I went to get my car inspected and the owner said the only way to pass inspection is if I buy two new front tires. I should have asked for my old tires back and put it in the trunk. But in the meantime my car did pass inspection. He just wants to charge more money. They're all a bunch of crooks

Paul is the best, he is honest, hard working and trustworthy. Not to mention, kind and compassionate! My husband Clint, dealt with him for many years. He was also very pleased with the services.

AAA dropped my car at shop at 10PM It had a broken belt and I was told to expect a call in the morning. When no call came in I called and was told very rudely that they didn’t have the time to check my car today and maybe can get to it the following day. The guy just hanged up the phone. I called AAA and was told that it wasn’t there fault and they apologized. AAA told me to have the car tow to my Machanic. So when I got there and told the front end manager, Paul, that I wanted my car to tow it my Machanic his reaction was hostile. He got my keys went and got my car and just dumped it in the street. Came out of my car and threw the keys to me.what a jerk. So stay away if AAA recommends this place No one needs this kind of service

My car was in another shop and that shop could not figure it out. It was towed by Nor Bay and they fixed my car once they got to it. They charge a reasonable price and my car runs fine

Paul has phenomenal customer service. They do good work. They are courteous. I highly recommend this service station

Norbay is a group of car mechanic professionals who are customer service friendly. I have had several repairs made with my vehicle and have always left satisfied. Their service prices can be higher than most but are fair overall and worth the expertise that they provide. One job not two to fix the issue. There is no funny business going on here. You do get what you pay for in the end right? As a Bronx resident, I have multiple choices for mechanic services. I am glad that I continue to make the right one. This business is worthy of yours. Give them a try and you will walk away with a clear understanding of repairs needed and knowing that they have the correct expertise to do it.

This was my first time using this shop; my car needed repair to the radiator and transmission hose. It was not a cheap job, let me tell you.but at least it was done quick and right, no problems after the repair. My car was ready at the time they said it would be which is always a good thing. I chose this shop because of AAA reviews and because my car needed to be towed, I know the tow truck is owned and operated by this shop (used it before). I figured, let me try this joint and see how they stack up.
So yes, I would recommend this place and maybe I'll give them a second turn for another repair.
Edit and Update 8/26: so the hose from the radiator that was replaced began to leak. Called and spoke to Paul (I think that's the name) and he said bring it in; after a day he checked it out and said the radiator was defective and needed to be replaced again, under warranty of course. So now the car is fine.good job.

I had to bring my car there three times.transmission got me for $2,625.the next day my transmission light comes on again.i called they said it's fine to drive.three days later my belt snapped on a 90 degree day. That cause my engine to over heat I had to call AAA to tow it from 138th and 3rd ave.the representative said it will be additional $10.the driver arrives 2hrs later me and my family are waiting outside. He charge me $50. The fixed it the next day for $511.00.the next day all my warning lights are lit up. $$

The worst mechanic shop ever. I went to fix my starter at my Jeep Cherokee. They told me that it cost over 600$, when the part is only 260$, and they needed 3 hours to fix it so I have to pay 300$/ 3 hour’s, when they actually fix it in 1/2 hr. Who is the crook here?
They keep my car out of the shop with windows open, on 90degree day, I found a dent that I know I didn’t have it before on the right side of the front door.

I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH THOMAS THE TOW GUY AND HIS DISRESPECTFUL DISPATCHER THAT HUNG UP ON ME WHEN I TOLD HIM THAT THOMAS HAD A NASTY ATTITUDE AND DIDN'T WANT TO DO NO WORK AND GET MY CAR ON THE FLATBED. THOMAS DROVE AWAY AND LEFT ME STRANDED I HAD TO CALL TRIPLE AAA BACK AND GET ANOTHER TOW SERVICE TO COME GET MY CAR. I PAY FOR A SERVICE FROM TRIPLEAAA IF THEIR NOT GONNA HELP PEOPLE THEY NEED TO FIRE BOTH OF THEM AND LEAVE THEM JOBLESS BECAUSE A WHOLE NOTHER TOW COMPANY TO HELP ME AND HE HAD NO PROBLEM OR ATTITUDE, HE WAS VERY PLEASANT AND HELPFUL. HOWEVER THE NEXT TOW GUY DIDN'T COME FROM NOR BAY TOWING. IF I WAS YOU I WOULD SEEK OTHER HELP ELSEWHERE THAT REALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AND NOT WAISTING YOURS OR THEIR TIME. I'M FILING A REPORT WITH TRIPLE AAA ON MONDAY.

They ruined my friends car because she’s a female took advantage of her she had to bring it back 2/3 times, charged her $800 and her car is still broken 2 months later, these people need to be shut down

They fixed my car the same day and drove me home and picked me up when they were done. My car drive perfectly now
