Great staff, Tim, Angel and John were professional. They answered all my questions and provided great service. I highly recommend this location.

On June 28th, 2023, I brought my vehicle to this establishment upon noticing significant alignment issues after replacing shocks/struts. Regrettably, what I had anticipated to be a simple procedure turned into an elongated ordeal. Despite my initial optimism about the shop's expertise, I was profoundly let down by the lack of competence and professionalism demonstrated by their mechanics.

To my astonishment, I was compelled to return to your shop six times due to the consistent misalignment that persisted even after each visit. It was beyond infuriating to witness the significant time and effort wasted on my part, not to mention the considerable inconvenience caused by the subsequent visits required for a simple alignment procedure.

Most distressingly, during these repeated visits, I discovered that the mechanic assigned to handle my vehicle had an inadequate understanding of how to adjust the bolts necessary for the alignment process. Now, I certainly do not claim to be an expert in this field; however, it was my responsibility to guide the mechanic step-by-step through the necessary adjustments, which he seemed entirely oblivious to. This situation is utterly unacceptable, as it should be expected that an alignment shop would employ professionals who possess the knowledge and skills pertinent to their trade.

Moreover, such recurring issues and the ignorance displayed by their mechanic have led me to question the overall standards and competence of their establishment. It is evidently clear that the alignment service I received fell far below the basic expectations of a paying customer. Consequently, I am left feeling exploited, undervalued, and utterly dissatisfied with the entire experience.

After this atrocious experience, I tried contacting the customer service to explain what had occurred and unsurprisingly, nobody has answered any of my emails.

The guys here are the best. They helped me get in and out and made sure my tires we all good to go. Even ordered my new tires from there. Carlos, John, and Thomas definitely put their best foot forward with customer care.

Great shop i came in for an oil change and the mechanic found that my brake pads were almost metal to metal i ended up getting new pads and rotors. I was in and out of there in no time. This is my new go to spot for anything related to my car.

Trey and John were really a great help to get my car done. I got two tires and front wipers changed and checked my breaks. They were really courteous, kind and honest.

Great price and quick oil change. Also pointed out tires badly needed to be changed, which probably saved me a lot of hassle later on when they would have blown out.

There was a miscommunication amongst staff on my appointment for oil change but I understand that can happen when there’s a lot going on.

Trey rescheduled my appointment for the next two days and kept it.

The district manager Chris, Carlos and John were great! They took outstanding care of us. Carlos made a professional recommendation regarding our break pads without being pushy. He didn’t make us feel like he was just trying to get us to spend money like most places. John took it upon himself to make sure we were taken care of in a timely manner. Chris more than fixed what was previously negative experience. We had a great experience here and appreciate their customer service.

Horrible. 5 hours just to get a quote.workers take break at the same time. Which makes no sense.so for an hour no one is working on a car.poor management skills

I was about to get in my rig to leave for work and saw my passenger rear tire was completely flat. A neighbor helped me by putting the spare on but the spare was leaking fast. I drove 8 minutes to mavis and it was nearly flat. Thankfully they got me in right away, rotated my tires specifically how I requested and the prices seemed to be on par with what I anticipated for two wrangler tires.
I’m pleased with them even though I did have to wait for like 20 minutes because a guy was on the phone and he was alone at the front desk. But not a huge deal as they were all really nice and super helpful. Kindness goes a long way and a lot of businesses fail there imo. So I give ‘em a 10/10:)
also I’m very neurotic about my bookkeeping on my vehicle expenses and they give a very detailed print out receipt—love it. Something I never got *from another place—not mavis* when I had my brakes replaced in the fall, unfortunately.

I’d also like to note that I was unable to pick up my rig after the few hours because I had to work, they let me keep it overnight and I picked it up the next morning. I was grateful!

JOHN AND TREY were very transparent and very efficient. Extremely pleasant customer service and will definitely recommend.

We had a flat in one of our front tires and ran over here hoping they could squeeze us in same day. Despite having a lot of cars there they were able to get it switched and took time to explain sizing, treads etc. Couldn’t be happier, I’d definitely recommend them!

First time getting my tires from this place. I stopped in to just check a price on a set of 4 tires for my work van but ended up purchasing fhem on the spot. Service and staff were great. Trey helped me get in and out fairly quickly. He has great people skills and made me feel like I was a long time customer. Definitely will go back when the next tires are needed.

Terrible service. I went to get two new tires installed. Was told to leave car there and they will call me when it’s ready. Never heard from them and the store was about to close. I went back. They told me they was wondering who’s car that was. They told me it’s ready. I check to see if they changed the tires. They were not changed. Take your money somewhere else. Not worth it here.

Worst customer experience I've had in a long time. Rude and unprofessional is an understatement. Would not do business there or recommend this place. I'm not speaking of Mavis as a complete organization. Just reference to this location. Avoid!

John, Trey and Angel did their thing! I brought my car into the shop for new tires and John had my car in the bay within minutes. Shoutout to Trey and Angel for putting brand new tires on some new wheels for me. Keep up the good work!

I’ve been to other Mavis shops and have never had any bad experiences. This location however, is by far the worst tire shop I have been to, very unprofessional. I went In to buy and install 4 new tires as well as an alignment and speed balance. When I went to pick up my car, they didn’t even put air in the tires they just installed, but I let them know and they were accommodating and put the air in. I drive off and hear this horrible squeaking noise that I did not have when I dropped My car in the morning. I go Back and ask if they can check as to why my car is making this noise now. Right away I’m told the noise was there before that all three mechanics heard it in the morning, yet there was only one other mechanic in the morning. They told me that they already completed all the work on my car and nothing more could be done, that my sale was final, if I wanted to get it checked I’d have to wait till the end of the day. To make matters worse the manager trey tells me I cant wait near the Register and that I needed to either wait outside or wait inside my car. After i just spent over 600 at this place, this is no way to treat a customer nor do business. But that’s not all, once I go Over 50 miles my car still shakes. Horrible experience, don’t go here and waste your time. I wish I read these reviews before hand!

Edgar was great, the tech was good at the installation but I did notice my wheels were scuffed and dirty, I would recommend giving the wheels back cleaned to the customer.

I have a 2021 tesla got a slow leak went to tesla cost me 400 got another slow leak same tire cost me less then 25 bucks great fast service will be back to buy tires or whatever i need in the future

They put front tires on wrong. I went to the BMW dealer to get oil change and they showed me that the front tires were on wrong I'm so pissed

Always a pleasure going to Mavis. Store manager Edgar Perez is always double checking and making sure my truck is completely safe and working properly. The mechanic who worked on my truck this time knew exactly what needed to be done to make sure my Brakes were 100%. Highly recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised of their excellent customer service. After I made an online appointment, they got back to me instantly to advise me the delayed arrival of ordered tires and reschedule the appointment. This was the most prompt response I had in years living in the Bronx. When I brought my car to change four tires today, Eric took less than five minutes to take in my car. At the time of payment he was so kind to explain the receipt in details to me, a senior citizen with the deficiency in English.

Got a set of tires there that I was told were rated 80k n didnt even have 10k on them n theyre balding already. I feel they could do better by their customers.
And their prices arent cheap. There are many other places I could of gone to had I known the quality of the tires they were pushing were Chinese junk!
Oh, dont send yr wife there by herself.
My friend sent his wife for a simple break job n they upsold her a complete breaks n rotors w/caliper job that werent needed.
She not knowing any better got had. Needless to say my friend was livid!
They need to stop taking advantage of unknowing unmechanically inclined customers.

Great experience here. Buying tires can be tough, with all of the options available. Initially I had planned on going through my wholesale club, BJ's, but that required me to drive about 45 minutes north. Mavis is only about 20 blocks away from my house in the Bronx.

When booking my appointment online, I found that Mavis was only a few dollars more ($600 v $630) which was more than worth the difference in distance. I made my appointment for 11 AM on a Saturday morning. I received a call shortly after from John, confirming the appointment. I did NOT have to put any money down or even enter any payment information at the time of booking the appointment, which I thought was great. I understand that Mavis is taking a risk here.by ordering the tires while risking the customer not showing up.

There is a small area (lot) to park which only holds about 5 cars, so if that is full, you may have to find street/metere parking, which shouldn't be a problem. I arrived at 11 AM and expected to be there for a few hours. There are a lot of shops in the area, so I planned ahead and decided to go for a haircut and some other errands. The check in process was simple, they only confirmed the information I entered when making my appointment, came outside to inspect the tires and took my keys. The shop is neat and well kept. There is a front counter area and a waiting area in the back with a few chairs, and roku-enables TV. There is also a bathroom there as well. I was a little disappointed to see that my car finally went into the work area at around 1 PM, 2 hours after my appointment time. My car was finally ready at 3 PM.so a total of 4 hours from the appointment time to leaving the shop. As far a car-maintenance goes. 4 hours for work on a mid-day Saturday isn't the worst.but considering it was done on an appointment basis and that the tires were already there at the shop. I think they should have been closer to 2 hours.

During the waiting time, John and Tim? ! Were great company. I learned a lot (and they were willing to educate me) about tires and we even had some great non-auto conversations.

Overall, Mavis exceeded my expectations. All staff: John, Tim and the work-area workers were all knowledgable, honest and patient. The prices there are very reasonable and in the end, my bill was even less than expected. I highly recommend this Mavis location and ask anyone looking for tires to consider Mavis instead of their competitors: Costco, BJs, STS, Walmart. The only pro I see with the wholesale clubs is that they offer free lifetime reblanaing and rotations. Mavis does NOT seemingly offer this.

After the visit, I drove about 50 miles and the tires (Falken Ziex) felt great. The car felt very grounded. There was a significant difference in the ride. The real test will probably be when it rains or snows.but so far.so good!

Went in for a wheel alignment. Unfortunately the mechanic called out sick. So had to reschedule. Tried another Mavis shop but alignment machine was not working. I've had this issue before. Eventually I'll be searching for another shop.
