This is about a 5 hour drive from our home and makes for the perfect family weekend get away! Friendly staff, great environments! The weather was less than ideal, yet their amazing staff were able to get as many lifts open as possible for people to ski. Would love to try their golf courses and family summer activities!

Placed time with the spa for the ladies in our group, they unbelievably Sent a message two hours before the time only saying there no show policy would cost and they were on a huge delay, horrible behavior on all staff really a shame

While we did have a great time with their Summer Adventure activities, I have to share this "wonderful" service story. Our room didn't have a shower curtain, so I called the front desk to get one. The guy was making it sound like I wasn't going to be able to get one and literally asked me, "Do you really need one? There is a bath mat and towels that you could wipe up the floor with. " Oh my! I really did just laugh at him. I then went down to the office to speak with him in person. He still made it sound like I wasn't going to be able to get one because he was the only one working and there were no housekeeping staff on duty. I told him that we were going swimming and that I expected to have a shower curtain when we returned. When we returned.we had a shower curtain! It really shouldn't have been that difficult to get a shower curtain!

Beautiful resort with a lot of activities even in summertime. The rooms are very nice and the beds a comfortable. The water pressure in the shower is very nice. The hotel is stunning.
The pool area is fun and one of the best I have ever seen. I was impressed that they had a life guard on staff. The hot tub was on of the most unique and lovely. There is a chairlift with beautiful views, and a lot of adventures to do like ziplines and ropes course.

The only thing I can complain about is the construction work directly outside my window but that is forgivable.
24 August 2023 22:20
We stay every year for Fall Fest for the atmosphere of the area not the inn. They say they are going to be pouring money into the place in the upcoming years by charge like they already have put the money in.
23 August 2023 6:57
Need a dance floor at the gazebo. What an awesome country weekend. Will see you next year.very pleased
16 August 2023 3:32
Spent the day with a summer combo pass. All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Great experience all around, would highly recommend! Steve and Kelly were top notch, thanks for a great time!

Really disappointed in my stay this time. Paid almost 400$ for a room for one night.paid 150 to tube and they turned us away at every restaurant here and said reservations only but it was literally empty in bistro 12. Everyone in NY had longer than hour waits had to drive to NE just to eat dinner. Only get two hours on the tubes per reservation and bec of having to drive further to eat dinner without noticed I’m cutting into my tube time after paying 150$ barely getting to do anything before slopes and pool closes at 10. Super irritating for the price you have to pay. They should notify on their website or when you get there to check in that if you want to dine in then you had to make reservations days in advance before booking. Ruined my whole mood before i could even have fun
06 February 2023 14:13
The hotel common areas like the lobby were beautiful. The pool and hot tub are also very nice. The bistro inside the inn was beautiful but very overpriced. The other restaurants were ok and very overpriced. I ordered a salad for dinner that was just iceberg lettuce with basic toppings (cucumbers and tomatoes) and it was $14.00. The slopes were great - the kids and us love skiing here.

The hotel room however was left to be desired for $399.00 a night we expected a lot more. Basic updates would go a long way here. The furniture was old and marked up. The walls had patched holes and the bathroom tub was stained. The ceilings remind me of asbestos style ceilings and are falling apart. The room had a weird air freshener smell on the bedding that gave me a headache.

The fireplace was really the only nice thing about the room.

We came twenty years ago and nothing has changed and I remember saying to myself I wouldn't stay here again. But we wanted to give it another try since it had been so long.

I wouldn't stay at the hotel again. I would definitely come back and ski for the day!

I booked a room at the Peek with my family for a quick overnight getaway to celebrate the end of summer. We have two little kids, ages 5 and 6 and this could not have been a more perfect choice! We were contemplating going to a waterpark but chose the Peek hoping it would be more relaxing than the chaos of a waterpark. We went at the end of August and had an absolutely wonderful time, I was so sad to leave! We were able to use the indoor and the outdoor pool and my kids had SUCH a blast. The first day we were there they were asleep by 7pm because they played so much and swam so much. The outdoor pool was SO much fun. There were a couple water features and a giant water slide that my kids went on at least 1,000 times. The pool was small enough and contained that I didn't have to worry about my kids getting lost. The lifeguards were incredible and even when it got busy on a Sunday afternoon, I never felt overwhelmed. There was an outdoor bar and grill that made the day THAT much better. They had floats and life vests for the kids if you needed them and anything else you could've possibly needed, they had. There was an indoor play area that had a playground as well as two giant courts the kids got to run in. There was an outdoor playground that they loved as well! The restaurant in the hotel had delicious wings and the cafe was the perfect place to get coffee in the morning. The only thing that was tricky was finding breakfast that my kids would eat as the options were very limited but since we were on "vacation" they got away with eating all the treats.

I had originally made a booking error through a third-party site where I booked the wrong night and had to make a million calls to that site to rectify it and sit on hold while they made phone calls. I ended up calling the Peek to see if they had any ideas and the entire staff was SO incredibly helpful in helping me get our reservation fixed so we didn't lose out on all of the money from the original erroneous booking. I was so grateful and so blown away by how incredible the entire staff at the Peek was from start to finish.

The room was perfect for us and any complaints I would have wouldn't be justified based on the affordability and convenience that the rest of the trip offered. I cannot wait to return and highly recommend choosing the Peek for a fun (and relaxing) family getaway.

I visited for some food. It was OK but very dated! This place is in desperate need of refurbishment and better management.
29 September 2021 9:23
This is a decent resort tucked away in a rural farm setting. There are fun outdoor activities like a pool & waterside, mini golf, ziplines, chairlifts, and rope courses to keep kids entertained. There isn't much to do when it's raining, just an indoor pool and "sports complex" (basketball court and a playground set for younger kids). There isn't anything entertainment wise near the resort except for Findley Lake (4 miles away) if you want to fish or boat. Erie is the closest large area at 30 minutes away.
The resort is outdated and the curtains in our room were shredded. The bathtub water ran brown from rust when first turned on. There are cobwebs in the corners of the windowsills throughout the resort. There are limited lounges at the outdoor pool, which fill up quickly. Thry also reserve lounges that sit empty for most of the day. There is nowhere to lay a beach towel, so if the lounges are full there is nowhere to sit or lay.
Overall, this resort can be a fun destination for a family vacation as long as the weather is nice and you're not expecting anything spectacular or luxurious.
28 September 2021 11:33
Nice place but,, I know it's old but doors in our room were sticking. Bathroom and balcony. No elevator. Although I'm no handicapped I had knee surgery and had to climb up a ton of stairs to go any where. For the price we paid for everything it should be a little more upgraded. I would go back though. Now t h at I know what to expect
22 September 2021 3:34
It's ok.rooms are really out of date has a weird smell when you come in. Spa is amazing, bistro breakfast is great. Pool area is fun to hang out in. No elevators to the rooms. And of course because of covid nobody cleans the room but still charge you for that service.they should take that charge out if nobody comes and cleans but it seems alot of the hotels are doing this not just peak n peak. Overall ok but I don't know if I would come back not a wow factor for me.
10 September 2021 3:42
Just stopped to look at my boyfriend's favorite place, pool and hot tub so overcrowded it looked like an amusement park. Truth be told.
06 September 2021 16:20
We needed a place for one night on our way back to Boston. We paid $137 for two queens and a pull out, which was great for us.

The resort was a very nice surprise. Very clean, wonderfully helpful and pleasant front desk help (Skylar).

We (two adults and kids) used the pools, the mini golf ($8/person), and even walked 2.5 miles on the old, unused golf course across the way. The pools were very clean, not too busy (admittedly, we were there Sunday-Monday), and well-staffed.

We opted to get pizza from a local general store rather than pay a premium on site.

We would definitely return.
30 August 2021 20:03
My appreciation Starts with the Lifeguard Crew they Helped my many Children into Life Jackets many times throughout our Stay it’s really the Little things. The Queen Loft was relaxing along with the Massage at the Spa. What is typically thought of as a Winter GetAway surly provided summer comfort.
28 August 2021 18:07
We stayed 2 nights there, first let me talk about our overall experience and if we are going back or not: yes we will and overall experience of us was great and we really enjoyed our time there. They are lots of activity that you can do, such as Zipline, Tree Adventure, Pool, Mini golf and more.
We did all and it was awesome, especially the tree Adventure.
The staff are super friendly and helpful. I like all of them.
One thing that I really don’t like it much, was food and restaurants. You don’t have a lot of options and you can make your decision between 2 or 3. And the other issue was they close the restaurant very soon! We went for dinner around 9: 30pm and they gave us late menu which didn’t have any good options.
Also, I wish they were offering breakfast on their room. It’s so hard to find options for breakfast.
But overall as I mentioned above, we enjoyed and it was worth it.
If you are looking for a fun weekend, this would be your option.
26 August 2021 20:01
Very good! Enjoyed 4 day stay! Skylar at the front desk was excellent as was Jayde in the restaurant! Enjoyed the surrounding area as well. Wine tasting in north east and Jamestown visit.
02 August 2021 11:16
Coming from someone who has a horrible fear of hights, the Zipline course was REALLY fun. I had a little panic attack but after I got through the first Zipline on the blue course (the last one we did) I was ok and did the second Zipline a bit easier. I got scared to do the thing that lowers you off of the platform for the end of the Zipline but after a minute I did it, even tho I was still scared. We ended the trip off with putt-putt but it started storming and we had to cut it short at only the 6th putt-putt mat.

30 July 2021 15:22
First trip to this area and very impressed. I was part of a small board retreat and we were lucky enough to stay at the resort. Super easy trip from Pittsburgh. The staff, Jamie, Ken, and Gloria specifically, were awesome and made the experience great. The resort has winter activities, plus an awesome pool complex, spa, adventure center and so much more. Looking forward to another trip up here again soon.
26 July 2021 15:21
Charming resort with tons of activities for the family or a couples getaway. Super friendly staff. Large and well appointed rooms with a fridge and microwave. Perfect weekend getaway from Pittsburgh. I stayed for an association meeting and can’t wait to come back with family and friends.
22 July 2021 16:32
Key didn’t work for room. No one at desk. No one answered phone! Children in bar until 2 am. I do not recommend. Place has gone downhill!
27 June 2021 21:17
Short drive from Pittsburgh!

I had an amazing board retreat this past weekend at Peek 'n Peak. The staff was absolutely amazing and all while being understaffed. It's apparent they really care about their jobs and the resort. I wish I would have brought my husband and kids with me! The pools look amazing - indoor and outdoor! I hope to come back very soon!
25 June 2021 13:22
Thank you so much for all of your help our wedding weekend! Our friends and families loved their stay. Everything went smoothly thanks to the staff at Peek'n Peak.
17 June 2021 23:49
The food was good and the hotels are really nice and the tubing was nice but i give it a 4 star because the tubing thing wasn't the fast going up thats the only reason why.
15 June 2021 8:15
We stayed at Peek'n Peak this weekend for a retreat and had the BEST experience. The entire staff was so friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. We had several meals while on-site, and everything was incredible! The team had just rolled out a new dinner menu, and we were lucky enough to try it. Fantastic!

It's lovely to get out skiing but this place runs not well organized, well labeled and signed, nor well maintained.
I was skiing with a new skier, took a green trail and found us both sliding down an icy hill of danger. It's expensive to ski here. The signs should be clear and certainly updated for dangerous conditions. The staff is very young, the lines are long. Finding a restroom in skiboots was awful. There are a ton of buildings and with some clearer signs and better communication this place could be decent. Beware! Stick to small bunny slopes, also not well marked. Ask lot of questions, like where should I ski for my level, because no one is going to tell you. I would not recommend this place for new and unskilled skiers.
06 May 2021 20:47
I took 2 pair of new skis to their ski shop to get bindings mounted. They were able to mount the skis that already had rails but I was told by the person working there that they couldn't attach the rails to the other pair because "the guy who used to do those quit last year" and "our equipment is too out of date to do that. " It's a ski shop at a ski resort for heaven's sake! Wouldn't you hire someone new to replace the man who quit and wouldn't you keep your equipment updated so you could actually perform the services a ski shop should offer? We were told we could go into Findley Lake to the hardware store to get it done and they couldn't do it either but that's beside the point. Overall, it was an awful experience. I would go ve 0 stars if I could but instead gave 2 stars because the guy at the ski shop was trying his best but the resort clearly set him up to fail.

Horrible. Didn’t even make it to the door. 6: 30 at night, my family arrives with no where to go. Our condo is not ready, the clerk said they have no idea when it will be ready. There was a waiting room full of guests waiting over 2 hours for their room/condo. The manager was too busy delivering flowers to talk to anyone. My husband demanded a free night or refund. They gave us a refund.

Also.on the way here I called at 3pm to ask about pool hours. No one said a word about our condo not going to be ready. But did continue to tell me that there was a reservation list and it was full for tonight and tomorrow. They have to have a reservation list to only allow 50 people in.that’s not the issue. The problems is with them allowing visitors to sign up for multiple hours throughout the day. Same family can go for multiple hours! How is that even remotely a good idea to please the number of guests you have. Just poorly run and mismanaged.

I would rate them a 0/5 if it were an option. Back in February, I scheduled a couples massage for March 20 for my fiancé and myself to celebrate our two year anniversary and our approaching wedding. At the time of scheduling, nobody had informed me that due to Covid-19 they were not doing couples massages in the same room. We arrived and I was taken to a room where I’d have been receiving a massage in a separate room than my fiancé. Romantic right? I went back out to the waiting area to talk to my fiancé and the receptionist rudely interrupted us to state that she told me that on the phone. I told her I wouldn’t have booked an appointment and drove 45 minutes to spend an afternoon away from him as an anniversary gift. Upon requesting to cancel, she stated we would still have to pay half. Despite what she called a misunderstanding and what was truly just not us being informed of the current situation, my fiancé gave her his card to pay. She said to forget it and she would not charge us. Later this evening, I look at my account and I have been charged a total of $95.00. That is more than the price of one massage! She used the card on file that I secured my appointment with and still charged me without my consent after stating she would not charge us! I filed a dispute with my bank and will be pursuing this further. Also, if they are so worried about Covid-19, their employees should wear masks. Not a single person in the place had a mask on!
25 April 2021 8:00
Wonderful outdoor recreation destination. Great spring skiing conditions. Unfortunate to see staff at chair #2 and #8 not wearing any face covering and trash under chair lifts and tree line. Sad
24 April 2021 18:12
I have been considering a trip here & I am glad I looked at the reviews. It appears the reviews are getting a quicker reaponse than the service and wait times people are experiencing while there. I definitely will not waste my money to come experience poor customer service and excessively long waits. Why are you scheduling everything if 2 hours past scheduled times people are still waiting?
16 April 2021 2:29
Pknpk has always been one of my favorite places to go great variety in terrain so there is something for all skill levels. I've always felt the snow is well maintained. The Sugar Shack will always be my favorite place to stop for food and drinks. If you're looking for something adventurous in the summer the ropes course is a must!
15 April 2021 6:50
Horrible experience will never come back stole my money! Super scandalous hotel refused to change my reservation after hotels.com made date mistake and these ppl wouldn't help at all! Me nor my family will be coming back much better experience at HOLIDAY VALLY!
11 April 2021 14:48
Drove 2 hours to go to lunar lights tubing.
Showed up around 9pm and was told we would not make it to the front of the line to buy tickets by the time they closed the ticket booth, while the tubing went til 1am. The line was huge and place was way too overcrowded. What a huge waste of time and disappointment! They need to figure out a better system. If they have to limit capacity, make people buy tickets online with a show up time with time slots. Once things are sold out, people will know to not bother before they drive hours and hours to not even get to enjoy the experience. Do better Peak n Peek.
09 April 2021 2:39
Edit - forgot to mention the previous occupants left dirty clothes (socks and a wash cloth) as well as pocket change in the master bedroom. Pretty disgusting!
07 April 2021 10:17
We enjoyed skiing at Peek N Peak. The staff was helpful and processes to get in as efficient as possible. The slopes were great for beginner and intermediate skiers
06 April 2021 20:24
In the same amount of time it takes for you to actually get to go tubing you could, Build an igloo, climb Mount Everest, solve world hunger, travel to Sydney Australia for 3 months.and maybe by the time you get back be somewhere near the end of the line?
29 March 2021 17:46
We drove 90 minutes to get to Peek n Peak for a Thursday evening of lunar tubing. We never got to tube! We stood in line for 2 hours, cold and disappointed. My husband attempted to call to set up a reservation many days prior, but it went directly to voicemail.
We got to Peak & Peak at 4: 45 & at 5 pm we stood in a line without social distancing, despite the constant PA announcements to socially distance, and without any guidance from management. (We wore our masks). As the line inched forward, a man in a cowboy hat started collecting people and moving them to a separate line. These were hotel guests, who had preference (again we were not notified that this MAY HAPPEN on the website).
At approximately 6: 45 we neared the ticket both (maybe 20 people out) and a worker came out to answer questions from the group of us nearest the booth. She explained that it was true the 60-80 people currently in the "special line" got preference, and that they sell 26 tickets every 15 minutes. She also shared that the back of the line was told they may not even get on, and that she hoped they would sell tickets to us by 7: 15. (we were only 20 people out so I am positive that the rest of the line didn’t get in!) She offered to advocate for us to get tickets, but was not successful. We were also told it shuts down at 9 pm regardless and that weekends were much worse. She told us they don't do online reservations due to the high volume they have. No sh*t! TOTALLY unorganized.
We contemplated waiting another cold 25 minutes, until we saw a group go to the man in the cowboy hat selling tickets out of the back of the ticket booth to a group (without masks and having a beer).
We decided to leave at 7pm. The 2 hours we spent in line was spent chatting with 10 other unhappy customers about how poorly things were done.
…………………………The DOH should pay a visit…………………
Last night we went to Holiday Valley….
1- They take reservations online for 2 hour slots to allow MORE people to enjoy the fun.
Does Peak & Peak…. NOOOO!
2- All employees had masks on and several of them were heard ‘reminding sledders’ to put their masks on. Did Peak & Peak…. NOOOO!
3- There were several employees throughout our 2.5 hour visit that were friendly and helpful. They were everywhere & visible….
Does Peak & Peak…. NOOOO!
4- There was an employee at the bottom of the ‘magic carpet’ telling you when you could step onto the carpet to allow for social distancing.
Does Peak & Peak…. NOOOO! We were in line like sardines!
5- Ticket lines were so fast at Holiday! Less than 5-6 people in front of us and maybe 10 behind us.
Were Peak & Peak lines fast? Nooooo…. We were in line for 2 hours and still never got to sled!
6- Everything was methodical and organized at Holiday……
But… NOT at Peak & Peak!
7- Safety… Hmmm. The 2 hours that we were there they started out with maybe 12 lanes on sledding. By the time we left there were only 7-8 because they deemed the other lanes unsafe due to icing (Warmer days melted the snow & when it cooled at night turned to ice.) Very safe & contentious for their customers….
Did they do this at Peak & Peak? WE DON’T KNOW BECAUSE WE STOOD IN LINE FOR 2 HOURS AND NEVER GOT TO SLED!
8- Will we ever go back to Peak & Peak…? NOPE! The ONLY thing they had that Holiday did not were the fun lights…. But hey, we’re not even sure if they are fun because WE WAITED IN LINE FOR TWO HOURS!
29 March 2021 12:45
It was the first time my boys ever went skiing. They got lessons and Jeff was top notch and had the kids skiing on their own by the time the lessons were done.
27 March 2021 17:21
Receptionist at serenity spa said she was not going to charge for the cancellation fee even though I gave her a different card tha. The one on file to put the payment on. Without my consent she then went ahead and used my card on file for the cancellation fee after I had left. Will definitely be calling the bank and pressing charges. Thank you for the horrible service!
23 March 2021 18:52
So far horrible, check in was at 4pm still haven't gotten a room 20 people here waiting with me. Problem is that everything is on a schedule. Pool, food, tubing, skiing but when you can't get your room can't do anything. Paid a lot of money for this trip better get better soon. After the first day debacle everything went well tubing, skiing, and the pool. Front desk manager helped us out about first day. As for the Inn itself rooms are great, food OK skiing is awesome family loved it.
16 March 2021 22:20
Great experience during our stay. Dining was great and we feel precautions were taken for safety. Skiing was great and staff at all stations was very pleasant. Only recommendation I would have would be to control the tubing hill better. Wr felt it was chaotic and a little unsafe at times

Stay is fine, but it is impossible to contact this hotel to make changes to reservations or cancel. I have left several messages when prompted to. They say they will call back but they will not.
