I did not use this business and would not because Renaldo was so rude. In an emergency with my 8 year old daughter, we asked to quickly use the restroom (when one person was finishing up a coloring no other customers were in the salon). The three girls working at the front were gracious and let us in but he refused saying it's for customers only which I completely understand however in the situation we were in I'd like to think he'd give us a bit of grace. I prefer to give my money to people with experience, wisdom and better character.

My experience at Paris salon was amazing. I came in very nervous not knowing what i wanted my hair to look like at the end. Rolando made me feel comfortable & at peace in his salon. Best haircut I've had in years.
If you're a woman who has been getting your hair done for any length of time, you can spot the difference as soon as your butt hits that chair between someone who is extremely experienced, and someone who is not. My previous salon in St. James was all about the look of the studio and the products they pushed, rather than focusing on the quality of the services. My mom, who recently went to Paris and was extremely pleased wit her cut and color, told me to go see Rolando for my next trim. He cut my hair and had me out the door in less than an hour with ease and professionalism. The other salon took double the time, and cut my hair unevenly. The cut was fresh and sleek, the blowout was quick and perfect. Such a friendly staff and warm environment. Thank you Rolando, I will be coming back, maybe for some balayage!

My first few trips to the salon were great.a great experience, very friendly people and the quality of the services that I had done were great. But this was during the pandemic when fewer people were coming to the salon, so it was easier for them to give me full attention and provide great service. My last two visits were very different. I will refrain from using any names, but the person who I had an appointment with was late, kept me sitting there for 30 minutes before even showing up, then had multiple clients at the same time, moving between them and not giving any one of us the dedicated service that one should expect at the prices being paid. Given the amount of money that I've spent there in the past year or so, I am very disappointed in the service. I did not get what I paid for, especially at my last visit. I will not go back, and would not recommend this salon. Unless you're one of their favorite customers, you are treated like you're on an assembly line.

Rolando and his staff are very professional. I have been getting keratin Treatments there and every time Class Act Service. I would highly recommend the salon to anyone.

I was referred to Paris salon by a friend of mine and I was pleasantly surprised. Rolando and his staff are fantastic the salon is impeccable. They even have a cute boutique to do shopping while my hair is processing. I left my hair in the hands of Rolando because I needed a makeover after the pandemic. He did not disappoint with the balayage and single process which came out straight from a magazine cover! I would highly recommend Paris Salon to anyone who is looking for a beautiful experience.

Renaldo came very highly recommended. First I had to wait 1/2 hour while he finished up with the person before me and then started taking selfies with some vendors mixing drinks. I showed him a photo of what I wanted and told him what I wanted. I also told him that my hair grows into a point in the back and to leave that alone. It's natural and I liked it. He did what he wanted with no regard for what I asked for. He also tried to cut off the point which made the back of my hair way to short. It's been almost two months and I'm still waiting for everything to grow back in. While the cut may have been good for someone else, it was not all what I wanted and I will never go back again. Also the shampoo girl tried to talk me into a Brazilian Blow Out. I couldn't get enough of my hair around the brush to do a regular blow out let alone a Brazilian one.

I have been going to Paris Salon for over 8 years. Rolando is an excellent stylist! The staff is professional and courteous. The shop is well maintained, very clean, warm and inviting. I like to change my look from time to time. Rolando listens to what I want and makes it happen. I always leave the salon feeling like a million bucks but not spending it!

After years of going to the wrong salon I found THE BEST. This salon has a master stylist which is very hard to find on long Island. Rolando is amazing with color, everything! I had highlights and lowlights done to my hair. He is a genius in cutting and styling. I now have beautiful hair extensions that are just amazing. I went the 1st visit to get my hair colored, highlights, lowlights and glaze and to prep for the extensions. I have to add the the gentleman that washes your hair gives you the most amazing cranial massage! The next week I went back for my extensions and It was again amazing. The staff are all wonderful! This salon works as a team, Rolando who owns this Is not only making sure everyone is perfect, his staff is to. I am so happy to find this wonderful NYC scale salon in Saint James. I can promise you you will love everything from the top of the line products used, to the cleanliness, ambiance, and of course the people who work here. Outstanding is not even enough to say how wonderful this place is. I found a diamond of a place, lucky me, I came in with almost to the shoulder dirty blonde hair with dark roots, look now!

I found this place going for a massage, It was in the back of his shop. First I wanted extensions that would last for 4- 6 months. Rolondo showed me hair that was soft and new to the salon also. As every woman I was sold on it. After getting my hair colored (this I say Is there really strong point) and prepared for the extension's to be placed 1 week later. The first time went great.problems started soon after. After about 3 weeks the hair started shedding, after I paid $1.200 just for the hair, that's not including the extensions put in plus the wash and blow out. This second trip was about$600 If I remember correctly, It was alot. I had asked him if he had other people had this problem and he said 1 other person yes and He would call the company. After charging a straight $ 475.00 for every move up (all places I now know charge by the hour $ 175.00. Rolondo decided that I would maybe want a diffrent hair for the tape-in. Another $ 1.200 and he ordered the new hair. I was spending $ on items that he JUST DID AND WAS CHARGED. When I spoke to him about the move up on the extensions he got mad and had another person do It which was not certified at that time. I'm sure after the mess on my head she went, learned and hopefully got better it couldnt get worse. When he had her do it the tape ins are SUPPOSED TO BE IN A LINE IN ROWS. MINE WERE ALL OVER THE PLACE AND HAIR WAS STUCK TO OTHER HAIR. SO I HAD HAIR PULLING AND IT LOOKED HORRIBLE. I had also asked about the first tape in hair that shed and looked so bad, his response was " when
I hear from them you will". Well I never did hear from him, it's all about $$$$. My pic is on the page if you look at the blonde pic the curls you can see through And. I was charge $40 to get my bangs cut. The first time I went between the color and the hair it was $2.500 dollars. The woman who put the tabs in every which BTY had no clue. Rolondo after making so much $$$ off of me didnt want to remove them because I didnt want to pay $ 475 every 4 weeks so he had her do it and it was painfull and horrible. 1 time I had an 11: 00 appt and the tabs were taken out and I was left to sit for 4 hrs before they were put back in and then put in wrong. I know this sounds all over the place but it came down to All I wanted was long hair not a person who only cared about money$$$
So as for COLOR they are great BUT FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO GET EXTENSIONS PUT IN. THERE IS A GREAT NO DAMAGE HAIR EXTENSION CALLED HIDDEN CROWN. LOOK THEM UP ON GOOGLE THEY ARE GREAT WITH COLOR MATCHING, ALL HUMAN HAIR AND THERE PRICE IS AN 1/8 OF WHAT YOU PAY. THEY LAST and can be styled, colored. Google hidden crown hair extensions. As for paris salon stick to cut and color. I must add that the was HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL IF YOU WERE NOT FOR TRUMP.

Heaven in St James! Rolando and his staff at Paris Salon are nothing short of amazing, delightful, professional, trustworthy and fun. I am a fussy client, having gone to the most opulent and prestigious salons in Manhattan, my bar is very high. Not only do I want my hair stylist to be on point with his talent coloring and styling hair, I believe going to a salon should be an experience. When you walk into Paris you are instantly home and a warm sensation follows as you sink into the lovely seating in the entry. Paris salon has a sweet and intimate feel, almost as if you are royalty being pampered at your every move. Rolando is the most delightful, charming and handsome stylist you will ever experience. He is sweet but honest and will only suggest the best style and color that will leave you feeling like a million dollars. He trained in Manhattan for years leaving him with only the best training and truly understanding how to deliver a sensational experience at the salon. Rolando is a master at his craft! I have never left feeling anything but beautiful! Customer service, professionalism and cleanliness is beyond compare!

While there are a many salons on the north fork that I have visited over the past few decades, very few have managed to provide a professional service much less manage to take my lofty "hair plan" through to fruition. No one has ever handled my "finicky" artist sensibilities with such grace and style like Paris Salon in St. James. The standard for service and customer satisfaction must be seen to be believed! I am fully prepared to go 45 minutes west in afternoon traffic just for a wash and blowout as it is like a mini-spa day in and of itself. I found Rolando and his wonderful team after an in depth search using key words like "best salon on Eastern Long Island" and then reading from as many varied sources as I could find. My hair was fried and refused to grow beyond shoulder length. No amount of product and styling could tame it. In my search for healthy, highlighted hair at a lusciously long length I had many a 'brush' with over processing and toxic products. Not a worry at Paris Salon! These engaging and warm creative professionals gave me golden brown locks so long and soft my husband won't stop running his fingers through them. When I showed up for an appointment late and after only being a client for a very short time, they could instantly tell, somehow, that my mood was not "sunny" and offered me a discount on one of the best facials I have ever received, scheduling my hair services in to accommodate the last minute appointment with his esthetician. By the time they were through I was a whole person again. This is the high quality care and service received every time I have visited this precious little gem of the island over the past few years and i am grateful. And, renewed.

I decided to go get my hair dyed here earlier in the month; since my friend has been going here. She loves it but my experience wasn’t the best. I got my hair darkened and when I was asked if I wanted red under tones I immediately said no.but as time went on i’ve noticed red has been coming through. Which was strange since I came in with naturally brown hair with blonde undertones. Now i’m left with hair that I didn’t ask for. I didn’t not pay $150 to get something that I did not want.
