliest most attentive staff I have ever experienced in my 55 years. I have been a gym guy since I was 9 years old. I even had the blessing of going to the original Samson's gym on Lyell Avenue and seeing Danny Padilla, "The Giant Killer" in person!
Everytime I go to Victor location, same experience, paper towel pieces laying all over the floor, high school kids working out (hanging out) in their sock feet, equipment accessories laying everywhere except for on the accessory rack where they belong, and the staff always behind the counter which is usually only one or two people, never coming out from behind the counter to attend to the gym floor. Yesterday when the afternoon gentleman/employee came in (probably around 2-3 pmish), he came in wearing a ball cap backwards, with an insulated flannel on covering up his Planet Fitness t-shirt that he never took off. You could not tell if he was an employee or just some kid hanging out behind the counter. Which it wouldn't really matter either way because he spent the whole time sitting in a chair on his cell phone while the other young gentleman dressed nicely with a nice Planet Fitness Polo on stayed busy behind the counter appearing to be working. But again not coming from behind the counter to attend to the gym floor. The locker room itself is a whole nother issue! This locker room is by far one of the largest and fanciest I have ever seen in a gym, much nicer than most gym restrooms. Even nicer than I've seen in some very fancy hotels. The kicker is when you go to the part to use the facilities (shower, toilet and urnal area), the entire place is an absolute mess and just reeks of urine. I often will drive all the way back to Webster to work out just to avoid this type of disappointment that I've experienced in the Victor location over and over and over again.

Truly judgement free. Usually a bit crowded especially around 5-6 pm on a week night. Almost completely empty on Sunday around noon. Great equipment, staff, showers, tanning beds and massage chairs.

I really like this gym and the staff is always very friendly. Just curious why they’re closed on a Sunday. I understand they closed last weekend so the parking lot could be repaired/paved, but wondering why it’s closed during regular hours today. I don’t see anything posted anywhere.

ETA: The club opened at 10: 50 AM.

Apparently planet fitness no longer cares about their customers, like they use to, time to change gyms. All the Awesome things about planet fitness and why I originally became a member are all fading, for example I paid for a gym that's open 24/7 and I'm no longer getting the service I paid for.sometimes your open late sometimes your not. Consistency is important in all.

Clean place to work out very affordable my kids are allowed to workout as well so it gices them something to do after school in the off seaaon of sports. 25$ a month cant beat go join today!

I dont know what happened here but ive been a member since 2020 use to love coming here until now they have been closed when there supposed to be open multiple occasions within the last 2 months and the influx of new people are driving the long time members away this location is too small for the amount of people there are coming all of a sudden. I will be looking for alternative places to go the population bar in the app is way inacurate for the size of this location

The place was super nice, but I really want to thank planet fitness employee “Luke”. I had some issues with my account and he was able to take me through the whole process and really help me out! I can’t thank him enough!

The place is great except for the music, look at the audience, nobody is listening to this dance party nonsense. Put on a rock station and be done with it. Look at the crowd, come on now

Absolutely worst gym membership you can buy in the area. I spent months attempting to cancel my membership and was finally able to cancel it after numerous calls to corporate. Once you buy a membership, you HAVE to pay it every month without being able to cancel it for a year unless you want to pay another large fee. I did the math and spent over $388 over the coarse of the past year and went only 3-4 times. You can see when the last time you checked in was on the app, mine was the beginning of August. They don't give any refunds or anything, their customer support is absolutely horrendous. The only reason this company stays afloat is by trapping their customers into memberships that they are unable to cancel. Also, if you move out of the area like I did, you STILL have to go in person to give them your signature. You'd think during a "pandemic" they would have alternate options to do this.

All of this and I still haven't mentioned how unprofessional the staff and members are at the gym itself.

Save yourself some money and buy your own work out equipment.

I recently made a post about the showers being dirty but they did a really nice job cleaning them.very comfortable environment, easy to come workout and not worry about people staring at you.

I think the facility is really nice and the locker room is nice. Some of the machines are a little run down but like that's completely expected since it's used by so many people! However, I'm lowering my rating because there is just no attention to the mask mandate. I understand not wanting to wear a mask while working out, I don't want to either but I'd say probably 90% of the people are completely not wearing masks. And not just wearing them incorrectly, just straight up don't even have one. I would understand more if they were on a cardio machine and they were social distanced, I don't really mind that, but there really is just no regulation on it all. I wouldn't even be writing this but today I saw a trainer working with somebody who just wasn't wearing a mask and didn't say anything to her? And I don't expect the employees to run around body slamming everyone who's wearing their mask slightly incorrectly haha I understand they don't get paid enough for that, but some regulation would make it feel a lot safer.

Unfortunately one of the poorer quality planet fitness locations. Ellipticals are completely worn out and outdated much like the rest of their equipment. Poor mask enforcement and the layout is not well thought out. Hopefully this location gets a much needed update soon

The classic membership allows gym-goers an affordable monthly subscription for just 10$ a month. There are other membership plans offered that up the perks offered (free UV tanning, use of the water massage chair, bringing a guest) and members are offered the chance to sign up for classes or hire a personal trainer. PF offers a wide range of cardio equipment, machines for lifting (approx. 2 of each machine) for users to target specific muscle groups, and other machinery for the advanced gym rats that follow their own personalized workouts. Additionally, you can find people of all levels of fitness and ages at PF, making it a very inclusive community that prides itself on being a judgement-free zone. However, the staff has never been overly friendly or good at providing adequate customer service- but this can be overlooked. For the most part, the gym is kept pretty cleanly, but it’s COVID procedures and safety protocols are neither strictly enforced or followed. The majority of PF gym-goers, at any given hour, can be consistently found with their mask below their nose and chin. Despite this blatant disregard for the gym’s rules and its participants safety, PF employees allow members to do so and then don’t wipe down or sanitize the equipment until mid day or before close. There NEEDS to be stricter rules that are guaranteed to be enforced, or at least attempted to be enforced, to ensure the safety of its members. Overall however, the gym offers an affordable membership plan with gyms at many locations and that are bound to have at least one that’ll be conveniently located near you. While the staff is below-average in terms of customer service and enforcing safety rules & regulations, the vast availability of different exercise equipment and nonjudgmental atmosphere makes up for the downfalls.

The handicaped parking signs have been removed and put in the back corner, This is not the right thing to do with the handicaped parking signs. Despite what people think we want to get healthy and fit too. Equal Accessibility is a right not a privilege. Otherwise I actually really enjoy planet fitness!

Great place, clean environment. The staff is friendly and the facility is clean, I couldn't be happier with my membership.

Every planet fitness has a 30-minute room in which members are supposed to use each piece of equipment for 1 minute, clean it and move on so that everyone has equal access to the machines. But, There are members who go in and use a machine for a long time, which messes up the people using the room correctly. When I went to ask staff to correct this- put up a sign, talk to members, they said, “we can’t tell members to use the room correctly, it’s just a courtesy”. And, “you can move onto the next machine and get the same results”. Wow- why have the room then? Terrible customer service. Worst planet fitness in Rochester.

Most of the time I love my gym but this was my first time at this location and I had a few questions for the girl at the desk. Who spent the entire hour and a half I was there flirting with one of the members (would routinely walk away only long enough for a set and return to the desk to keep chatting.) Full sitting on the desk and pulling eachother on the cleaning cart.cart

Unprofessional. Desk girl wouldn't stop flirting with a member for so long I couldn't ask her any questions.
Otherwise I love planet fitness but a nice location won't make up for that kind of service

I was on vacation and wanted to workout so I went to this Planet Fitness. I'm from SC and use the one in Myrtle Beach which I love. I found this location in Victor and decided to go there. The young lady at the front desk is the general manager and she was friendly and very helpful. The facility was very clean, and had the usual assortment of equipment
I recommend this facility very highly.it's top notch and is run very professionally.

I've been going to this OF since it opened in 2011.2 things that land this place with 5 stars. Cleanliness and friendly staff. I've heard or read to the contrary about the staff not being so much. I've never had a problem. The place is usually well stocked with the important (paper towels, cleaning/sanitizer products) too.

Good clean facility. This was my first time here and it has been the biggest Planet Fitness I’ve been in. Lots of machines, and most important the bathroom and shower facilities are great. Definitely recommend this particular Planet Fitness

They double charged me twice. And charged me when I had my membership frozen due to surgery and still charged me. I will never join again a rip off

The gym was following all covid safety regulations. It was a pleasure to return to the gym after a full year away and feel safe!
