My stylist was Ebony and I had such a great experience. She is so knowledgeable and kind. I’ve had some harsh experiences when it came to getting my hair done before because of how long and thick it is but Ebony was so nice and patient with my hair. I was anxious going in but came out feel ever more confident. Ebony gave me great tips for me to continue to take care of my hair. The other stylist I came in contact with was so nice as well. The atmosphere at the shop was so warm and inviting.

I had a consultation with Alice and Brianna did my hair. Brianna washed, steam treatment and updo bun. I love the atmosphere and both Alice and Brianna has such sweet spirits. I definitely will be back.

Nubian Hair Studio; I have so many positive things to say it’s hard to start. As I walked in the staff greeted me with a smile. My stylist for the day was Ebony, I explained about the build up in my locs and how I was starting to feel burdened by the length. I wanted a detox for a fresh start and she delivered 100%, she gave me great advice on how to care for my locs and prevent buildup and keep them looking neat and healthy. She informed me of the products I should be using that would keep my locs clean that wouldn’t be harsh on my scalp. After the detox my hair was looking revived and I decided on a retwist, during the retwist I was conflicted about cutting my hair.
She provided me with a few great options and I decided on a style to keep my hair out of my face but not have to cut it. The stylist were all very talented as I looked at the customers outcome I can say each stylist is well equipped to handle just about anything coming their way. I feel very happy with the outcome; my hair was clean, neat, and I received many compliments on the style. I got exactly what I wanted. Ebony really blessed my locs and I am very thankful.

Getting hair services at Nubian Hair Studio has always resulted in my hair being and feeling healthier than when I walked in. Warm, friendly, and comforting atmosphere. I trust very few people with my hair due to experiences with other haircare professionals. Alicia's hands have mastered skills that leave my hair nurtured, thriving, and so manageable. She makes being natural not only convenient and fun, but a joyful exploration of self-care. I am so grateful for her work and her artistry.

This hair studio has a very nice atmosphere and a polite staff which made me feel more comfortable as it was my first experience at a natural hair salon. The stylists also seem very knowledgeable in their work as they gave me tips on how I could improve my hair care.

I had a very pleasant time at this quaint hair studio for natural hair. I normally don’t allow anyone to touch my locs but I must say I’ll be visiting this studio again. Alicia is amazing
