They took exceptional care of my BMW, after unexpectedly having to get a new set of tires. Their customer service and communication was also good, I will come to them again with any of my other vehicles in the future
Google says pep boy lockport is open and a tech said a month ago that they were open on sunday's. Ive tried calling random times since they "opened" this morning no answer.
I took my car in because my tire pressure system was indicating low pressure. The service tech was able to find the problem and fixed my tire. It was completed quickly and I was on my way. I'm very pleased with the service I received. I will return if needed.
Poor manager attitude Bran don who worked on my car was very kind and polite te. Wil the manager went on and on about how Carvanna didn't pay for thr last repair yet and how they were paying enough for parts. Had to return the car and ended up paying out of pocket for their mistake
I cannot say enough great things about all of the guys here. We have brought our cars here for years, and we have always been very well taken care of! They never do anything that isn't needed, are honest, and fair priced. It is really great to have somewhere we can actually trust! That is a rare find these days!
They were out of inspection stickers so I had to go somewhere else and found out I had a broken tire rod. Pep Boys fixed my car in just a couple of hours and I was able to my car inspected before the other place closed at 1 pm. Pep Boys on South Transit Road came through again!
Excellent quick service. Had a new tire mounted and balanced to my precious new rims, staff did so without leaving any scuff or scrape behind. Highly recommended.
I used to really like Pepboys in S. Lockport, however, once it changed to new owners I lost all respect for them. I went in to give them a chance but they saw an ignorant woman who they thought they could take advantage of but they were wrong. At one time I did all the work on my cars, I recreationally quarter mile race so there was always something to fix. I am older and don't but I still diagnose my cars so I'm not scammed. That said, I needed new fuel lines and most garages charge around $400-$500 for what I needed done. I went to Pepboys first, I was told it would be a minimum of $900 to start.so I took it somewhere else and was charged $436. Another time I went in and the one guy from in the car bay came in showing oil he found covered in dust severely outdated that they decided, in front of us (the few customers there) to charge full price as new oil. (Fyi.most oil has a shelf life of 5 years and this was much older). This is no longer a place I trust.
They were great, very friendly and explained to me what was going on with my vehicle and kept me up to speed with the progress. Would highly recommend!
I had a low tire, on Thursday.the gentleman stop his work on another vehicle to assist me, I will be returning He put air in the tire, but said you may have a issue with the tire. Its low again I will go on Monday. HIGHLY-RATED!
My husband and I were each in need of a tire repair, but it’s the Saturday of Labor Day weekend and the shop is closed on Sunday. Despite being short staffed in Lockport, and 5 jobs leftover from the day before, Kyle pulled off a miracle and got us both on the road well before closing time and found us a discount!? We will definitely use this location again!
I needed my vehicle inspected before the end of the month. I also had a slow leak in my rear tire. I called and was given an appointment within a couple of days. When I arrived there was an open bay and they took my vehicle in immediately. Could use a bit more a/c in the waiting area but I wasn't there long. Nice friendly staff. I'll probably make this one of my go to garages. Overall a very positive experience as one would expect from Pep Boys.
Well I called for tires at one in the afternoon, yes they assured me they had them. Great, i called again at four, iam going out to Lockport, are you sure the tires are available. Yes definitely, I was assured the tires were available. Ok, I get there a man named Willie says no theyve been taken. What? Maybe someone stole them. Really? No law enforcement was called. The tires were stolen in one half hour? Not a really good place. Please go to Walmart, the place is dirty, no one knows anything, just not a good experience.
The sales price I got was great. Service was good. Did not to up sell me or get me to buy anything extra. The store manager even have me another discount. Definitely going back.
Rude customer service over the phone after waiting a few minutes just to get an answer, they don’t want want my business I won’t give it to em. Simple as that.
Great customer service from Kyle at the front desk, helped me fix problems I had previously as well as point out new ones so I could fix them without going to a mechanic for a check up. 10/10 mechanic experience, Kyle should be a manager or work at corporate!
They tried to get me to spend way more than I needed to on brakes for my vehicle. Told me I needed to replace my e brake as well. Which I didn't. I spent for parts only and had a friend put them on. Saved myself close to 600 bucks. Rear strut mount on passenger side is toast.not the strut. And only the ball joint on the front passenger side has to be replaced for inspection.not both. Great place for tires if you get the buy 3 get one free.anything else.not so much.
Thieving mechanics lied about parts replaced, lied about time needed for repairs, n were unable to do skilled work. Two top mechanics there lied about parts n returned my parts for money! This review should be a police report. Take a look at two false reviews up front. Exactly the opposite is true.
Third time I’ve been there and just scheduled another appointment with my other vehicle. Kyle is great! Keeps me informed, tells me what I need and gives me a price before completing all work. Very friendly and upbeat. My cars will always go here for tires, brakes, and oil changes!
We took our vehicle there for service yesterday. The tech / service writer told us that our front brakes needed replacing, and that there was only about 10% of the pad material remaining. The service writer took a picture of the top of the caliper with his phone, trying to tell me that the pads were paper thin, but, he pointed to the shims in the picture, stating that was the pad material. Little did he know that I am a former automotive service professional, plus, we were confused because when we had out last oil change at another shop, they told us that the brakes were not quite 50% worn and in good condition. A good shop would have removed the caliper from the rotor and taken me out to the car to show me the condition of the brakes, not just snapped a bad picture with a cell phone to demonstrate his selling point. So, after we left Pep Boys we stopped at another shop for a free estimate. The tech at the other shop removed the front caliper assemblies to look at the brakes, then showed us the pads and rotors. He also said that they were at about 50%, and DID NOT need replacing. Pep Boys was dishonest, and because of that we will never return to this location. To make matters worse, the price they quoted us, over $400 for front brake pads and rotors, is anywhere from $50 to $200 more than some other shops I called to get a quote for the same service (new front rotors and ceramic front pads plus labor). I find this practice of dishonesty that is so common in the auto repair business to be repulsive, and I am surprised that a Pep Boys store participates in this type of behavior. I used to work for Pep Boys a long time ago, and the company preached fairness, honesty, and integrity. I guess things have changed over the past twenty years.
Pat and his guys are great. They have gone above and beyond for me with every visit. They have become the only place I bring my vehicles to. Excellent service and always honest. Give the man a raise lol
I had to go here for a new alternator. They were cheaper than the competition, but that isn't to say it was cheap. At checkout they found me a coupon to shave off a whole $90! My car runs great and the service was better.
