Luv working out at planet fitness. I have a lot of space and machines to get creative. Luv the massage chair/bed afterwards

I want to know why I just went to ask for the $10 offer and they told me that they didn't have it and they offered me the $15 offer and I see that here they offer the $10 offer

I'm pleased with WhitePlains Rd PF. It's convenient for me via public transportation and I'm able to utilize the equipment with no wait time. It appears their short staff and they just have a new trainer. I would recommend PF for those who are thinking about getting/staying in shape.

I'm just starting out trying to get back in shape. Friendly customer service. Clean and neat. No pressure atmosphere.

It’s good, it has a lot of equipment. Just could have more equipment and a normal bench press, and an actual incline on the treadmills.

This planet fitness is better compared to the others I've been to in the bronx area it's clean, not ghetto, good environment. No parking unless paid by meter like street parking, it should invest in having a sauna all that is missing!

I’ll probably change it when I get accurate and backed information about the water fountain maintenance and servicing. The present employee skimmed over specifics when I asked for a clear answer. Definitely led me to think the fountain hadn’t actually been serviced in a while. With summer 2023 at our doorstep, I want to be sure provided amenities are safe and functioning.

This is the worst planet fitness I’ve been to. The place smells very bad, service from the staff is a joke and for the most part it’s packed and dirty. Wouldn’t recommend this location

Update: the staff on site is already aware it’s usually understaffed

I get very nervous going to the gym but there’s usually not a lot of people at the times i go so I feel more comfortable and it’s super close to me so I feel more motivated to go.

Wonderful gym, have all the equipments that these more expensive gyms have. All you need is dedication to see results

People with headphones on and singing out loud
People taking free weights to other sections

Walked in to 2129 White Plains Rd.location today to join but walked out without joining because of a very disrespectful club manager Vince Butler. I had a Starbucks in my hand when I walked in to join, sat down at a table with chairs 10 feet from the entrance, 10 feet inside away from the front door. Vince butler came to the table frantically telling me that I couldn’t sit there and that he thought I might’ve ran off with his iPad that they give you to sign up with. All downhill from there back-and-forth bickering for nothing and very rude telling me that I can leave and that I was interrupting him while he was talking to other customers when he was clearly talking to me first. Horrible experience, avoid using him for assistance.

My only complaint concerns people sitting at machines looking at their phones. It's a gym. If you want to play with your phone, go somewhere and play. Sht or get off the bowl.

Staff is always friendly, it's always clean and everyone is there to do their workout and no one is bothering anyone. I had an issue with the payment not getting taken out on time awhile back and the manager helped me out with the problem and was very courteous. I have no issues.

Nice and Cool place for a Work-Out. Respectable and Decent Environment.
The Staff Members are Very Polite and Helpful. Highly Recommend

This place sucks, I signed up my son so he can get some leg work close to home. He's a multi sport athlete, track team, swim team and competes in Junior Triathlon National level. When we went through the gym there were some machines down and the ones he needed were not available or not working. Staff was cool but equipment could use an update. Disappointing, had to cancel his membership and find him another gym (Not Planet Fitness). Good luck with this place.

THIS IS A GREAT AREA. AT THIS PARTICULAR LOCATION THEY HAVE ABOUT 3 FLOORS I RECALL, 3RD FLOOR PUSH PIN WEIGHTS AND CABLES, LEGS TREAD MILLS.
GREAT SUNLIGHT, NO WAIT TIME FOR ANY MACHINES, THE CROWD WAS NOT TO BIG. I REALLY LIKE THIS GYM NO PARTICULAR STRETCH AREA, BUT THEY DO HAVE AN AREA TO STRETCH WHICH I WAS MOST HAPPY ABOUT, THE LOCKER ROOM MY GOOD SIR REUBEN WHO IS APART OF THE STAFF KEPT THAT BATHROOM CLEAN THE ENTIRE 4 HOURS I WAS THERE. NICE MARBLE FLOORS, GREAT LOOKING RELAXATION ROOM I REALLY LIKED IT I WOULD GO HERE AGAIN IF I AM EVER IN THE BRONX AGAIN TRAINING, THANK YOU SIR.

This gym is actually pretty nice, and the staff too. The part I can’t get around is the area it’s in. I only go during morning hours (like 10-11am), yet every time I leave there’s literally been a crime scene outside. Yesterday, 8 cops surrounding a black truck followed by EMT’s (was even on citizens) …. I don’t feel safe coming or going, to the point that I’ll take a 20 minute bus ride to the Pehlam Bay location so I don’t feel like I’ll be murdered on my way home.

It doesn't get to crowded and all the equipment are always clean and the hydro beds are smooth good wish I had one at home.

I am a current employee at planet fitness at this location and I had a terrible experience working for Vincent butler he is rude and unprofessional and overall just not a nice person and I would like to report his behavior.

The gym itself isn’t bad. There’s a decent amount of benches, smith machines, cables, etc. Only one set of dumbells per weight. The reason I’m giving it a two is bc the other patrons are the most annoying people ever. Multiple times have I had ppl complain bc I was “resting too much” when I only take 3-5 minute rest between sets. Had one lady tell me I was taking too long resting between sets on the leg press (even after I offered to let her hop in and we alternate) and I was pressing pretty heavy… did she want me to break my leg? Another man profusely rushed me even after I told him I only had one set left on the bench. Another time I had a man tell me I was doing “too many sets” on a cable and I was hogging up a cable (I did two whole different exercises on the same cable, there are 4 other cables he could’ve asked to use). I let anyone hop in on a machine, bench, or cable with me, all you got to do is ask. Even when I offer to let someone hop in they say no and still have the audacity to complain. Very frustrating.

I like the new renovation, but the spa area downstairs was unnecessary. I feel like there's no "Social Distancing" due to lack of space on the top floor. It's way too cramp now

I think this gym is alright, but recently you guys closed for whatever reason and never stated when you guys are opening back up because of renovation. Really wanted to go back to this gym since it’s my safe space: (

Before entertaining the idea of joining Planet Fitness, be aware they would withdraw their payment from your checking acct. Not a problem as long as when you cancel membership they actually do what you requested.
In my case they didn’t and I was stuck with actually following up with my bank to dispute.

I hope that they change and fix the problem because it’s wrong and the manager needs to get it together. Least put a fan on.

I gave it one star because they never put the “Fan on “ and They never put the “Ac” on either. They don’t have no windows open. They don’t have flowing air. They have people with no mask breathing in like that. That’s not good at all. Working out in the gym with no cooling air and only heat affects your body.
Exercising in heat puts extra stress on your body. If you don't take care when exercising in the heat, you risk serious illness. Both the exercise itself and the air temperature and humidity can increase your core body temperature. To help cool itself, your body sends more blood to circulate through your skin. This leaves less blood for your muscles, which in turn increases your heart rate. If the humidity also is high, your body faces added stress because sweat doesn't readily evaporate from your skin. That pushes your body temperature even higher.

They actually have old people attending to the gym as well and that’s not good for their health either.

Nice and clean. Wasn't packed I usually go at 10pm & after workout a good massage don't hurt great workout today. Front desk Employee was very polite and helpful. Recommended.

I recently started going to the gym again. I actually love this planetfitness it's very welcoming and super clean. Shout out the manager Vincent for always giving words of encouragement to keep coming.

This is a real good gym. Up to date equipment, very clean. Is handicap accessible. All the weights are put back where they belong.

The layout is a bit odd and it was a bit dirty (around 11pm) but tons of machines and a lot of space to not feel cramped.

Fully equipped gym right next to the train station. I can't say I have had any issues with this gym. It's your standard planet fitness. The gym essentially has three floors. The entrance floor, upstairs, with elliptical and weights, and downstairs with a variety of equipment and massage beds for black membership holders.

I usually dont come to This location but i definitely need to change that its much more spacious than the other location thats close by only problem is the equipment the weights are never where they supposed to be or no where to be found and that goes for a few other items with the exception of the machines obviously lol

For now.the facility is clean and inviting
The staff members are warm and friendly, i just to have to motivate my son to start going to the gym lol

Just started at this gym three days ago. So far so good. Not to busy and staff is very helpful.

Love this gym staff are respectful, helpful people are awesome everybody minds there business and just works out.

Clean gym, price is reasonable my membership turns out to be $188 a year for the contract with the fees. I look forward to using the personal trainer for session in the morning. The equipment is maintained to the best of my knowledge.

I would like to see a bench press machine that is used as a free weight rather than part of the smith machine.

Otherwise everything I need seems to be here.
