Great service from technician and the owner. The technician was training another young guy and he had so much patience with the new gentleman. The owner is phenomenal and if I could give them 20 stars, I would. Came back the next day to put my 4th tire on and had the opportunity to work with the new guy. Amazing and professional. I recently had my car serviced at Monro Auto Service and Tire Center, and I am extremely satisfied with the experience. From the moment I walked in, Mike was friendly, professional, and attentive to my concerns.

The technician Jamie was incredibly knowledgeable and efficient in diagnosing and fixing the issues with my Prius. They communicated clearly about the repairs and ensured I understood the work being done.

I had an appointment and waited 3 1/2 hours just for an oil change and I was the first one there. Then all of a sudden something is broken which is a lie they are a bunch of crooks. They intentionally mess things up on your car so you can pay for it. I do not recommend this place go elsewhere (ladies especially if you don’t know much about cars).

Wish I could do 0 stars. The manager Mike is unprofessional and cuts you off before you can finish a sentence. He scams people, but especially older women who can not understand a lot of English. He said he told my mother in law that she had to pay $700 for 2 brake pads and rotors otherwise her car wouldn’t pass inspection, but my mother in law said she never agreed to the brakes nor was she told the overpriced cost. This brake job and inspection would cost $4-500 at any other local shop. Stay away from this place. It’s a scam, and mike told us to write a review about our experience if we didn’t like the service so here we are.

Do not believe the positive reviews this place is a rip off they try to say things are broken and they aren't because they're trying to make money off of you

Since my last review, management has changed, the one current manager Jamie is great but I needed to update my review to give props to mechanic Casey Sotelo. He is sooo knowledgeable and offers great advice, i.e. ; thought I needed another wheel alignment and he asked if I had had the wheels balanced. Turns out I saved money thanks to him because sure enough the tires needed a wheel balance not another alignment! He is so personable, takes the time to explain issues with your car and options for course of action to take. Always such a pleasure to deal with, always want him to work on our cars and we have 5!
I have been a customer of this shop for over 25 years, hated when they were closed for a long while before opening new store, had to go up to Poughkeepsie. Manager Dan was up there so familiar face made it easier. Dan and Jay treat me like I expect to be treated when I bring my cars in for service. (Update: Jay is no longer with them as he moved on in his career, good for him). I was never given a "line" and talked into having things done to my cars that aren't needed. I don't need the frills of a car dealership, I want honest repair work and advice. I love that they will run out and check why my check engine light is on for me at no charge. I will continue to be a loyal customer at this Monroe location!

This location is my go to spot for anything I need done on mine and my husbands cars. They’re always very friendly and super patient when it comes to explaining what needs to be done. The manager Mike is very helpful and nice and always explains everything that’s needs to be done and is honest and up front about the cars. The mechanic Casey is super fast and extremely knowledgeable about the cars. He gets my cars done right away and if he is behind, him and mike both let me know there will be a wait time. I recommend Monro at the Wappingers location to anyone and everyone who needs to have work done on their cars. They will always try to fit you in and work with you on parts! Best part, they’re friendly, nice and honest!

0 STARS, DO NOT RECOMMEND. Came to replace my passenger side headlight that went out, they convinced me that I should change both so that they would have equal brightness. 3 months later, the driver side headlight goes out! They pocketed my $$$ and never changed the other headlight! STAY FAR AWAY

Casey is a good mechanic that I followed up with from Danbury. He had my car running in a few hours and I’d highly recommend here to fix your car!

I swear, this is the first time ever that I have been compelled to write a review of a business. As a woman I have anxiety about taking my car to the mechanic. However, this was such an easy visit due to the quality of service I received. Casey was amazing! He showed me under my car and explained everything to me in a way I could understand. This was my first time visiting this business under the new management. I will return for sure as my anxiety has been cured now that I found a mechanic I can trust. Thanks Casey!

Great experience, the team was very helpful and kept me updated on the progress of my vehicle.

I was helped by Casey and Jamie, and their customer service was more than sufficient. I was showed directly what the problem was with a flash light and talked through every step of the process. They also accepted my appointment same day. I will definitely be continuing to bring my car back here.

I would give it a zero if possible. I called just now and was rudely spoken. I was looking for a BJs rep. The gentleman who answered the phone informed me that this is not BJs. I was still talking when he decided to hang up the phone. I redialed and my call was a hang up again. He never even told me that it was a tire center. I hope that anyone who is interested in customer service reevaluate their decision.

Other than charging my Wife again for tire install when it was already paid for by Simple Tire.the Installation manger was a really nice guy (Forget his name at the moment) they happily refunded the money. Did a Great & Quick job with the new treads. ;)

Went in for a noise which I thought was a wheel bearing going bad. The guys quickly took the car in and diagnosed something very simple. I appreciate the honesty. I will definitely will keep this place in mind for future maintenance.

I'm not usually one to write reviews but, thought it necessary to share. I was a new customer and scheduled my online appointment, and asked only for a tire rotation. The business called to let me know that they couldn't do a tire rotation because the tread was too low on a few of the tires. Fair enough. But then you're trying to tell me that I need all 4 tires replaced and giving me estimates for that, when you know well that there are only 2 in need of replacement. Also, thanks for working on my car for a solid hour when thats not the business I asked for, and then charging me $32 for it. $32 for absolutely no work done. You left that part out over the telephone. I guess if you dont specify what you DONT want done, and not just what you DO, then you get seriously worked over. I cant say thats very professional in my opinion. I won't be returning.

Dan and his team are phenomenal! The service is always on point and they explain what the problem is and what needs be done. They break it down in a way thats easy to understand. I will always highly recommend friends and family to come here and see Dan and his team!

I highly recommend this location than any other.very friendly staff especially Dan.he was very helpful during a busy day.diagnose my check engine light and showed me the issue's and now my engine is running like a charm no worries.

I really wish I can give this garage 10 stars but it will not allow me, I came in a few nights ago at 6: 00pm and the shop was very busy and I am very knew to the area coming from Yonkers NY, A stan or dan or Wayne lubo, lusso or lupo, I forgot the name to be honest but I hope he is the gentleman or general manager at the counter and to oversee the garage.how he treated me, my wife and kids with upmost respect. I came in for a oil and filter change 500 miles over my oil change sticker! I felt bad enough I showed up 30 mins b4 closing time, but he refused to let me leave at closing until the oil, filter was changed and the tires rotated plus made sure he did a thorough multi point Inspection. I can not say enough as long as stan or dan is in wappingers my 3 vehicle's will be there from now on. On a regular basis, it's hard to find a trustworthy people but I think i have found it.if dan I think is name is, and his team leave, that means I would have to start from square one and go back to the garage at Getty square in Yonkers that I used to love

I made an online appointment and was waiting for the confirmation email to come. After an hour with no response I called the shop. The man who answered the phone said their WiFi was down. I told him what happened and he said, ”you aren’t trying to book for today? ”I asked him if there were any spots left and he told me yes. He asked for my information and I started spelling my long last name. He was very rude and huffing and sighing as he repeated back the letters as if I was a big inconvenience to him and wasting his time. Needless to say, with customer service like that, I did not make an appointment.

Shop Manager Dan handled everything for my car easily and accurately. All the work was done superbly Even pointing out that 2 of my tires steels belts had shifted and were eligible for a pro-rated warranty replacement - which they were and I got them replaced by Goodyear that same day. Thanks Dan and the shop guys!

Very good experience! Very cooperative and answered all questions/concerns. Did my tyres change right and did other services upon walk-in / on-demand. This helps a lot as it's not always possible to plan everything in advance.

I brought my work vehicle to this location on Tuesday late afternoon and it was fixed by that evening. I would recommend this particular location for your repairs. Very professional. Never take too long with what they have to do and the whole staff is very friendly. They don't make you feel pressured into purchasing anything. Dan manages the shop well.

I brought my 2012 Hyundai Sonata back to Monro here In Wappingers for my usual oil change and I needed to have my two front tires replaced which I had setup with Dan the manager. Well the tires we had picked out ended up getting sold while Dan was on holiday. Once again Dan came through and got me better tires (even though they aren’t the same as what’s on the rear of car) and gave me a great deal as well as a better price on the oil change all because I had to wait for the tires to be delivered. Dan and his crew came through again for me and they’re just great. Plus my car is never dirty and the mechanics give a damn. Thank you again Dan and crew for everything.

Dan the manager provided truly great service where other local repair shops couldn’t. I will now be a repeat customer for whatever I need. This is the place to go.

I have three cars and I always use Monro for my automotive maintenance and repair work. Dan and the boys are great; friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy, which is something I really value. They are also reasonably priced in comparison to other shops that I have been to. Also don’t forget to check the website because they always have specials.

The manager Dan Lupo is the man. He shops for the best prices and gives you options and ranges on anything you need for your vehicle. If i don't have to I wouldn't bring my vehicle anywhere else.

So rude every step of the way just to get a simple oil change DO NOT RECOMMEND.made marks about my parking when I came in, lied about pricing, etc.etc.

I have 3 cars and I take all of them have to Monro in Wappingers. Dan (the manager) and his crew are amazing. Today I took my 2012 Hyundai Sonata there for an oil change. The mechanic saw I had a two issues that needed to be addressed. He and Dan showed me the problems and explained to me the solution. One of them had to do with my tires. My passenger rear tire was literally shredded. It wasn’t noticeable from the outside, but it was noticeable from the inside. I almost had a heartache when I saw that tire and the rear driver was almost as bad. Dan explained to me what caused the tire to shred and the other starting to. Dan also said that he and crew could repair the issue. He was concerned about me leaving and having a blowout. So I ended up getting two new tires for the rear and Dan not only gave me an awesome deal, but he gave me two top of the line tires. I was so impressed with the fact that I wasn’t treated like a “stupid woman”, Dan and his crew showed me the problems, explained how it was caused and what the solution is and they answered all my questions. Because of this I’m going to have Monro fix the other issue the told me about. Monro in Wappingers Falls, NY is awesome and I recommend the, to everyone they are just great. Plus my cars are never dirty when they bring it out to me. Yes, these guys treat my vehicles like they are theirs. Kudos to Dan and crew at Monro.

This place is a complete waste of time and money. Do not come here for any state inspection, they told me my car would not register for the emissions test on a Saturday. I took my car directly home and on Monday I took it to Dutchess Dodge in Poughkeepsie. Passed on first test. So not only I had the inconvenience of driving miles out of my way wasting about 2 hours of my time, it cost me $11 for a re-inspection. Just the type of way I want to spend my days off!

Dan and Mike gave me the hookup. Got my car repaired same day. Parts needed to be ordered and they got em in a reasonable time. Will go back for my next repair job. Lifetime warranty on brakes and calipers? Where are you at Mavis?

Prices for repairs is pretty decent compared to a lot of other places I've been here a few times and I brung multiple cars to this place and they've done excellent work the only issue I have is the old guy with grey hair behind the desk believe his name is Dan needs to be more professional when talking to customers and employees seems to have an attitude problem all the time like he's disgusted with his job title I understand this is stressful job just like any other employer but you should treat people with respect so that's why you gets no five star.

Dan and Mike very courteous. Car was fixed sooner than expected. Listens and takes the time to show and explain. Very happy. Will be going back again.
