Manager John attended to me right away. Took my car in for inspection. Spoke to me several times about various topics and progress on my car. Very friendly.

Hands down, the best place in Camillus/Fairmount to bring your vehicle. I went in for an oil change, inspection and tire rotation. It was easy to schedule an appointment. The prices are VERY fair. They are busy and successful because they operate with honesty and integrity. They are the best in town at what they do. The manager is a class act and told me he had been there for 20 years! Nothing beats experienced leadership. Best of all, they are veteran friendly and that means a lot to me. They have my business for life! If you want great service, honest work, and peace of mind, go to this Midas!

Highly recommend this place. Upfront, HONEST and fair. Had an AC leak and John, the manager, took me under the vehicle to show and explain the issue, along with the options for repair. There were a few issues with the fix, although not the fault of the mechanic, and the job took longer than originally planned. John called to keep me updated and ensure me that it would be done right. This was much appreciated! The hardest thing about the place is finding a parking spot at this location because it's always quite busy.

Can’t say enough good things about this Midas, and especially about John. Stopped in on my way back to Buffalo, intending to buy tires because my tire pressure light had come on for the second time in a couple of weeks, but John looked at my tires and said I didn’t need any. He put my car on the lift and resealed all the little valve stems and sent me back to the thruway. And he didn’t charge me a thing! This is that rarity: an honest auto repair shop. Thank you, John!

Lousy. Waited for 1 hour and 40 minutes for a simple nys inspection. Had an appointment. Finally got sick of waiting and left. Not the first time this has happened but definitely the last at midas.

Cannot leave a review for my local Midas on Court St in Binghamton because they "closed abruptly". On 12/30 I needed front brakes and rotors. Today my car was looked at for grinding brakes and was told that Midas never replaced the rotors to begin with. Not to mention, "clips" and "hardware" was missing from the pads as well. As a result, I needed to get the same alleged work done 5 months later. I will never use Midas for any service ever again and have already contacted their customer service. As a parent, this is beyond alarming.

I've been going to this location for years. I have never had a problem with any repairs made by them. They also don't attempt to talk you into unnecessary expensive repairs. They simply tell you what you need NOW, and what you can put off to make it affordable. Great technician and the manager, Dennis is fantastic.

Great service. They only focus on what you need and not what you have to have. They explain it to you very well in plain language. Most places you go, they tend to rip you off, but not Midas. I've been doing my business for the last 15 years.

Took my car in for an inspection. I knew my rear brakes had some issues, but I was hoping they would be good enough to pass just long enough so I could take care of them myself once the weather got warmer. Sadly, I was told that it would not pass due to their condition. Normally I wouldn't get anything other than an inspection at a chain car service place as they aren't exactly known to be trustworthy, but since I really needed the inspection done, I didn't have much of a choice. $500+ later, I have an inspection, but the rear brakes are still making a rubbing noise. I'm sure it's just the dust shield, but why would they let it leave their shop that way? Why not take care of the issue? I'm sure they test drove it after, I'm sure they heard the noise, but they let it go out that way? Staff were nice though and there doesn't seem to be any safety issue, and the pricing seems generally fair, so two stars for that.

I dropped my car off Thursday morning at 8am because I need new breaks I told the guy that’s what I needed along with an oil change so I got a call Friday morning telling me I need my breaks done so I said I know that’s why I made an appointment for Thursday thinking I could just pick my car up Friday morning but nope that wasn’t the case so I called them at 1230 in the afternoon noon on Friday to see how long it would be for my car to be ready they told me another 1hr and 30mins so at that point I was like I will pick it up Saturday to me if I do the right thing and make appointment for one day I shouldn’t have to wait 2 days later to get my car if im waiting for it or it should be done the same day I make the appointment I get you want to do as much business as you can but if you can’t handle the online appointments maybe you shouldn’t take walk ins

Dennis & his crew are fantastic! I have been going to this Midas shop for years and every time the Customer service is exceptional as is the work they do.

I had a great experience with this shop — they did a vehicle inspection quickly/without any surprises & git me back in easily the next day for a tire alignment (after taking the time to show me what they say in terms of excessive wear starting to show on one of my newer Michelin tires). In my opinion, everything was very fair & trustworthy!

Really helped when in a pinch! Had a nail in my tire in this nasty snowy weather and they fixed it in a quick time and didn’t charge bc I had my little one in the car! Totally recommend!

They are a bit busy but that's only because they have loyal customers willing to come back to them and now I am one of them. From my experience now for new customers just be prepared leave your car and have them call you when it's ready. Excellent service.

My vehicle completely shut down on my way home from Syracuse. I had to pull off the road at an exit from 481. I then started calling my roadside assistance co. About 5 minutes later a very kind man stopped to see if I needed assistance. He tried to fix the car, but was unsuccessful to get it going again. Thought it might be alternator. Tow truck came, and towed it to Midas as the gentleman recommended the mechanic there, and as not being from Syracuse, I trusted his recommendation. It was 7: 30 at night, he called mechanic and told him we were going to leave car there and he could contact me in morning. Denny called me in the morning with an explanation of what was wrong and an estimate. Worked on car immediately, and it was completed the same day. I appreciated all the work completed and the caring of Denny. I highly recommend Midas on W Genesee St. In Syracuse

I went there to get my vehicle inspected even though there was a delayed due to so many inspections they needed to be done everything was professional and very satisfactory and I have a vehicle that is nice and current which makes me happy!

Made Appointment and given a time of between 10 and 12. Got there at 10, still waiting at 11. Took off and won't go back.

Where do you start besides saying I would highly recommend this auto repair shop. Everyone from the manager to the shop associates were great and highly friendly. I expected my SUV to have to stay overnight as fortunately/ unfortunately the struts and sway arms were original to the SUV (which is almost 17 years old). However no the repairs were completed quickly and prices discussed were exactly what I paid. There was no funny business at all and really appreciate that in an auto repair shop. You have earned my trust and business. Thank you!

The mechanics at Midas are always prompt, explain repairs in full detail (even for a layman lol), and phone service is perfect! Never disappointed by them, definitely golden service all around (see what I did there lol)

I have been going here since at least 2013. Dennis is the bomb! He is like the master of the Midas universe. He is kind, caring, thoughtful, honest, and one thing I really like is that he treats women and men all with the same respect and dignity. He is so down to earth and has a lot of wisdom. I will be so sad if/when he retires!

Josh and the others are also great (sorry I am bad at remembering everyone's names!) Every employee here is polite, kind, friendly, and a great mechanic. I'm convinced my car has reached 219K miles due to the great care, regular maintenance, and full synthetic oil changes I have always received from this Midas location.

They never do anything unnecessary, they always keep you informed of something that may be a problem, and advise you as to whether they believe it needs attention now, or later. They are also very reasonably priced as well.

Went for an inspection. Was done quickly and by very kind people. Didn't try to claim anything was broken or needed repair. Didn't try to take advantage of a young woman dropping off her car alone.

I spent $800 just for my car to break down a day later. The only thing they did was give me the most expensive breaks they had and messed up my power steering to where I had to pay another $280 to have properly fixed elsewhere. If i were you i would find a place that isnt just for the money.

I've never used this shop before So I thought I'd bring my car there through recommendation.had three bad sensors.these guys did great making sure everything was goodwith my car.and I know that prices can be expensive, it's a given but for what I paid the service matched.dennis and josh.will go back definitely for any future problems
