I received the Monstera Adansonii five days ago. It’s been doing great and thriving! I definitely recommend this shop to others as the service is exceptional. Julio explained to me in detail on how to take care of the plant. Also, the pots are just stunning!

They have beautiful plants. We got a Zz plant and a huge money tree from here. Their plants are super healthy and well taken care of. I would say they are a little over priced I saw the same money tree for less money at another nursery but either way still a great place to shop for quality plants.

Bought these two large plants, 1 monstera and 1 silver queen snake plant, I came across this page via reference from an Astoria small business page I follow on Instagram.

I was on the market for some new house plants for the festive start of spring, and to my surprise they had the most beautiful selections of plants that I wanted and more that I fell in love with, as well as a beautiful selection of Pots and plant care accessories and candles.

The lay out the store gave a beautiful modern plant shop appearance, as to not over crowd your senses, I felt like it strolled through a tropical rain forest, the staff were so pleasant, so friendly and knowledgeable of the plants I wanted and they care they required, they gave me great discounts on my purchases as well as repotted my plants in store with the pots I purchased

10/10 would definitely recommend this cute beautiful plant shop

This place is my go to when it comes to adding to my houseplants. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Went in today with two plants that were bought elsewhere and got them repotted into beautiful ceramic pots that will help them grow out more. Definitely follow them on Instagram as well cause they do a great job of letting you know what is in stock.

The staff at NY City Succulents are well-versed, passions and excited to help you find your perfect plants according to your lifestyle. This is my new go-to, so happy to have found this gem. Julio is a great wonderful well mannered sought out charming grateful technical smart savvy business oriented man who will show his real care to his customers and you can tell he has a deep love for what he does such a great place highly recommended:)

I have purchased a large plant from the shop; the owner was very nice and friendly. I followed the instruction of watering the plant every 7-10 days; however, the plant immediately (two days later) started developing brown spots on the leaves. I contacted the shop, and the person I contacted told me to re-water the plant and make sure I drain the pot. The process didn't help, the plant continued to develop brown spots throughout, and now, the plant is almost dead. I purchased the plant about a month ago, and I paid around 80 dollars plus another (~ 40) or so for the pot. I usually don't have a good track record with keeping plants alive, but this plant started developing brown spots just two days after purchase; I had not yet had watered the plan. I kept the plant away from the radiator and direct sunlight. The shop is lovely, but the advice I received after contacting the store wasn't helpful, nor was there any guarantee for the purchase. Despite my bad experience with the purchase I am giving the shop three stars (instead of 1) simply because the owner was friendly and the shop is lovely. [again, my experience with the plant could be an anomaly, but I don't feel confident recommending purchasing from there, in case there is a problem, you will not be able to get a replacement or your money back, i didn't ask for neither, but neither was offered to me as a solution, just advice, which wasn't very helpful in this case]

Julio, the man who helped me, was such a caring, genuine guy who truly understands the product he’s selling. His customer service was exceptional, it felt like I was talking to my best friend, which made me want to support his business that much more. I implore *anyone* who comes to visit NYC to visit NYC succulents. Especially as Christmas is coming up, imagine how amazing it would be to get that extended family member an amazingly priced cute little succulent! My wife & I were walking and bumped into this nice little shop and let me tell you the prices for what you get are really GREAT.

Loved this spot Great Attitude & Helpful (Owner), telling us about the plants & The candles that he offers. We ended up picking up this Beautiful (Leaf Fig) & 2 Candles that smell AMAZING! Well recommended if you want to buy a Plant or even to see some Amazing Plants that he offers.

I rarely write reviews but this place was so wonderful and cute, I had to! The staff were so kind and warm and even remembered me and what I bought a month later when I came back. Every one of the plants they offer are so freaking cute! 10/10 Would recommend!

Absolutely love this place.i came in with a friend a few weeks ago and left with this adorable little pink pineapple top baby that's thriving.they answered my questions and had amazing prices and selection. Can't recommend enough.

Amazing local shop! The owners are so knowledgeable. I had to get rid of most of my plants once I got a kitten. They have a great selection of pet friendly plants & lots of trailing ones. We also got one of their soy candles. You can tell they put a lot of thought and hard work into their business.

I really love this store. I came here when they first opened up.they have a great variation of items to choose from. They also have a lot of rare and beautiful succulents. I love their candles the most, they have crystals in them, and they smell really good.

I love this shop it just opened up down the street from me. The owners are amazing and very informed when I asked questions of different plants. You can see they take very good care of them from throughout the entire purchase process to me taking it home. I ordered my 1st plant from them online about a year and and it has grown so much. I plan to always give them my business wether it’s in person or online with their amazing selection.

I cant believe this shop opened up so close to my new apartment. Their candles smell really good too.

Great place to get succulents, cactus, and other great and cute plants for home or office. They're knowledgeable in the plants they have in store so any questions you have of the plants they can answer. They also have pots, dirt, and great smelling candles. Worth the money.

Saw this cute plant shop as I was heading to the subway last week. They are conveniently located just off the R train on Steinway Street. There were a couple of cute and unusual looking succulents displayed outside their storefront which made me want to go in.

The shop mainly sells succulents (hence the name) but I saw that they also had some other plants like ferns, mini orchids, aloe and cacti. They also sell hand-crafted candles and soaps and small pottery. Staff were very friendly and made a point of chatting with customers, answering questions, etc. I would say this store a great option if you are looking for a housewarming gift, a plant for your office, looking to decorate your home or whatnot.
