I really enjoyed the service I received.was able to get a cut although I was late for my appointment. Worth every penny.

I just moved here (Sunnyside) and it was confusing to find out the right place to shape your way of face cutting throug haircut.
After seeing all the positive reviews and also getting my good quality haircut, i can say - this place is trustable without knowing (especially the guy Nelson)
notes: For new ones - (specially) whoever from India/pakistan/bangladesh suffering for finding a reasonable nice wealthy place looking for a great quality haircut check in this place.

I used to come here for my haircuts and they did a decent job. There's one woman who always did it great. I made the mistake of letting one of the dudes there with a bad haircut cut my hair and haven't been back since.

My son and husbund both go here. Its a really great local barber shop. Quick line, great cuts, kid friendly, and good prices

It’s a tight barber shop because all 7 chairs are being used. Went there for my son and Rosie (has short asymmetrical haircut) was wonderful and understood what I wanted for my son. Will definitely recommend this place. Next time I’ll try to go during the week, need to get her schedule:)

Es una barbería apretada porque se están usando las 7 sillas. Fui allí por mi hijo y Rosie (tiene un corte de pelo asimétrico corto) fue maravillosa y entendió lo que quería para mi hijo. Definitivamente recomendaré este lugar. La próxima vez intentaré ir durante la semana, necesito conseguir su horario:)

Some guy that clearly doesn't know what he's doing just gave me the worst cut I've ever had. Hope the other employee's aren't as bad but I won't be returning to find out.

I can't recommend this place enough. Nelson is a great professional and their prices are fair. I struggled to find a place where I could get a haircut that I liked and just saying a few words to Nelson he got it done perfectly.

Nelson’s shop is the best, fair prices and always very professional. Wilma is an artist the way he handles the blade. If you are in Sunnyside you must come in!

VIP all the way.best cuts from Gabriel and Nelson…. As an update from 2022. I moved to Nassau and come twice a month as before was every week. I now get haircuts from Juan and Wilman. They’ll give you what you want in haircut, trim, or buzz.

Amazing customer service and professionalism from all the staff.

I've been going to Nelson since I was a kid, over two decades ago, back before he had his own shop. I have always known him to be a terrific barber so I am not surprised at all by the success of Nelson's Barber Shop.

The atmosphere is still old school nyc.it's a rare find in the over gentrification and destruction of what my hometown was. I'm really happy these guys are around.great cuts.fair prices.

I booked my appointment online. When I came, I didn't have to wait. I was taking care of and the barber did my haircut as I wanted. It would definitely go back.

I absolutely love this shop its called a "BARBERSHOP" but they cut male or females hair. When you come to this shop expect a friendly conversation with an exceptional haircut.

If you’re a first timer, not recommended! I think they’re giving priority with their regular. Which is I understand, but you also need to give attention for those new comer to experience a good service, so it’s like mehh. I ask one of the guy barbers to do my haircut also I prefer a guy barber to cut my hair, But he just told me to go the woman on the side. I already told that guy what my preference. So I have no choice. Luckily the lady barber (Glenda) helped to style my hair. Which I appreciate her for being patient and managed to the style that I want. It’s just so upsetting because those guys are not that accommodating. They’re like pushing away the new comer customers, and make the first impression the best. But I guess it didn’t meet my expectation. ‍️ Look for Glenda and she will help you have a perfect style for your hair.

Despite of the pandemic era, we're in. This barbershop is good. Professionally. Like it. Was able to get nice good haircut since August 2020, I think. But good.

Best barbershop in queens hands down! It's ran by father and son. Gabriel has been cutting my hair for years. Young but extremely experienced and talented. He can do any style. They have other barbers there too female and males and they all do a great job.family oriented place and the father who runs it cuts children's hair and he seems to be very good with kids. I highly recommend this spot!
