Pershing Square

We arrived early at the train station for our train so we decided to look for a spot to grab a bite to eat. What a gem of a place. We had a wonderful meal and was able to sit and catch our breath after a long day of walking. It was perfect. The restaurant was dimly lit, very romantic and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this spot.

This place was located opposite our hotel in Grand Central Station. We had breakfast there on our 1st morning in town and wasn't disappointed. Very tasty and freshly cooked. Atmosphere was welcoming and staff very friendly. Slightly more pricey than some other cafes we visited but it didn't put us off going back again later in the week for Dinner which was delicious. The menu is quite limited but I had the steak which was cooked too perfection.

Completely worth the effort/wait to get a reservation. You want deliciousness and efficiency? Here's your place. You want to feel like a part of NYC? Here's your place. You're a human? Here's your place. (I'm sorry I don't have a photo to share. I was too busy loving every minute of it)

Really disappointed with this place. Our first day in NY we visited for breakfast before our visit to the summit. We both got eggs benedict and it was the worst eggs benedict I've ever had. Eggs were snotty, muffin was flat as a pancake, luke warm when it came out. The tea I ordered was watery.
Positives were staff were friendly and the food came quick, the decor in the restaurant is lovely too. But I wouldn't recommend this place unfortunately it was also quite expensive for poor quality food.

The Pershing Square is by far the most delicious and welcoming restaurant I have visited in the Manhattan area. My friends and I had been visiting Summit One Vanderbilt and wanted to find a place to eat, and Pershing Square was just around the corner for us! The nachos were to die for. We had to take some home with us.

Not very warm welcome. Small capacity Coke. Apple juice served in a glass and not in a bottle. Excessive price

The menu is basic and not very exciting. Went there for a quick lunch though so didn’t need a lot of choices. Food is overpriced but location is convenient. What made me furious is I asked for a refill on my iced tea, waiter brought it and charged an extra $5! He didn’t warn me there are charges for refills. Who the heck charges for refills on brewed iced tea? ! Never coming back here.
