I've traveled 35 miles to get any type of exhaust work done on my Honda Accord because this Monroe Shop has the best welder in the upstate area. I reside in Rochester where dozens of exhaust shop (s) are available and quotes were double! Courteous staff and excellent work at a very reasonable price! Geneseo Monroe muffler is the best option for your car needs!

I went to Monroe 11/22 for a scheduled oil change appointment. I told the worker I heard a loud humming noise and thought I needed a new wheel bearing. When I picked my car up they said they did the oil change and there was nothing wrong with the wheel bearing, or anything else with my car. Since Thanksgiving was 11/24, I took my car to the dealership I bought it from on 11/25 and explained my situation. After working on my car for two days, I had to get new rear rotors and rear break pads, and new wheeling bearing on the right rear, AND an oil change because there was a leak because Monroe installed a Non factory Oil plug in my car two days prior. Overall extremely disappointed as I spent over 100$ on an oil change at Monroe and they could not even do it correctly. I am currently a full time college student, and drive my car everyday. I expressed my concerns at Monroe with the loud noise of my car, only to have the dealer immediately identify the problem.

Always a welcoming location. Options are reviewed with you when making decisions on tires etc.

I am not a regular customer and will not return because I do not live in this area, but when I had serious issues with my front brakes they got me into a last minute appointment. They got the parts delivered quickly and I was in and out in under 40 minutes. Everyone was very helpful and friendly and my car is doing great, I'd absolutely recommend Monro in Geneseo.

Good service but my husband got fired at the end of the day without warning or explanation. Not cool.

Over the weekend I had completely destroyed my back tire driving through Letchworth. Not only did Erin take care of me but the technicians went so far above and beyond that I wish I could give over 5 stars. Even though I live an hour away, I would only want to come to this location. These guys are the best.

They’re lucky i desperately needed an oil change and everywhere else was booked or else i would not have spent 100 dollars on an oil change. Which is ridiculous considering it’s the only service i needed. Just go to walmart where they’ll charge you 40-50 bucks for an oil change instead of this place that charges you double for one of the most simple and cheapest services

I bought a new set of tires a few months ago at another Monro location and recently ran over a nail, popping the tire. I called and Monro was able to get me in the same day to get my tire fixed (under warranty, which is awesome) at no cost! The process was super quick and only took minutes, and all of the employees, especially the one at the front desk, were super nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend getting tires here with a warranty because this has been a wonderful experience which made the problem free of stress, and I drive happy knowing that Monro will have my back, even if the roads don’t!

We were four hours from home, dropping our son off at college for the first time when we started having issues with our car. Turnes out we had bad calipers and wheel bearings among other stuff. The crew was amazing in a very stressful time for us. They even came and picked us up at our hotel when the car was done. I won't say that it wasn't very pricy but the service was amazing. I highly recommend monro auto service in Geneseo

Alexander did a great job notifying me that the time slot I signed up for wasn’t available saving me a trip (20minute drive), and was able to get me into a better time slot that fit my schedule. Definitely reccomend

I had taken my car to get checked on Thursday July 7th for a noise my car was making plus my check engine light being on. I also explained the noise my car would while I turned the wheel and how it pushes more to one side. He comes back and tells me what needs to be fixed and I’m good to drive the car. I come back next day to get an oil change, again no one say anything wrong or if they did said nothing. I drive home normally with my three kids, I turn on my road and abouts to park at my place when my car falls thankfully no car was behind me but it was still a bit scary. I get out and look and to my surprise my ball joint broke. Imagine if this would have happened on a busy road, theirs a lot of semis where I live. My children and my life were put in danger because two mechanics looked underneath my car but not one noticed the worn ball joint. Not only did you put my children’s and I life in danger you have now left me with no means of transportation.

Friendy good work but charge 3x what the part actually costs, Geneseo has a courtesy transport but wont take you to lakeville

A couple of months ago, I was in Geneseo from out of town for the weekend. During the trip, I noticed I had a nail in one of my tires. I went into Monro on a Sunday morning hoping for the best. Frank and his team took care of me. They got me in in right away and plugged the hole and I was able to make it home safely. Two months later, the repair has held. Thank you for the expert care and customer service.

While they have very kind guys that work there. I have had far too many issues when taking my car to ANY Monroe shop for that matter. My biggest issue is when you take your car in and ask for ALL fluid levels to be checked. They tell you they were done. Take it to a manufacturing service shop a month later. Only to find out MY TRANSMISSION WAS SUPER LOW ON FLUID AND I DO NOT HAVE A LEAK! Next time when someone asks to check ALL fluid levels.they do mean ALL of them! And if you for some reason you cant. Just be honest with the customer and tell them. I am sure they would gladly take it and get done elsewhere rather than their transmission dying on them! Or almost dying on them like mine.

Unprofessional. Cancelled an appointment for an inspection without notice and then laughed in my husband's face when we tried to make another a couple days later.

Easy to make appointments on the website and was in and out about 20min. Will definitely use their services again

Guy was really rude, shaking his head at questions pertaining to why I was there yep I left immediately, also their prices are ridiculous. Go to Weis automotive located close to byrne dairy. They're honest and very affordable. In fact, Weis is so much more cheaper than monroe and more trustworthy that u will be scratching your head as to how these other places take advantage of u. GO TO WEIS AUTOMOTIVE. U will be happy u did.

I discovered I had a flat tire while out shopping with my kids. I called Walmart - totally booked. Called Mavis - 1-2 hour wait. Called Monro, spoke to Mason, told me to come on it and they would take a look at it. So glad I did. Mason helped me at the counter and throughout the process, he was super friendly and kept me updated on the progress on the tire. He explained what had to be done, gave me options, didn’t pressure me when I chose the cheaper option. Another thing I really appreciated it is that they talked to me like a human being when most shops talk to me in a condescending way, because I’m a female, even though I have a pretty good understanding of vehicles. The manager, I didn’t catch his name, billed me out and he was also very friendly. Even though I live 20 minutes from this location and have multiple auto shops in my town, I will definitely make the drive for more service from this Monro. Thank you again!

I had my winter tires shipped directly from Tire Rack to Monro. Easy enough to make an appointment. I dropped my car off and Corey was nice & professional. Answered my questions. I appreciated the courtesy inspection. They called me when my car was done. Corey also put air in my mom's tires for free. I would go back.

Todd, the manager at the Geneseo, NY location is honest and trustworthy. I've been going for a few years and will continue to keep going back!

Absolutely bad experience. Took 35 minutes to do my oil change, then another 15 minutes of sitting there waiting to pay because the guy had no idea what he was doing. My oil change took so long because the first guy that did it messed it up so they had to redo it. Not satisfied at all. And now my car stinks and is smoking so I called them and they said they spilt oil on the motor.

After being told that my old f150 needed a complete brake overhaul to the tune of $2700.00, I got a second opinion from a reputable local garage and found out it had new lines, new calipers, new pads, and the rotors while not new were still fine. It only needs new emergency brake line. Avoid this place!

Had a bad tire and they took me right in even though they were busy. One of the workers stayed late just to help. These guys are great!

Justin and his crew are top-notch. I have never been taken care of like this. I am not a mechanic, nor am I mechanically inclined. Justin told me I needed many costly repairs- and I was in disbelief, as my car drives fine! Well, I took the car to my brother-in law who is also a mechanic (but too busy to work on my vehicle) and he confirmed that what Justin said was correct - the car was unsafe! Well, I always turn to the person that DIAGNOSED my problems: Justin! Now my car is fixed, and I have a national warranty behind all the repairs- if my car has any more issues with the repairs- they can be taken to any Monro Muffler OR Mr. Tire nationally! I can now take my family on road trips SAFELY! Justin saved our lives and our Summer!

Absolutely terrible. Never had a bad experience here till today. Went to get my 2018 car inspected and they failed it because of “tire dry rot”. Just got a second opinion, not a drop of “dry rot” in sight. Trying to con a young guy outta $600 on new tires that aren’t needed. Screw this place, honestly. Lost my business:)

I've been to a lot of mechanics over the years with this car. At this point I don't think I'll go anywhere else! If I am having an issue with my car they are able to get me in, even if it's last minute sometimes, and help me find a solution that fits into my budget. It's comforting to know that they truly care about the safety and well being of their customers over anything else.

The other day I took my car to this location for a pretty standard job, but ran into a an issue that was quite a bit more money than I prepared for. I worked with Justin and he went above and beyond to ensure that the work could be affordably completed. I will take my vehicle to this location moving forward.

I called today panicking because my car was making a noise and I have a long drive to work and was nervous. I called and spoke to Justin. He let me know that they were busy today but as long as I could drop it off and leave it, they would get to it today. My car was looked at and repaired in just a few hours. His customer service was amazing. Now I'm safe again driving and he will have a customer going forward. Thank you so much!

Worse place ever to get your car fixed. Got new breaks and they went out a month later and they want me to pay more to get it refitted.

Took my car in for new tires, they lost the center cap from one of my wheels and didn’t put valve caps on. I didn’t even get a call back to tell me that they couldn’t find the missing center cap. Evidently I should take my car somewhere else if I want it back in one piece.

Always polite, and pretty busy. They manage to squeeze me in for an oil change and inspection during a busy late-afternoon Saturday. They also were able to get me in the following weekend for an in-cabin air filter change at a very reasonable cost. Never try to sell me something I don't need, always explain anything that might need to be done. My dad's a mechanic, so I really appreciate it when someone doesn't try to overwhelm me with jargon to up the sale. They do what you ask, if they can and keep costs reasonable.

I’ve been coming to this shop for years; and though I’ve dealt with a variety of mechanics and supervisors; I’ve been quite satisfied with the service I’ve had.

Monroe has worked on all three cars I’ve owned in the past 30 years.

Even having had work done in other states; Monroe has been good. Once in a while, I’ve run into a cranky mechanic; but in 30 plus years, that’s to be expected.

I keep my cars for as long as possible and currently have a vehicle with high mileage; 260,000 and still counting.

Once in a while, I run into funky problems that aren’t “run of the mill”. I’ve always had good luck at Monroe with mechanics willing to take the time to figure out not so common offenders of odd issues; (like recently - my lug nuts just kept coming loose - and for not the usual culprits). The mechanic figured it out, explained what the problem was and showed me why it was happening. All when the dealership was clueless!

Granted, driving an older car; things wear out; repairs can be pricey; but Monroe (and the Geneseo shop in particular) has been fair to give me as many discounts as they can. So, I’ll keep coming back here.

I stopped for an oil change to save time and, while my tires and brakes do have some wear, was told my car would not pass inspection if it were inspected today. I was also told that my tire could come apart when driving and cause an accident. Having bought a factory certified used car in January, this was surprising. After taking it to the dealership, they said there was wear, but nothing that needed emergency replacement. In fact, they said that given the mileage I drive, I could plan for replacement in the spring. I spent a week worried that my car was going to have a tire explode when driving. My dealership does not work on commission and I have worked with them for a decade, so I more than trust their opinion. I just tried to fit in an oil change between other appointments at Monro. I am disappointed that it seems this business takes advantage of scaring women who may not know as much about vehicles and are depending on their expertise. It's a lesson to me to go back to my dealership and not Monro - otherwise I would be spending around $800 to replace tires and brakes that have months of use left.

Jason the manager was phenomenal. Everything from the way the phone was answered, to the work done, to the check out was excellent. We had an emergency situation and were taken right in and well taken care of.

I had broken down and been towed to a nearby competitor. They were too busy to be bothered to install my spare (a 10 minute job) at 4: 00 pm as they were closing at 5: 00 pm. I live 170 mile east of Geneseo and needed to get home to pick my daughter at the airport. I noticed Monro was open & took a chance & had my vehicle towed there. Justin was extremely busy but somehow got me in, installed my spare & got me on my way to be to the airport on time. Excellent customer service,! From this point on I am a loyal Monro customer. Thank you again.

We had an emergency while traveling and jason and his crew took superb care of us-fitting us in between their regular scheduled customers to get us back on the road.i could not have asked for better service; i am sorry i cannot be a regular customer.

The service here is fantastic. I feel like a valued customer every time I come in and the workers are always friendly and helpful to me, that is really my main reason for coming here versus other places. I’ve also never had to wait a long time any time I come in for an oil change. The service is quick, high quality, and efficient. I would recommend going here!
