Very professional place, greeted nicely by Bruno & Larry, the crew is excellent & fixed my tire, I give Mavis a 10 star rating everyone should go there for servicing their car.

I came in to the store with my tire light illuminated. I was on my way to a meeting. The staff were tremendous getting me in and fixing a tire sensor in 20 minutes! I am so grateful.

Came in to have my lights check and asked them a favor to change my wiper as well. Without hesitation Bruno and Larry are wuickly acting on it. They are the best! Thats why ever i lived further now I still come here to have my car fixed.

Failed inspection because of leaking rear shock absorber, cracked drive belt and brake fluid needed to be replaced. Seriously? NYS DMV should know about this. I would have gladly fixed all that but telling me I needed to fix these in order to pass inspection was an outrageous lie. Used them to replace tire sets several times due to convenient location now will be looking for another shop.

This Mavis is always a pleasure to come to. Bruno is awesome and always goes out of his way to help anyway he can! I didnt even have to wait long!

I brought them my car for a simple state inspection. They took 6+ hours and never called me once it was ready. To add to that they never actually did the inspection and let me leave without mentioning it at all. If I hadn’t checked the sticker I wouldn’t have known at all. Would not recommend coming here for even the simplest of service.

The wait time is ridiculous, they have no concept of giving people an accurate time. Waited 45 minutes as told only to be told it would be an additional 30 minute wait.um, people have to work in order to pay for these things.unbelievable.

Reliable and trustworthy location. I never feel that I am pushed into unnecessary work. Larry, the location manager, is very helpful. Been bringing all my cars here for at least the past 10 years.

Was reluctant to come here bc I thought it would be more expensive and I'd wait forever for oil change. But I was impressed.the tire rotation was even free. Got me out of there in 45 min.

Don't go here anymore. I've been a customer for more than 15 years at Mavis Smithtown with 3 cars. Tires.inspections, oil changes. They used to be great. Bruno always helped me out and got me in and out quick. Now the other desk guy Steve wouldn't pass my truck inspection if i didn't buy new wipers and sticker was already off. Next i brought in a 2019 Subaru and they wouldn't pass it if i didn't replace the tires. Granted they had some wear but not down to the tabs. I can't trust the service I get there anymore and will no longer be a customer. It's too bad because the place was really convenient. I'd give a zero stars but it's not an option

Great service. Came in with a flat. They fixed it right away. I've been buying tires here for three cars for about 18 years. I get them balanced and alignments. Mikey was great and so now is Bruno. They keep their machines calibrated so IT BALANCES THE TIRES perfectly. No vibration at all! Everytime!

The 2 employees saw me struggling to fix a snow blower tire that came off the rim during the blizzard at their air pump station. They had me come inside and asked if I wanted their help. They fixed it free of charge. I couldn’t say thank you enough. Really helped me out. They earned my future business.

I can't stand the service here anymore. I've been coming here for 15 years. The service used to be good but for at least the past 5 years it has gone down the drain. Their quality of work is horrendous now. Everytime I buy new tires there is always a problem. Last time I had to call the regional manager and the problems were still never corrected. I've had to go fill my tires every 2 weeks. Now 2 weeks ago I bought 2 new tires and one of them lost 12 psi. I am now back at the Mavis on Maple who have proven to be much, much better. I have a call out to the regional manager again. This is absolutely unacceptable especially since tires are their speciality.

In addition they're always trying to sell you things you don't need. Avoid this location and go 4 mins down the road to the Maple Ave shop. In addition, the main street shop is always busy because they're right in town.

Beware of this shop!
My son brought his pickup in for tires. While in the shop they damaged his tailgate. After denying they had done so, a review of the security footage confirmed that they backed the truck into a pole. They paid for the repair, which was the good part. I guess to retaliate, they then reported their screw up as an accident, so it would appear on his car fax report. Terrible way to do business.

Awful, awful, awful wait time; even with an appointment prepare to waste your whole day here. One of the workers even told me that this is one of their worst locations and that they had called him in from a different Mavis to help try to keep this shop running smoothly. Make a hard pass on this place folks.

Had to have my car towed to Mavis I’m Smithtown.they were closing shortly but the gentleman brought my car in, repaired it and I was on my way. Highly recommend them!

Save yourself and do not go to this location!
I made an appointment online for NY inspection two days prior for 9 am. Arrived and was told it would be 1-2 hours before my car was ready. I checked in at 11: 30 to find my car untouched in the lot, and was told it would be another hour. I came back again at 12: 30, to find it still sitting there, uninspected. There was no apology and no attempt to remedy the situation. Horrible customer service. After 3+ hours I took my car back, went to the better, more professional Mavis down the street at 393 Middle Country Road to have it inspected in a timely manner. Do not come to the 222 location.

To top it off, I received an email that said “Sorry you missed your appointment. ” No. My car sat there for 3+ hours. I did not miss my appointment, you missed out on my business.

These guys had my Mercedes for exactly 1 hour to put on a new tire and when I picked it up my hood was dented so I asked them to help me and they said they would furnish me with a video of what happened during that hour inside their shop but of course they never sent me the video after 3 weeks of hounding them for it, which means they're guilty and they don't want to help me pay for the damages. Caesar, Bruno and Larry all lied to me.don't go to this tire shop there's many others to choose from

Good customer service. Not always accurate with their estimates for completing work. But work is done well.

Ty to Steve for being 100 percent honest.
Toyota dealership across the street TWICE this year lied and said i need front end breaks.
Mavis has always been straight up.
When I do need service.they do a great job.

I had a wonderful experience yesterday. I dropped my car off at 3: 30 for rear brake pads. They told me my car would be completed before the end of the day 6pm. My car was ready by 5: 30. All employees were helpful & polite. I would recommend Mavis on Main Street In Smithtown to anybody.

The Smithtown Mavis near the corner of Edgewood dr has the best crew, especially Bruno. I never feel I'm being ripped off or sold something I don't need and that's alot coming from me. I needed some work done on my 2012 Mazda3, almost $700.00 and I feel safe and confident the job will be done properly like the work done by them in the past. I recommend this Mavis for any work your car might need that they do.

I brought my car to the Mavis Smithtown to get a tire plugged. My father in law told me they plug tires at no charge. While I was waiting I watched them plug another tire and not charge the person for doing it. The called me in to the garage to try and explain to me that the bolt in my tire was large and I needed a new tire. I said no thank you just plug it, I can’t afford a new tire with everything that is going on, being out of work for the last 2 months. They plug the tire and I hand the guy who brought my car out a $20 bill as a tip. I go inside to ask how much 2 new tires would be since I will be in need of them soon. The guy tells me the prices and then hands me a bill for $21.71. I paid the bill and left and will never ever be going back to a Mavis tire again.

I’ve never had a problem at any Mavis location, but this one is exceptionally good and close to where I live. I will continue to bring all my cars here for tires and service.

RIP OFF! I would avoid this place at all cost if I were you. I took my wife's car in for an inspection and they said she would need new brake pads and rotors on both front and back and it would not pass inspection and it was about 700 and change for the job.needless to say I followed my gut and had them put it back together for a second opinion else where. I took it to an AUTHORIZED dealer and they passed it and said front brake still had life and rear brakes were fine. If you want to spend more money go here but I reccomend not going here ever.

Always have a great experience at this Mavis. They are always so friendly to me and work very fast. They always finish work on my car within the day and are very good about calling and keeping me informed with my car. Love it here!

Felt like I needed an alignment. Joe who is pleasant and knowledgeable, checked it and showed me the results which showed my car was out of alignment. He had me back on the road in no time. Not since Carl was a manager have I felt this comfortable at this Mavis. Thanks Joe.

Stay Away from this shop!
Took my car in for new tires and was sold on a wheel alignment. Car drove straight prior to alignment now pulls to left. They also overinflated new tires by 5psi each.how does a tire shop not know how much air goes into a tire? Went to a different Mavis to redo alignment.all is well now.
