This was our first time at NY Axe in Selden. To be quite honest…. We had a blast! It’s interesting how you go from (in our case that is, lol) being ALL over the place, then with a few simple instructions from their staff, (specifically, Lauren) we both started hitting the, Definitely worth the visit…great atmosphere. We’ll be back soon enough?

We had a great experience! First coach was alright but didn’t explain much but the very basic. Didn’t make the experience enjoyable or show any interest in coaching people. Coach Kaitlyn took over and was amazing and super fun. She gave pointers and really brought the fun we were expected from this experience.

I’ve never felt cooler than throwing an axe. Lauren was a fantastic coach! Definitely will come back.

The entire experience was perfect. Jason did a great job helping us and having fun with the group.

Great concept. However, i think this location is too small for the customer flow.
I went on a Saturday at 530 pm, we arrived 10 min before our reservation time, and the place was packed.
They were running a little behind and we also had an error with our reservation, we booked for archery. However, they overbooked their archery equipment and could not accommodate us.
It seemed as if this place is ran by a bunch teens, they wasted our time by training us for archey to just switch us mid way to axe throwing, after the walk through we were placed at a target and then we were moved to another target 20 min into our game! Just so they could accommodate a ' large team' that came in (way after us) and wanted their targets next eachothers.
At first, we were told that we would have a credit for ax throwing session (only vaid monday-thursday) for the inconvenience and within just 5 min into that the worker switch it from afre3 session to a free drink then to just 10 extra minutes for the inconvenience.none of these promises were actually held up on their end.

We had an awesome first experience at the selden location. Geoff was amazing, made us feel quite comfortable, despite my many shortcomings. We will definitely be returning, and recommend everyone else to give it a try as well.

Aly was awesome, she was there to guide us and did and amazing job. Me and my husband had an amazing time.

We were there to celebrate my cousin's Birthday and we had a fabulous time. Alexa was our helper for the evening and she made us feel experienced even though this was our first time. She showed us how to place our hands and throw the axe and even when we should let go. There were apps and drinks and lots of laughter. We even tried the bull riding which I think was a little costly because I paid $10 for staying on 4 seconds, What a Flop! A truly fun place!

Went with a few friends and family for my birthday. They had a computer issue that they resolved and didn't take from our play time. Apps were good, and decent selection at the bar.
