Placid Boat Rentals

This establishment is classless, inhumane, and an embarrassment to the great town of lake placid. Taking advantage of people in a time of sorrow is below, low level. Shame on you!

Zero stars should be an option for this company. They put on a clinic of how not to run a business. Absolutely tasteless interaction when we needed to cancel due to a death in the family. Buyer beware, take your business elsewhere.

It was a fantastic experience! We rented a boat for a bachelor party and Hunter, who was the only one running the entire rental place, was phenomenal in helping us get set up and showing us what to do or not.

My daughter and I rented kayaks this week. Steve and Hunter were very helpful and nice to deal with. They recommend routes for us. Gave us some pointers. Filled our water for us and the rental rate is great!

Great experience, we rented a pontoon boat for 3 hours. The pricing was competitive, the boat was very nicely maintained and clean. On time service and availability. The guy Hunter is amazing to deal with, always full of energy and always helping everyone get around with their requirements. It was amazing fun. Highly recommended.

Very nice experience. My family and I rented the large pontoon boat, it was clean and even had brand new seats and engine. Price was great and so was the customer service. Will be back for sure, thank you

We rented a Boston Whaler for 2 hours this afternoon on Lake Placid and had such a wonderful experience! We are somewhat beginner boaters but Hunter was a huge help. This was one of our best experiences here.

Phenomenal crew working at the dock, extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the lake. Nice boats and lenient. Would come back tomorrow
