I enjoyed the boneless chicken roti. My daughter and nieces enjoyed their meals also. My wife ginger mint tea was the best.

If you’re loving caribian food it definitely one to experience. True passion and good atmosphere truly emphasise the delicious taste. Highly recommended it!

I love this place! They accommodated my party of 20 and made me feel welcome. This is my second time here and I will return. Anthony was wonderful.

They still don't have a liquor license, so it's BYOB. I'm not a big drinker, so that was fine. My server couldn't have been more pleasant and accommodating. My tamarind ribs were delicious, and the sugar cane juice was excellent! I can't wait to go back.

My husband and I found this place on tiktok and I’m so happy we did, the staff was very nice greetings us as we came in. The food was amazing and our serving staff he was excellent. It felt so cozy and comfortable we will be going back… pls try the oxtail empanadas they are sooo damn good

Long but 100% Honest Review.

I thought I would be leaving a five star rating but unfortunately I want to rate it 0. Simply for the taste of the food I will even put a single star but the overall experience was TERRIBLE!

For context we booked an 8: 30 reservation for my sisters 30th birthday dinner. We were physically inside by 8: 35 and were told to stand off to the side as they were getting our parties table ready. We were seated at 9: 30pm. Now first and foremost If I book a 8: 30 reservation I am not expecting it to take an hour for my parties table to be prepped and ready to go so arguably that was the first strike.

Moving on — we waited an hour to be seated so to keep the spirits high and apositive attitudes we each decided to look at the online menu and figure out what we wanted in advance. We ordered our food moments after being seated an hour later, (9: 30pm) and our food didn’t come out for an additional hour (10: 38 to be exact) and it wasn’t even like everyone’s food was served all at once, nope some of us had food and others were still waiting until pushing 11pm. Now idk maybe an hour wait time is absolutely normal but for me it just wasn’t okay and topped with having made a reservation, I was just annoyed at this point. To say the absolute least I was very disappointed.

Now in my opinion the worst part is we ran up a $790 tab plus a generous tip, yet we had an absolute horrendous customer experience and my sister didn’t even get to enjoy her dinner.

All in all as I said earlier, the food was good but no food in this world is worth a 3hour wait time. And when I’m spending close to 800bucks I absolutely expect to feel like it was well worth it. So unfortunate.

Friendly culture aware staff. Felt refreshing to speak your native language and they not only understood but execute your every request. It really did felt like Home away from home. Barbecue wings had a vibe and if you've never had a Dockery, i wanna recommend The Mango Dockery as a first timer or if you just love mangoes. And the Negril special is a hit with grey goose as chaser, might just start you up for something fun or amazing and possibly both if you're in the right company

Over $150 on a bill with NO alcohol. How? ! We were taxed twice “sales” and “total” for whatever reason. They had NOT 18% gratuity but 20% and had the nerves to ask for more. SMH. Food was not spicy! Portions were small. I’m disappointed.

The ambiance, the music, the staff, and the cuisines all left an impact. The bathroom was clean, and the staff ensured that we'd want to be back there.

Food took an 1 hour to arrive which is a let down.

Only giving 5 star as y'all are my people — but do work on the timing to compete in this market and represent our culture positively.

The food was great. The server was wonderful, but I was a little disappointed with the size of the dishes. It was small, and the price was high. I was also disappointed when I asked for my food to be boxed to take home. They packed our meat but didn't pack our rice and peas, and vegetables. I was pretty upset when I got home and I unpacked our food. By the way, we weren't offered any rolls or anything before our meal despite the high cost. It would have been nice to have some cornbread or fried dumplings as an option.

We shared a tasting platter and two sides and came home with leftovers. Very tasty authentic caribbean food with great non alchoholic options such as sour sop lemonade. Does not disappoint. The service is friendly and helpful.

My family and I had a good time eating at Negril. Tasty curry goat with plantains. Creative art with Jamacian art through out. Our sever was very patient with us because we took a while to make up our mind.

Always great experience haven't been in 10 years and food is better. The wings were great and the portions we great. Service is always nice. Great place for date and its byob

Their food is full of flavor! Had the Negrils tasting platter which consisted of oxtail, curry goat, jerk chicken and rice & peas. Everything tasted amazing. Also tried their chicken goat empanada which also tasted amazing. Their Mac and cheese was decent. Great service and beautiful atmosphere.

I ate here like back in 2002 2003 when I lived in NY. They were amazing they had two locations the best Jamaican food I had outside Jamaica. The Ackee and salt fish with food is the best.big up seen

First off, the food is awesome. The servicer I had not good at all. When it was time for the bill, the servicer added the gratitude into the bill, and then he was looking for a tip. Old boy

Food was gone before i could take a pic DELICIOUS! Music was on point! -1 star because there was no liq served but you were allowed to bring your own liq and make a mixed drink with theirs. Servers were very attentive to our large party will def go again!

The food was amazing. From the 5 year old to the 76 year old, all my family members raved about how good the food was. I plan a return visit very soon.

We enjoyed the food here. However, we were told that we could only purchase a 16oz size drink to go and realized it was an 8oz drink that was sold to us when we got home. That was not cool.

They have two sections. Upstairs is more of a calmer, older crowd and downstairs is younger with a DJ.
The drinks are great (from my first visit)! I had the Mango Pina Colada (AT THIS TIME YOU HAVE TO BRING YOUR OWN BOTTLE DUE TO THEM RENEWING THEIR LIQUOR LICENSE).
The waiter was very kind, and came back to check on us several times. They have a photographer who is also very nice.
The food was spicy, but good. I'm referring to only the appetizers. The entrées was not tasty at all. Oxtail was tougher than calculus, curry lobster was bitter due to burnt up curry. I do commend the waiter for changing my order to the coconut salmon, which was pretty good in my opinion. The DJ downstairs was pretty good, but it appears that he needs new equipment due to sound complications.

I havent Ben to Negrils in years however the upgraded changes are pleasantly wonderful. I celebrated my sister-friend birthday there, recently. Everything was absolutely wonderful. The ambiance the lighting the decor the staff was professional take escorted us to our seating area for the dinner celebration. Everything that was requested via the.pre fix menu was phenominal. From service, in a timely manner to the arrangement. Our head waitress in charge o the event was professional & curteous. The fool was so delicious and i mean there wasnt 1 thing they bought out that wasnt devoured by the guests. Then after we ate & laughed & celebrated, We were able to go downstairs into the lounge area where they had ADJ and great music. And we danced. I cannot say enuff about Negrils. They did not disappoint in anyway when it came to the bday prefix and i def recommend going for social, casual, dates or celebrations! I hope this review did justice in comparrions to our night there. The enviornment is clean ans the pricing was very fair. I garauntee you will feel the same as me after your experience there!
