Myss Tic Rooms

Did the Montauk Project with a group of 4. We had varying levels of experience and the room was the perfect amount of challenging. The puzzles were the star of the show for us - each one was unique and creative. Ben was extremely helpful and created an awesome ambiance. Definitely would love to go back and try Ghost Light!

Celebrated a 12 year old birthday with this experience, and it was a BLAST for both the kids and adult chaperone! It is a nice mixed difficulty level to accommodate the age range.

My partner and I did both rooms and loved them equally! The rooms themes are very different from each other, and the puzzles between them are pretty varied. Gamemasters were super good and gave us the perfect amount of nudges when needed. We are both very new to escape rooms but these experiences have made us want to keep up a new hobby!

Ghost light was one of the best escape rooms I have ever experienced. It was clearly put together with care with great puzzles and fantastic set design.

Super fun! Went with a beginner group of four adults to the Ghost Light room and had a great time!

They denied me a room I believe for racial reasons. They had rooms available online. I’m sure it was fun in side reason for the 2 star review.

Came here with my team from work and had a great time! Our game master was very friendly and accommodating. We were in the ghost light room, and we finished with about 10 minutes to spare. It was fun without being overly difficult. Definitely would recommend.

This was the best escape room I’ve been to in New York! My partner and I did the Ghost Theater room & it was spectacular, to say the least.

All the puzzles made sense and were connected. There were no useless locks, no useless items. Everything played into the story. It was amazing! Plus our game master (ghost) Rory was v helpful with the clues (they’re unlimited) without giving away too much.

We’ll definitely be back to escape the Stranger Things room, as well as the new room coming in the Fall.

As someone who's not the best when it comes to puzzles (especially time based ones), I was blown away by what an amazing time I had at The Ghost Light. The set was absolutely gorgeous and the puzzles were clever/thoughtful (my husband and I finished with about two minutes to spare!) My experience was amplified by the game-master Rory, who was so patient, friendly, and provided just the right pushes to guide us along. Given their thought to detail, I'm already looking forward to Mysstic Rooms other rooms!

We did the Montauk Project and it was really amazing! Puzzles were exceptionally clever and intuitive, and they were very fitting for the occasion. Just the right amount of difficulty to where it was hard but not frustrating. The sets were beautifully designed with a lot of attention to detail and getting better and better as the game progressed. We left with big smiles on our faces. I would highly recommend it!

We had so much fun today at Mysstic Rooms. We did the Ghost light room. It was pretty challenging but still possible to continue making progress and keep the full group interested and motivated. Staff was great too! We will be back

Very cool game! We did the ghost themed one which was really good. Got out with 13 minutes to spare. Would like to try the second room! Would recommended!

Another excellent Brooklyn escape room. We did Ghost Light. The puzzles all make sense and are logical. The ambience is spooky, but not too spooky. The lighting is the best I've seen in a escape room. Very nice staff that were attentive though the whole process.

What a great time! We did it with our kids and had a blast. Great mix of easy and hard. I'll definitely come back to try the Stranger Things room!

I have been playing for more than 10 years in different countries, and escape rooms have become one of my hobbies. This is one of the most aerial that I have done. The room is made with love and great attention to details. The puzzles are creative and varied. From a technical point of view, it is also perfect! My partner had zero experience, and now, she has high standards! Thank you for that!

Played the Ghost Light room, clever answers to the puzzles, each room requires tools from other rooms, and very scary! There are some jumpscares so if you're okay with that, I recommend it! It's an enjoyable experience for beginners and experts alike

It was really fun and challenging but not too challenging. The perfect length and the staff gives you hints along the way if you want or need.

This was the first escape room I’ve ever been to. It was definitely an amazing introduction to the activity! It was very interesting with very different props! They were all unique and interesting. Definitely recommend

We played Ghost light and it was just great. We really LOVED IT! The set, the lights, the clues. Everything in a beautiful theatrical environment. Make yourself a favour going to MyssTic Rooms and have some fun!

Both the rooms here are unbelievable. I wish I could erase my brain so I could come back and do them both. The mechanics work perfectly and the puzzles are challenging but not impossible. 10/10 A+

The experience was fun and challenging. Amazing props and music. It was fun overall and for a hour there are so many tricky puzzles to solve. Great time, great staff, cannot wait to come back for the montauk experience. (Evangelina and Gianna and Mom that stood there)

These escape rooms are fantastic! Very unique and beautiful sets, great puzzles, and overall fantastic atmosphere. Spencer was our game host and made everything so much fun!

This is BY FAR the best escape room I’ve ever been to. The puzzles and stories are so well written and fun. Creepy and chilling (but not too scary). Plus the technical aspects and mechanics of the whole thing are super creative and impressive.

I went for my birthday and it's full of great, interesting puzzles. Its kind of spooky in a good way. I would definitely come again with another group of people to do their other room as well. Beautiful setting too.

One of the better run escape rooms I've done. Decent challenges, good pacing, and a few puzzle dynamics I haven't seen anywhere else.

Exciting and interesting puzzles in fun settings with good ambience. Heard there might be a third room in the works and excited to maybe try it!

One room sees you solving puzzles to appease the ghosts in a haunted theatre. You start in a roaring twenties dressing room. The final puzzle is the perfect kind of brain teaser, with multiple parts to find to clue it all together.

The other room definitely pulls inspiration from Stranger Things, but the 80s flashback setting feels perfect for challenges within. We ran close on time on this one, but that made it all the more satisfying when we pulled it all together. We needed some hints, but they weren't so obvious that it gave us the answer or so vague that we were just as lost. They gave us the direction, and from there we got it.

An absolute blast! The clever puzzles range from all difficulties.i'm not a smart person and I was able to crack a couple for my team of smart friends! A fun way to mix up the weekend and bond with friends!

The sets are beautiful and have so many unique elements to them - if you've done an escape room before, you won't be disappointed by this one, but it's so engaging and the gamemasters are so helpful with hints, it's perfect for first-timers or those who have played many rooms. Really fun themes and definitely worth the price. Will be going back again soon!

Did the Montauk Project escape room with my friends. This one is a MUST TRY for Stranger Things fans. The room was beautifully done! 10/10 experience!

Did both Montauk Project and Ghost Light, and both are in the top 10% of escape rooms I've played. Great atmosphere, all puzzles that fit the theme quite well, excellent game-master who only helped when needed.

We just did our first ever escape room at Myss Tic and LOVED it! Everything was so well curated and put together, and the puzzles were very fun. We needed a bit of help but were never made to feel badly about it. Definitely can't wait to go back!

I have been to a ton of escape the rooms and this one is superior with the story and production. Very good puzzles and flowed well! The host who welcomed us and gave us the back story was awesome. We were a group of 6 (all in the same covid bubble) and felt super safe. So happy they are able to remain open during these hard times! We can’t wait to go back and do the Montauk Project.

Really fun experience at Myss Tic Rooms. The stories are unique and dynamic - one of the best escape rooms I've ever done. Well worth the money!

We did the Montauk Airbase room and it was really well done. Good mix of technology and tactile clues. Not too difficult for anyone who has done escape rooms before.

This was my first escape room and it was super fun! The owners were super nice, the room's puzzles were fun and collaborative, and the atmosphere in the room was superb. It was overall a great experience. I would definitely reccomend this to anyone, no matter the experience level.

This is one of the best rooms we’ve ever done and we’ve done a lot of escape rooms! Logical puzzles, well thought out and very immersive. We will definitely come back to do the other one. The - I’m assuming owners - were super nice, very good vibe!

First time doing a escape room and it was fun. We finished 3 minutes left on the clock. The bathroom had a funny smell though

This place is 5 stars. The planning and design is genius, the whole atmosphere is full of mystery and suspense, and Gara who runs the show is the cherry on top. We loved it and we'll definitely be back!

Did GHOSTLIGHT and had so much fun, we had to do Montauk Project! I've done 38 escape rooms now. This place is one of the best in NYC. HIGHLY recommend. Cool sets, fun puzzles. Loves the themes. I'll be back when they open their third room

This place was definitely worth the time and the money!

My girlfriend and I went the other day and it was cooler and more challenging than any of us expected.

From the set design to the story line & puzzles incorporated in the room, everything was great.

For anyone thinking that this place is just a small closet escape room in a basement, you’re definitely wrong.

Would strongly recommend to anyone.

This place is so great! Really well crafted, creative rooms with super interesting themes. The games are a great balance between incredibly stimulating and achievable. Also, there is a hint of scare that keeps you on your toes so you don’t lose track! Also, the staff is very kind and accommodating, and the place is super tidy and upheld. Great price for the space as well. Highly recommend!

Possibly our favorite escape rooms ever, out of more than 100 that we've done! Excellent themes, and the puzzles are integrated well with the stories.

I've done more than 100 escape rooms and this is likely the best I've ever done. We did the Montauk Project in two people. The room has a wonderful combination of immersiveness and creative puzzles, it really feels like you've been transported to a different world. Highly recommended!

I have tried both Ghost Light and The Montauk Project. I'm a big fan of escape rooms and the quality of the Myss Tic experience is second to none. Hollywood quality set design with challenging and fun puzzles. So many clever solutions. I don't want to include any spoilers - because some of the puzzles were delightfully surprising and not what I have seen in other rooms. They clearly spent a lot of time and money making their rooms a cut above others. Definitely worth a trip. I couldn't recommend the experience more.

We had a fantastic time. Friendly, helpful staff. The room itself was very immersive with fantastic details. All around excellent. I don't even like escape rooms but I loved this one. Highly recommend.

Me and my family’s had so much fun! We got a bit stuck in the beginning but then we got it, but trust me it’s not as easy as it may seem. It was a little bit creepy but very cool, I definitely recommend this spot!

So. Much. FUN! This was a truly unique, fully immersive experience! You walk in, and you immediately feel like you're in the middle of an adventure, fully enveloped in the worlds they created. The puzzles were intriguing, fresh, and scattered with fun references. Highly recommend! We went months ago, and I can't stop raving about it. Just go. You won't be able to stop talking about the Myss Tic Rooms either!

Did both rooms back to back! Puzzles are FUN and really well clued; great rooms - huge and interactive and designed impeccably. Gara was a great game master. Overall a stellar experience! Book it.

We have done both rooms we cant wait for them to open more of them, the experience was so amazing, we have done lots of room and this has been one of our best experiences, the owners are so welcoming and warm, you wont regret it!

I’ve played over 300 escapes, in USA abd Europe too, and I loved “Myss Tic” escapes. At first, we played “Montauk Project”: very funny game, all the sets are amazing and it seems like you are inside a movie. The next day, we played “Ghost Light” and it seems to me a very special escape room, very different from all that I’ve played before, it’s a must!

It is one of the best escape rooms in New York, hands down. We did the Montauk Project room, a team of four and it was a perfect Friday evening activity in the winter time! The puzzles and decor are beautifully crafted by the owners. Everything in the room is arranged cleverly. You, as a customer, immediately feel the tremendous effort they put in. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun night with coworkers, friends, families and/or dates!

We had an amazing time as a family going through this escape room. We did "Ghost Light" and "Mountak Project". Both really good, we laugh a lot while in each room. The clues are very well thought out. Definitely a perfect experience!

We wanted to do something fun and entertaining.the best plan ever! The game was awesome and so immersive, we were fully on board and in as soon as we walked through the door! The staff were super welcoming and attentive. Only wish it was longer as we had so much fun!
