This is the second car I purchased from Newins and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. They make you feel welcome and treat their customers very fairly. I travel far to come to them and it’s worth every mile. I worked with Dan Salvatore, who couldn’t do enough to expedite my trade-in and new car purchase. He was very responsive to my email and text messages as well. The General Manager, Matt Stickney, was fully involved and helped tremendously. I forgot something in the car I traded in and he made sure I got it back. Those extra touches don’t happen everywhere. This dealership is run exceptionally well!

I’ve been a customer of Newins Bay Shore Ford for my last 3 leases. The sales manager Matthew Stickney is so kind and has always gone out of his way to try and find the best deal possible for us. Everyone at this dealer is always so helpful and I don’t trust any other Ford dealer on the island with my business. Even though I no longer have a lease at this time, I will definitely be coming back when it comes time for another car! Thank you Matt and the Bay Shore team for all that you’ve done for me over the years!

This is an updated review

I had a wiper arm recall for my 2021 F150, scheduled an appointment and dropped truck off. Truck qualified for recall but parts weren't available, told me they ordered the parts and would be in the following week. Well, following week went by, following month, following year. Multiple calls asking about the parts met with multiple excuses. Claiming can't find parts, parts never delivered, etc. Was told I'd hear back. Year later after not hearing anything, zero call back. Took my truck to another dealer, parts were in stock and replaced within an hour. I get labor shortages and what not, but absolutely inexcusable.

After hearing from a manager, they offered a potential solution for my issue.

So I will be giving them another chance. Hoping for a better outcome this time.

Do not use this service center warning! I brought my suv in for oil change and immediately upon driving my car after service my skid plate fell off into pieces. I drove 50 feet and I called the service center to report the incident. They told me no problem bring the car back and they would fix it. However the day of appointment I called to confirm and the service advisor named Kenny told me no way would they fix their mistake for free and that it wasn’t their fault. Service had to take this plate off to do the oil change last. They kept taking no responsibility and tried blaming it on me for driving 50 feet after the service was done. I told them if they took the part off last then obviously they should be responsible especially since it was the first time driving since the service. Kenny refused to take any responsibility and kept saying it wasn’t their fault.
If you plan on using this place for services you should be aware that they will take no responsibility for their work and they will try to blame you for anything that goes wrong after they took apart your car and put parts on incorrectly. While I was in the office there was also several people on the phone complaining about their work and services so I knew I wasn’t the only one having these problems. Beware this place will do the same to you and blame any damage from their services on you! I will never bring my car there for any service especially a simple oil change!

I’m on my third explorer which I bought from Newins over the years, I’m still driving my 98 with 280,000 miles. I bought my new 2022 with the help of Kiesza Fisher, She was an outstanding sales woman very knowledgeable not pushy, a very easy transaction. She went above and beyond when she ordered the Ford 2022 Explorer catalog from EBay, Newins didn’t have any 2022 Explorer left and Ford discontinued printing that year. Great job to all involved!

I really dreaded the car hunting process. After researching different makes and models for weeks, bothering family and friends, making spreadsheets, I visited different dealers, checkedout the inventory, and test drove. When I met Kez at Newins Ford, I found not only a professional willing to listen to my needs, but she also provided detailed information. Kez knows her cars! She’s very knowledgeable in several makes and models of cars and knew the specific answers and what my priorities were. She is an excellent listener. She was helpful and patient but not pushy. When I did make my decision, she was very efficient and thorough. What a positive experience! Everyone should buy a car from Kez! I’ve now owned my car a couple weeks and I love it. I also feel comfortable calling her if I have any questions or concerns.

My wife and I recently purchased a used Raptor from Newins Ford. The experience was very nice and relaxing. Kezia handled the whole process and made it especially memorable for our 7 and 10 year old sons. Matt and Bryon did their part to make it a smooth transaction. I highly recommend Newins Ford.

If you value your time, and money, read this entire review. This one star is for Sales and Service. Sales because when we bought out our lease this year my wife expressed concern with the service department. The salesperson assured her that given a second chance she wouldn't regret it. Here we are, today with a scheduled routine maintenance service for 745am and a concern for a noise in the engine compartment. We did not hear anything all day so at 4pm, we call for an update. The service department in sum and substance says, we didn't even look at your car yet and can't. We close at 5pm. You are allowed to have a busy business and we get that but absolutely no regard for the value of our time? Not to mention taking a day off to have this vehicle serviced WITH AN APPOINTMENT and the vehicle not be looked at and not even a phone call. It's reprehensible management from the top down. We can bring the vehicle, your vehicle, to any mechanic but we chose you to stand by your word and your action or inaction spoke volumes to your loyalty to your customers. This is an accurate summary of what happened today 9/27/22. I wish I could exaggerate some poor service, or even someone's unprofessional phone demeanor but we didn't even get that. I am sorry it came to this but I wouldn't want someone else to be disrespected and dismissed like we were.this is in response to your response on 9/29/22, it's my wife's vehicle. So it's in her name, to protect her privacy I won't say her first name. However, this goes to your preparedness. How many Martinez had a 745 appointment that day? Also, she emailed a complaint to your management with no response. If you are truly trying to rectify this situation, we will hear from someone? Anyone? Please don't reply just to seem as though you responded in good faith and business if it's not your intent

This was by far the best car buying experience I could have ever asked for. I drive about 40 miles a day for work & my wife and I just had our first baby so we were shopping around for an SUV that was safe, reliable, good on gas and featured most of the new “bells and whistles”. I reached out to Matt Stickney and Kyle Liberty who, after thoroughly answering all my questions about whether I should lease or finance, helped me decide on financing my 2020 certified pre-owned Ford Edge! We live in Staten Island so Matt and Kyle were able to handle most of the paperwork remotely which was amazing/accommodating and I was even able to trade in my 2015 Nissan Altima for top dollar. Once I showed up to the dealership (gorgeous showroom and very comfortable waiting area) I was in and out in about 2 hours because they knew I had to be back on the road (in my new stylish Edge) to get to work. Matt was off from work that day and even came in to make sure everything went smoothly. To Matt Stickney, Kyle Liberty, Chris Stickney the owner and the rest of the workers at Newins Bay Shore Ford I want to thank you very much, you guys were awesome!

Kezia Fisher was absolutely awesome to work with. She was patient, understanding and did not try and force a sale, just to make a sale. She listened to my wishlist and was able to get me into a Bronco Sport, quickly and beyond my expectations! The entire process at Newins was seamless. They respected my time and got me in and out as efficiently as possible. I would highly recommend seeing Kez for all Bronco and car buying needs!

This was my first time buying a new truck, and I could not have had a better experience! Dan on the sales team was with me every step of the way, from choosing the specs and keeping me updated on the build, all the way to (finally) taking delivery of my new F-150. I was skeptical at first, but Newins really doesn't pull any of the tricks I've come to expect from other (used and new) car dealers. It's obvious they care about the customer and just want to get us into the car we want, without all the fuss. I had heard good things about Newins and decided to give them a go, even though they were a lot farther than my local dealer. I'm so glad I did, I will definitely be using Newins again in the future.

I gave one star to this dealership and It was only for Joanie, the receptionist. She was kind and invited us in to check out a vehicle of interest. However, once we arrived we were handed to a terrible sales consultant. Defines old school, immediately wanted to talk numbers once we mentioned a vehicle were interested in. After we just requested to test drive to see if we even like the vehicle. Moving on we wanted basic info on the Bronco Sport such as differences in trims, It was then that we noticed he didn’t even know his own trims. He thought there was two trim levels. Then said It was 3. Meanwhile it’s actually 4. Then threw in comments such as “you don’t do research on the internet? It’s all there”, sure thing sales consultant. You’re doing great. Aside from barely helping us with basic product knowledge. He then cut off the conversation and said this vehicle will start off as $700/month. No doubt about It. Yet there’s a sign right next to us that we were just checking out on a Bronco in their showroom that said $550 I believe. Regardless, he just blurted that out without even asking what’s our credit, how much money down, what our trade was, how much we owed if any, etc.didn’t ask any details, just saw my sister and I and must of been used to a lay down sale with little to no effort so when someone actually wanted a real salesperson to provide information if not a sale, he did what he’s used to and set the bar very low for sales consultants. No worries though, not his fault. But management should definitely correct the road to the sale on their staff here because I could bet Joanie would remember us better than our “sales consultant” if that’s what we’ll call him. The guy was rude and even assumed $700 would be out of our budget because after he gave us the news, he immediately led to saying goodbye and kick us out. We never said It was too much. We never said we wouldn’t do the deal. He assumed we couldn’t afford It. But again, this guy wouldn’t know a thing about us because he didn’t ask any questions. All in all, go see Steven at Hasset Ford right on Sunrise hwy, this is a true gentleman and a genuine sales consultant. Don’t waste time here!

I just tried to make an appointment for my wife's car. I asked to come in next Monday and the women said
sure no problem I'm reserving a spit. Then she asked for vin number I said car wasnt with me. But she had already pulled up on computer all my wife information. Without me telling her anything. She then said it would be 2 to 3 weeks for an appointment. And why dont I take it back to where I brought it.
Meanwhile she had just told me no problem she was reserving a spot for next Monday.

I just bought my first car from these guys and I can honestly say they’re in the most professional group of individuals that I’ve ever dealt with in my life. Victor and Xavier made my life so easy especially being from out of state transferring all my information over. If you’re in the market to buy a Ford do not hesitate going to this dealership, they should be your first option to begin with. I can confidently say that I’ll be a customer for life.

I've been a customer of Newins Service for about 7 years now, through about 3 new vehicles. I've ONLY had Newins service my Ford trucks and I've never had issues until the last year or so. I've probably spent $35,000 on service (no that's not a mistake, they did a complete engine replacement + oil pump years ago on a customized truck I owned) without ever questioning their prices/repairs.

Went in sometime in the summer last year to have something taken care of under warranty on my Raptor. I was told not a problem they'd order the parts needed. I checked in every few months to see if the parts arrived (figured supply chain issues) and was always told nothing was there for me. Finally earlier this year I asked them to look into the delays. I was told the ticket (RO i think they call it) was closed out. Odd. I was told it was being ordered. Turns out they never ordered any part and closed the ticket. I then had the service manager, Ken, look at my issue so we could get the part ordered. This was around March or so of 2022. He took some photos and was going to take care of it for me. Fast forward to today. I had an appointment for my Bronco now (I take multiple trucks to them). Dropped the truck off at 9am for a simple oil change and a few TSBs. I called them at 4pm to check on the status and was told the truck hasn't even been looked at yet. So I just went down there and decided to just pick it up/deal with it another day.

While I was there I asked to see Ken, because once again they could not find any open service ticket on my Raptor. Ken remembered me and when I asked about the photos he acknowledged he did take them but he never sent them to Ford. Not sure why, but he just didn't get around to it.

Not very professional if you ask me. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

It's just amazing that after being such a loyal customer and ONLY using them for service, I get the run around on multiple issues. This isn't the first time my truck was never looked at when I had a service appointment, but with todays issue with the Bronco never getting looked at AND the Raptors now SECOND issue being essentially ignored, I'll have to go elsewhere.

The service advisors ARE terrific people. Joe, Nelson and the other guys are nice people to work with. The service manager though seems to think otherwise of their customers. I had gotten into an argument about warranty issues last year with the Raptor. I was told I should have followed up sooner about a part that never got ordered. What's the excuse this time? Was I supposed to remind him to submit the photos to Ford for this warranty claim, again? He did ask me if I had purchased my vehicles there, as if that should make a difference (and I did try but they never had inventory on the trucks I wanted).

Really sad to have to find a new service center, but I don't appreciate the run arounds and not having my truck serviced when I had an appointment. Not after all the money I've spent here. I've been very loyal and can't believe how I was overlooked on not one, not two, but three issues within the last few months now.

Newins is one of the best dealers I have ever done business with. Their staff is amazing all around and Dan Salvatore is one of the best sales consultants you can ask for. 4 vehicles and counting from them and shout out to service and Xavier.

I had a great experience doing business with Newins Ford. Bryan, Matt, Xavier and Victor were helpful and on point during the whole process. Newins was one of the few dealerships in the area that immediately agreed to sell at MSRP and honored their commitment without hesitation. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the Long Island area looking for a hassle free purchase.

Recently picked up my new bronco from Newins. My sales guy Paul Su was absolutely great to work with. Entire process was quick and easy. Paul and Newins value your time, no getting stuck in the dealership for hours and hours. Got me a great price on the truck and my trade in. I cannot recommend Paul enough, he was super nice, no bs, and managed to get me a bronco pretty quickly considering what is going on in the auto industry. If you are in the market for a bronco, Paul Su at Newins is the man to see. A+ Dealership, and the truck is awesome.

It is the worst experience of my life, I took my truck to repair, a factory call, they gave me my car and now they are charging me 2,000.00 and if I do not pay them, they will send me to collection, they did not bother to call ford factory to pay them, if not they threatened me, and I had to call the ford company to pay them, it's a big disappointment I don't recommend this dealer to anyone they don't do their job, it's easier for them to threaten the clients.
