This store has been really great for us.followed the GM there from another business because Keith is honest, forthright and genuine and would never lie to anyone. Services there have been thorough and effective. We will continue to patronize this store as long as Keith remains at the helm.

The assistant manager Geo did a great job with his knowledge helping me with my vehicle. The gentleman here are quick and efficient. Excellent work done here!

Staff seemed to be under the influence, they are nothing but scam artists and on top of that they can't even put a tire on correctly, the owner blatantly lied about the cost of repair then took almost 3 times as long as he said it would take. I'd rather walk on broken glass and lemon juice before I ever go back to mavis

Had my 2019 subaru outback in for new rotors and pads, paid 650, they broke the ebake wire and lied about getting and fixing it,

Never called me back. Got stuck with a $500 bill because of their mistake.

Lairs

Took our vehicle to Mavis for a routine oil change. They overtightened the drain plug in the oil pan.
Mark (manager) said they would take care of the issue. (over 3 months ago)
We left the vehicle for the repair (Heli-Coil and new drain plug) Tech could not get the oil plug out.
We left the vehicle a second time, the 2nd technician was unsuccessful.
Then Mavis asked us to take vehicle to another local garage; they took a look at the problem and declined to fix it (suggested new oil pan)
Mavis sent a 3rd technician from Syracuse. Tech said we needed to take our vehicle to the Syracuse store for him to repair it. At this point we had no faith in Mavis's ability to complete the repair.
Mavis then asked us to collect quotes from different garages to replace the oil pan and they would pay for the repair.
We then collected estimates from 2 experienced garages and hand delivered them to Mavis.
We scheduled the repair with the closest local garage per Mavis's suggestion. They did a great job replacing the oil pan. (RIGHT THE FIRST TIME)
After the local shop completed the repair that Mavis caused, Mavis refused to pay for the completed service.
Auburn store says the issue is "with corporate" (zero accountability) They are a corrupt and dishonest company from the top down.
In summary Mavis calls on a small shop to bail them out. Then they do not pay the local shop that bailed them out!
The national corporation sticking it to the little guy that cleaned up their mess!

I made an Appointment on a Friday and when I got there they told me the tech went home. I rescheduled for Monday spent $900 on brakes and they forgot to bleed the brakes. I had to bring it back a third time. Will not be back in the future.

Mavis tires saved my trip, we were 4 hours short of our destination when we got a flat, the team there was so nice and got us in an out fast. I appreciated it so much, I recommend for any car needs you have!

Mark and the guys here are the best I only bring my vehicle here for service.they are very professional and know there way around vehicles better than anyone I know.

Mavis on Genesee st is the best place to go hands down! All of the employees are great! Every time I think about car problems I get anxiety however, when dealing with Mark and Keith they have made every experience amazing! Definitely suggest this store!

Randomly ended up at this Mavis after a mishap on I-90 bent a wheel. A friend called around to see which tire and wheel shops were open on Sunday morning. The manager, Keith, said they couldn't sell us a new wheel, but they would try to repair the damaged wheel.

In the end, the wheel couldn't be repaired. But Keith offered a solution. He had his employees check with a nearby salvage yard to find a matching wheel. After they made 2 trips to the salvage yard, a matching wheel was eventually found. Keith only charged me for mounting and balancing the tire.

Keith and his staff went above and beyond. We thought we were going to be stranded, but thanks to this Mavis location, we were back on the road in a couple hours.

This is the only place I'll ever go to for my car! The mechanics are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and always are fair about the work to be done and the pricing. I strongly recommend that you take your car there!

Once again, very pleased with the service for my vehicle at Mavis Tire in Auburn. Mark, the manager is very cordial. My vehicle was ready when promised. The waiting area is clean and roomy. I trust my vehicle to Mavis.

The team at Mavis Auburn is awesome. We had a screw in our tire. Drove directly to Mavis. They were extremely busy but were able to squeeze us in and do tire repair and oil change. I highly recommend them for their professionalism and efficiency!

I had driven off to work for the day, when I noticed my tire pressure was extremely low. Being that I had just filled them the day before, I took it straight to Mavis. The staff was pleasant, the repair was affordable, and the situation was resolved quickly.

Had 4 Tires bought, installed, balanced, aligned, with an inspection all done in no more than an hour. With some exhaust clean up.

Very impressed with both my experience at Mavis today and the experience my husband had over the weekend as well! They got my vehicle right in and got right to work on it. Timely and efficient! My bill was much less than originally anticipated as once they got to work they were able to do the work without having to replace the calipers after all! Came here twice this week for tires and inspection, everytime they get me right in no waiting ever. Excellent trustworthy service and the only place I will ever go from now on. Great place friendly staff

I was in the waiting room of this repair shop waiting for an alignment. While waiting one of the managers came out to an elderly gentlemen to tell him his car has failed inspection for uneven break wear. The manager went on to tell the gentlemen that it was going to be an extra 700.00 for the work plus the inspection and taxes. Your vehicle does NOT fail inspection for uneven break wear and this manager fully took advantage of this elderly man. I asked for my keys back and refused to let this company work on my vehicle. I then let the man know what they were doing and how they lied to him and left. DO NOT GO TO MAVIS TIRE AUBURN NY!

Went in for a NYS inspection and found out my front rotors and brake pads needed to be replaced in order to pass inspection. They took me out to my car to show me the problem instead of just telling me it needed to be done. Even though I was scheduled for just an inspection they were able to get the brake replacement done so that I was able to get my car inspected. I also ended up adding an oil change to the mix. Very accommodating and helpful. Will return for future services.
