If you are getting married, please RUN to Pantora! This boutique was the only place I went to try on dresses at because I just knew they had my perfect dress. The stylist, Debra was a true expert & hit all of my wants on point! I recommend Everybody here because their dresses are truly amazing. Don’t look anywhere else, go to Pantora & ask for Debra!

When you think about your wedding pantora bridal is the place to get you gown. The staff are very nice and professionally. I really love my dress every single details that I wanted to customize the we're attentive and make it happen. Ps: the bridesmaids dresses come from pantora also. Thank you so much

Very Professional and Timely. I, along with 5 other girls purchased our bridesmaid dresses during the Pantora Maid event (circa 2022) and it arrived ahead of time. The dresses had a great fit.

Blacked owned businesses, many many options to choose from. Great customer service, very patient and helpful. I think me & my guest had champagne. I would recommend future brides to definitely shop here chance are you will find your dream dress! Thank u so much ladies

I can only give a four star review due to the rude manor in which we were treated by Jennifer. This bridal boutique has a strict four person policy in the boutique at a time which we were not aware of. This is a huge inconvenience when you have a large bridal party, especially when there is a fee to book each fitting. When we arrived for our 11am appointment, we were greeted coldly as we were number 5 and 6 of the bridal party. We were separated from the other 3 bridesmaids and the bride and asked to sit on the farthest sofa by the door as our bridal party sat on the sofa that was the farthest away. We were not allowed to try on any dresses and instead were asked to return with the Bride at her 1pm fitting. Being that it was 12: 17 when the Bridesmaids fitting was over, we thought we could just stay and wait until 1pm, NOPE, we were asked to leave and come back at 1pm.

With no where to go, since we are not from Brooklyn, we congregated outside of the bridal shop talking for 45 minutes. We then returned at 1pm, but were told that only 4 people may enter for the the Brides fitting. Keep in mind that we paid an additional $200 fee for a Private room for the Brides dress fitting, yet our party of 6 was still not accommodated, however after pulling Debra to the side, and explaining our position, she was able to accommodate a fifth bridesmaid. So in order to comply, we had to keep alternating a bridesmaid every so often so we all could experience this moment with the Bride.needless to say the magic of this moment was stripped away, but nonetheless, we tried to remain positive as to not upset the Bride. If it were me, I prefer to let my money speak for me and I would have abruptly left.

Thanks to Debra, after many hours, our Bride finally said yes to the dress. Debra was AMAZING! Very patient, creative, warm and accommodating.

So to all of the future Brides considering Pantora Bridal, please be mindful of this ridiculous policy, so that your magical moments are not tainted as ours was.

SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE. This shop is a scam. Google does not permit 0 stars so I've selected 1. I ignored the reviews when I chose Pantora and it was the most costly mistake I've made in planning this wedding. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE.

I am a 2022 bride who was eager to support a black owned dressmaker as I searched for the perfect wedding gown in 2021. I had a fitting at Pantora in October 2021. I tried on several gowns and ultimately selected one that would need a few minor design changes.

I was told that the gown would be ready around June 15th - that date came and went with out any communication from the dress shop. By July 15th I began calling the shop weekly to get a better understanding of when I could anticipate the dress coming in. The shop consultants and store manager continued to reassure me that I had time but did not give me any estimate or update on when I could anticipate scheduling my first fitting.

Eventually I called the shop in LATE AUGUST (having never heard from anyone) and surprisingly the shop consultant said "Your dress is in - you just need to pay your balance to schedule a fitting". I was shocked since I had been calling weekly and sharing my concerns as an out of state bride. I asked if I could see an image of the dress and this is where the first RED FLAG came up. The Pantora Bridal shop workers were adamant that I could not see any image of my dress until the balance was paid. They reiterated that it is written into the contract that way. (Eventually I learned why they write it into the contract - it is a critical part of their Made in China dress scam).

Despite my terrible gut feeling, I paid the balance and proceeded to book my first fitting. Having blown through the estimated June 15th dress completion, Pantora left me with very few options as we got closer to my October wedding date.

The dress fitting was a disaster. When I first saw the dress hanging on the rack, it struck me that it looked incomplete. There were threads sticking out down all the seams there was a stain on the front and ball point pen markings on the inside. The worst part was the back of the dress was supposed to have beautiful crepe buttons down the back and I was SHOCKED to see they replaced the buttons with a white (dollar store) zipper. I had paid $4,000+ for a dress that looked like it was fast fashion from an IG boutique. The shop workers also could not fathom why I was irate at the TERRIBLE QUALITY of he $4,000+ dress.

My wedding is coming up in 10 days and I had to scramble to have a second dress made (for several more thousands of dollars). Once I am married, I will be sure to post images of the disgraced dress they sold me. I will share a side by side comparison of the gown I tried on in the showroom vs the 'Made In China' dress I got for $4,000.

I knew in my heart that I wanted my wedding gown to be from a black designer. After discovering Andrea Pitter from Making the Cut, I knew this was it. I had an incredible experience with Jennifer who truly help me find the gown of my dreams. In fact, it was the last dress I tried on that became “The One”. I felt and looked so beautiful that day and very grateful for Pantora Bridal. Thank you so much!

I came to NY determined to find the perfect dress and I did! I’d discovered Pantora’s Bridal by watching Project Runway and was in awe of the amazing designer’s work. From my first appointment to my final fitting, my experience was incredible! Although I booked an appointment at another boutique, I knew the moment I tried on the dress, it was the one. My bridal consultant selected the dress and she was so right to choose this one! My dress was everything and made me feel that it was created just for me! I could not have wished or prayed for a better bridal experience or gown! I’d highly recommend any new bride hoping to find the perfect dress! Pantora is a whole vibe!

Pantora is the one! I started following Pantora maids online and my girls and I booked an appointment- What a lovely experience! We walked into the suite and the team was amazing from the start. They were patient with us and listened to what we were looking for. It worked out perfectly!

10/10 I really would not recommend. My experience was horrific and I hated my dress that I unfortunately had to wear on my wedding day because I didn’t have another option. Now I also hate the pictures:) Bre (the manager) was nice and tried to damage control, but she can only control so much. Feel like I got robbed of money and time.

I am a bride currently living in the city of Atlanta. When I say I was feeling so defeated and overwhelmed from trying on so many dresses it was crazy. I saw Pandora’s wedding gowns online and it was love at first sight! I love the fact that there is a wide variety of styles and they were even able to match the mesh underneath the dress to my melanated skin tone. The greatest part about this whole process was, o was able to shop for my dress online and purchase it online. It only took about 2 days for my dress to ship. All I need to do now is have the dress altered to my taste. I highly recommend this place for any bride wanting to look stunning on their big day! Debra K did a really great job helping me stay abreast on the store inventory and ensuring that I had options to choose from that I liked. I am so grateful, happy, and appreciative!

I ordered two bridesmaid dresses from Pantora and I was very pleased with their responsiveness. Both dresses fit me like a glove and were beautifully made. I would highly recommend Pantora for your bridal needs!

**Update**: Updating my star rating to reflect the fact that we received my mothers dress in the wrong size and color.

While I do admit that Pantora Bridal sells very pretty bridesmaids dresses, our experience with them has been a bit bumpy from the start. To begin, I placed an order for 7 bridesmaids dresses during their Pantora Maids sale. Their customer service was responsive in the beginning, but after purchasing the dresses, I noticed their responsiveness and quality of reply was not the same.

I think it's worth noting that after you purchase your Pantora Maids dresses, there is absolutely **no** communication afterward on whether your dress is processing, whether it's in transit, or if there are any delays. While I do understand that there are multiple factors that can affect processing & shipping times, I think the bare minimum would be to have some kind of status tracker people can follow to see where their order is at to minimize confusion.

They only provide you with a general time frame as to when your dresses will ship (16-24 weeks I believe), and nothing else. With less than 9 weeks to my wedding, I had no idea what was going on with the dresses. Myself, my bridesmaid, and my mother had to reach out several times via phone, email, and Instagram to finally have someone look into things — just wanted to know if the dresses were still processing or if they were ready to be shipped.

Via email I was told the dresses were undergoing inspection and they didn't know when they'd be shipped to be, but via Instagram I was told that the dresses were actually in transit. So that was confusing to digest until I finally received tracking on my order.

I honestly believe had we not flooded them with messages, these dresses would still be in limbo and we would have no idea what was going on. I credit us reaching out so much to the fact that the dresses did finally get here at a reasonable tine.

Additionally, my mother also ordered a dress from here and initially received no confirmation email for her order — it took several months to get that information. Still, her dress has not arrived even though she was told someone would be in touch with her directly about her dress. I am hoping it arrives at the end of the month, before my wedding and I still have to reach out again to ask if there are any updates.

While this experience may not have been as bad as others who have recently written in, I would recommend thinking twice about ordering from here. If you value good customer service and timely replies (as well as faster shipping), I'd recommend shopping elsewhere. I wish I considered other places as these past few weeks were stressful trying to figure out what to do in the event that the dresses simply didn't arrive on time.

Horrible. The dresses might be decent but I wouldn’t know because they never shipped it to me. Yet only gave me a 30% refund for something I never received. To make the matter worse they don’t even make the dresses themselves. It gets shipped to them from over seas.
The few that got the heir dresses had problems with it right from the start. $300+ dress and the zipper doesn’t even work.
Poor customer service.
Horrible communication from the company altogether.

When it came to saying I do, I knew saying yes to the dress would of course take place at Pantora Bridal. From beginning to end, the level of professionalism, expertise and all out glam was exceptional. Not only was I a Pantora bride, my bridesmaids were in Pantora as well. Best choice and experience ever.

Pantora Bridal has the best customer service bar none. I knew that I wanted to support as many Black-owned businesses for our wedding as possible and when I discovered Pantora, it was a non-negotiable. I said yes to the dress on their bridal tour while in San Francisco. Loved them so much, a few months later I traveled to NYC to say yes to my reception dress. Loved them even more that they did my bridal party as well. I worked with Bri the entire journey and she is AMAZING. Six days before the wedding I discovered a hole in one of my dresses (that likely happened in transit). I overnighted my dress to NYC from San Francisco, the Pantora team fixed the dress and it was waiting for me at the venue the day before the wedding! Talk about impeccable service. The dresses are made for the curvy and melanated bride. I hands down recommend Pantora and would surly use them again, for a vow renewal of course. Thank you Bri and the entire team for giving me the dresses of my dream!

Dresses are beautiful but customer service is Horrible. There was no communication for months during the 8 months of production. No updates and no information given when I called. I finally get close to 3 months to my wedding and call to make arrangements to pick up- only to not be able to pick up my dress, even though I was told I could. They want payment before you see the final product and fail to mention that they take 10 days to process payments, (which is insane especially since they only want card payments which approve or declined instantly).
I was not told anything about shipping costs or the process for alterations for out of state brides- neither of which are on the website. Policies are not made clear and process information on alterations and shipping is not available on website or any emails prior to your dress being done.
By the time I got my dress - almost 2 weeks after I planned, it arrived with a tear in a seam on the side and a stain on my overskirt. When I reached out to inform them they passed it off completely and took no responsibility.
This has been such a headache and really disappointing to the point that I don’t want to wear my dress and represent this company on my special day. I would get another dress but because they don’t give refunds and I am now 2 months out I am stuck. I loved that they are black owned and have dresses that flatter curvy bodies but you can’t put a luxury price on a product and give lackluster customer service.

I’m a maid of honor in a weeding that less then 3 weeks away. Can you believe the zipper doesn’t work. My order was made January 14,2022 and didn’t receive it until July 29,2022. No communication no email updates but deadline to purchase the dress in the pop up shop had no wiggle room. When the order was made I was under the weather and not able to go in person to get information. It’s unfortunate with the the money spent and stress of trying to get it fixed for the big day. Finger crossed I didn’t even let the bride know because I don’t want to overwhelm her with the stress. I love to support anything black owned. Unfortunately when something is black own we should do our best to strive to do better then our counterparts. There no way I can send it back to them to Rectified what’s wrong. The weeding to close so more money to be spent. Please get a
Communication team together asap. Your going to loose business.

The store looks a little disheveled the Instagram photo is great, the dresses are nice, I’m just annoyed because You have to put down 50% to preserve the dress which I did not have at the time. When I finally saved the amount they said they couldn’t do it because I wanted a special color and there wasn’t enough time. It’s July the wedding is in December, maybe if they were more established it wouldn’t be a problem. She also didn’t bother offering me any other suggestions which I thought was in poor taste.

I really wished I could give them 0.please RUN! This place is a scam. 1. They don’t really make the dresses. They order them from overseas and up charge you for them.
2. NO ALTERATION — huge red flag, especially when the dresses are over $200
3. The dresses are not the same. Material is different and made poorly.
4. You may or may not receive your dress.

We tried supporting them for an upcoming wedding 14 bridesmaids and only 8 of us received the dress. Out of the 8 the inconsistency is crazy.

I HATE THIS PLACE WHAT I ASKED FOR AND WHAT I GOT TWO TOTALLY DIFFERENT THINGS!
Asking for a final payment before Seeing the finished product after finding out ive been mislead is CRAZY! Saying the dress is finished on two separate occasions and its not ready on either is CRAZY
Scheduling appointments FOR PICK UP Without my knowledge OR with my time in mind absolutely CRAZY
And the Communication in between all of this absolutely horrible Horrible! Never again never ever ever again im so mad AND ONCE AGAIN WILL NEVER DO THEM AGAIN
I WISH I CAN ATTACH THE PICTURES YOU YALL CAN SEE BUT ITS COOL NEVER AGAIN i learned my lesson
