I recently purchased a VW Atlas. Ivan Rosa was an outstanding sales agent. He attended to my every need. He was patient and accommodating. I will defiantly be a returning customer. He was great!
I recently purchased a used Jetta from Jeff at Open Road Manhattan. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Jeff helped me through the process and I didn't feel pressured or like I was on the losing end of the deal. I'm very happy with my new car and would recommend Jeff and the team at Open Road to anyone!
My second time buying a Volkswagen with Jeff Issac he was amazing and this time he went above and beyond, he got me the most Bralic car even more than I expected. I ask for a hitch, and I got a fully loaded cross sport. Jeff went above and beyond as usual, and I highly recommend him if you are looking for VW come see Jeff he does not disappoint. A true gentleman and professional that provides exceptional customer service.
My car was badly damaged due to a hit and run while my car was parked. Jeff worked urgently to get me the car I wanted into the dealership so that I can be back behind the wheel in comfort. This is my 4th lease with Jeff and Open Road and this was above and beyond.
Thanks so much to Ivan for making a totally sight unseen purchase of our Q5 so easy A few out of state purchase issues were resolved easily and we love our new car Pickup in NYC was way easier than we feared it would be and the drive home was really fun Keep up the great work
Absolutely the worst service ever. I left my car to be repaired and when I picked it up the hood of the car was down and a charging cable was missing. When I addressed this, they said they're not responsible for missing items. How convenient, it's like a legitimate excuse to steal someone else's property. The manager Anthony Riccardi asked me to reach out to him to get a refund for the cable. I did, and never heard back from him. When I reached out via phone, he accused me of leaving a bad review about this incident (which I hadn't), and he hung up on me. Well, Anthony, here's your review. It was never about the $9 I had to pay for a new charging cable, it's about the principle, and you clearly have none. No wonder the insane number of negative reviews with the managers' name. Shame on any manager who treats customers this way, forgetting that it's your customers what keeps your business afloat.
I had a wonderful experience here. Anthony Riccardi the GM and Jeff my sales associate were both great & very helpful getting me into my new GTI! I love it!
The lease on my car was about to expire and I wanted to finance it. I was taken care of by the Sales Manager Damaris Melendez who made the process of owning my 2019 VW Atlas. The service she provided went above and beyond great customer service. IT WAS AN EXCELLENT SERVICE. I would recommend anyone in the market for a car to go check them out. They provide excellent customer service and left this customer leaving with a huge smile on my face. Thank you Open Road Volkswagen Manhattan for making my process simple.
I have been trying to schedule a service appointment for about 3-4 weeks now and was told a loaner would not be available until two weeks. I call back after about 3 weeks and get told I have to wait another 2-3 weeks. Very disappointed with VW of Manhattan and it seems to me that I was never put on a waiting list.
We bought our car from Jeff and he is the best. His passion for his customers and client success was evident the second we met him. He is the real deal, and I knew we were in great hands with him from the start. The entire process end to end was seamless and we will never buy another car from anyone else!
I had a great experience with my test drives of a CPO GTI and a CPO Golf. I did not follow through on a purchase due to the dealer charging an additional $890 in "dealership overhead fee" on top of the advertised car price. I don't think this fee is disclosed on Open Road's website (but I'm happy to be proven wrong).
Part 1 On June 17 I made a purchase at open road VW Manhattan. This is a purchase I have since then regretted many times To purchase the car the finance manager told me I needed a hefty down payment to qualify for the loan. Despite my hesitations, I provided open road VW Manhattan with the requested deposit. As soon as the deal was done, things went further downhill. They informed me the car wasn’t ready for pickup and that they would put me in a loaner. They mentioned that the right front wheel was damaged and that they would change it and deliver the car to me the next day. When I called they mentioned that they didn’t have the appropriate tools to remove the wheel. The service department let me know not to worry and that the part will be there and that they will provide an update. The next day comes and goes, no update from VW open road. I called back the day of to find out the part has still not arrived. I was annoyed and frustrated with this because I would expected this to be done before the car is ready for sale. I was made aware, about 10 days from my purchase date that the tire was changed and ready for safe driving. I went to dealership. The wheel was in fact not changed and no could explain why I was summoned. It was mentioned that a crucial part was still missing I realized as well that the car was missing mats after all this time and a license holder in the front. The manager Andre suggested to me that I take the bmw with the damaged tire. He said that they would let me know when the part came and then I would come back to change the tire. He assured me that if the tire goes flat he would tow it back to the dealership. With that assurance in a written email from Andre, I left. I appreciated fi On my way, the worst scenario happened - the tire popped. This happened at about 5pm. I immediately called Andre to set up the tow. He told me someone would tow in the morning I said ok. In the morning I left the keys in the bmw for the tow. I took the train from my apartment in Rockaway beach New York all the way to the location in Manhattan and walked about 10 blocks to get the dealership to pick a new loaner. Andre tells me later that day that they won’t be able to tow the car today. I wake up the next morning at 7am to deal with tow people. They tow the car and in about 3 days the car is ready. I picked up the car hoping that I would never have to come to the VW open road for a very long time.
We couldn't have had a better experience than we did with Justin White and VW Manhattan team! After a few weeks of dealing with hysterics of different dealers, we were so relieved by and appreciative of how respectful, calm and helpful Justin was, especially in this market. We bought a new VW Tiguan, drove away with it in just a few hours and have been loving it ever since. Highly recommend this place, and hope to be back for car #2!
Extremely impressed with the professionalism of the Open Road staff. Damaris was such a delight right from when we walked in the door, and Jeff was such a cool, down to earth, honest and helpful sales associate. We didn’t know what to expect after dealing with Ford for a decade and let me tell you, we are beyond satisfied with how amazing and smooth Jeff made the process. We were even able to walk out with it that same day! I highly recommend anyone looking for a car to start here first. You will not be disappointed. Looking forward to another purchase here in the future.
I originally was looking to purchase a Jeep at the nearby dealership and was extremely disappointed by the way the staff treated me. I decided to go to VW and wow was its day and night in difference. Kristian was extremely helpful and honest with me, helped me figure everything out in detail and i ended up purchasing a Taos. Awesome staff and great experience. Thank you all!
To start, let me just say that my experience at Open Road was unlike any other dealership. I had been searching for a new vehicle before my previous lease ended, and after shopping around I was referred to Jeff, at Open Road, by a friend of mine.
During my search at other dealerships, I noticed I was being given extremely higher quotes for similar vehicles, and had become frustrated and unsatisfied. However upon arriving at Open Road, I could immediately tell I was in good hands. It was a calm atmosphere, everyone was pleasant and friendly without being overwhelming and bombarding you, and there were no gimmicks.
Jeff, one of the Senior Sales Rep’s was extremely professional, honest and precise, and he made me comfortable, as well as made this process as smooth as possible. The initial numbers I received were slightly higher than my budget, yet drastically lower than other dealerships I had been to. Jeff and his team was able to work their magic and get me at a lower, more affordable rate.
To my surprise, the next day when I went to pick up my new vehicle, I was informed that Jeff, his manager Andre, and their team had managed to get me at an even lower rate, drastically lower than the initial quote I received walking in, and this was all with no money down! Jeff even took my old lease to return for me, free of charge.
I walked away completely satisfied with my entire experience, and with a brand new 2022 Volkswagen Taos, that I love. Open Road Volkswagen has definitely received a long term customer!
One of the best dealerships In terms of professionalism. The sales person Kristian Klouda was very patient and well versed in all the number crunching and gave me multiple options which would best suit my needs. I am giving 5 stars. The used car is literally brand new in terms of looks and performance, Kristian advised me toward this car over the other I initially was interested in, and honestly can’t thank him enough! A+
My husband & I received exceptional customer service. The sales representative Andre was able to help us find the right vehicle for our growing family. He was patient as he walked us through the whole process & wasn't pushy at all. We received our vehicle at a great price in comparison to other dealerships. I'd highly recommend to others & will consider this location for future vehicle purchases.
