Mariela did an amazing job on my deva cut. I’ve always struggled to find someone that can cut curly hair, so I was a bit skeptical at first, but she put me at ease immediately. She patiently listened to my requests and took the time to explain to me everything she was doing before she went ahead and did it. When I asked her for her opinion on what would look best, she gave it to me but also explained why. She also gave me tips on how to style my hair and gave me product recommendations. I will definitely be going back!

Had a great experience at Mariela's Salon. I usually describe my hair as confused - it will take on whatever shape it ends up in. On a good day, it's wavy. On a really good day, it's curly. But lately it's been a long, hot mess, because I hadn't had a decent hair cut in two years. But, I walked out of that salon with curls I hadn't seen in years. I didn't have to wait, the price was reasonable, everyone was lovely. Great experience! Thank you!

I came to this salon for the first time for a curly cut and it was amazing. Everyone was so kind and Mariella was very knowledgeable and professional. She listened to what I wanted and also gave recommendations that I loved. She was patient and was not rushing through my haircut, which makes the experience great.
She gave me recommendations on products to use on my hair and how to take care of it. I would definitely recommend anyone who needs a curly cut to come to Mariella’s Salon, you will not be disappointed!

Mariella is the sweetest kindest hair dresser I've ever been to. I've been going to her salon for many years now for extensions highlights different color hair every time every style is always on point, she's done my daughter hair for her wedding 7years ago and her whole bridle party gorgeous everyone looked, highly recommend her salon to anyone she also does men's hair styles as well. She going to do my hair for my son's wedding in 2 weeks. Can't wait to see the results, I know it's going to look fabulous.

Got my first Deva cut and it was an amazing experience from beginning to end. I love the transformation of my hair and the care that was put into it by Mariela. She is so sweet and really cares about your needs. Deva cuts for curly hair is way different than regular hair cuts. If you have curly hair I strongly recommend getting a Deva cut, especially from Mariela!

I absolutely love this salon. Not only is Mariella so friendly and nice. She is a true professional. She knew exactly how to cut and style my curly hair. I love the way my hair came out and I look forward to going back to her in the future for another curly haircut.

I got a deva curly cut from Mariella and it was amazing. It was my first time getting a cut like this for my 2C hair. She really took her time and cut each strand so precisely. I showed her a few pictures as inspiration and she perfectly captured it with the cut and style. She even gave me tips on how to style my bangs and get more volume! The atmosphere was so friendly and staff was great. I would 100% go again.

Dont listen to any negative reviews because my experience here was BEYOND AMAZING! I cannot even fathom how this lovely woman does get 5 stars all around for her being so passionate and caring about her work and clients. She did wonders for my wavy/curly hair and legit transformed it in one visit. I left feeling like a new person. I have limp/fine hair and she gave it so much more volume with the Deva haircut (1st time doing it and I'm hooked). Love the products she used and the way it came out so bouncy and curly after diffusor, i’m inlove wit the results and she is the only one I will ever trust with my hair. Today was my first day at Mariella's Salon. I have natural curly hair and wanted a jet black color with straightening. Michelle did a wonderful job! The ambiance of the salon was very calm and clean. I had a great time at this salon! Thank you Mariella!

Went in the early morning for the Deva curly cut and the results were amazing! My curls were alive and the bounciest I've seen in ages. Mariella showed me the products she used to style my hair which I will be purchasing on my own. Will definitely return! I highly recommend this place.

Michelle did my hair color and it came out beautifully. Mariella cut my curls and she took so much patience and care. She recommended products I could buy and where to purchase them as well. It was a great experience.

This place is amazing. Definitely need an appointment. She has a great personality, always with a smile you can tell she loves what does. She does Diva hair, hair extensions, weddings, color color, Multi color highlights, color correction, hair cuts and Botox for hair. I might be missing some of the others services she provides but these are the ones I have experienced in the 26 years I've been going to her. Very much recommended.

Do not go to this salon! I made an appointment 2 weeks ago for a deva cut and the appointment was confirmed the day before. I walk in and I’m told there is no appointment and there is nothing they can do for me. I spoke to the owner and told her that I spoke to her specifically about my daughters hair and she remembered the conversation but said there was no appointment. Very rude and unprofessional. I told her I traveled very far for this appointment and she said there is nothing she can do. She was very rude and unprofessional in front of my child.

Excellent service. I got a curly cut by Mariella, I have 3c curls. She was truly wonderful, gave me a beautiful haircut, and taught me how to style my hair. I cannot wait to come back to do highlights on my hair! Highly recommend her services.

Charged $150 for a “devacut” but I left with wet hair that wasn’t styled. Had to go home, dry and style it myself. What a rip off

Mariella is very accommodating. She’s a great hair stylist. I have been going to her for years for keratin hair extensions. She gets booked fast. She opens at 7 am. ️

Mariella is AMAZING! I go all life to a curly hair salon, and still, no one ever treated my curls with so much love and care to each one of them like Mariella did.
You can see in the photos the before, with the hair band, then in the process after the Deva cut, and all the after, with a happy jumping curls, all shining from the cut & color that Mariella did to me.
I'm definitely sticking to her to maintain my color and healthy curls, as she 1000% knows the best how to take care, treat & love curly hair.

Mariella made me feel so comfortable. She knew exactly what to do to correct my previous haircut and used the Deva cut method to frame the shape of my face. She took her time and answered all my questions. I want to color my hair there too! 100% service! I am very happy with my new haircut.

I had Botox for hair

I paid $200 for Botox hair treatment to get rid of the frizz and after 2 weeks my hair looked worst than before even if I paid extra $40 for Botox shampoo and conditioner.
Horrible!

The appointment was very easy to make & i had a wonderful, comfortable experience. Mariella & everyone else is very kind & they worked together to give me an amazing haircut!

I wish I had read the previous comments about lack of professionalism prior to booking my appointment.

I scheduled a haircut here. I call twice the morning of my appointment, but no response.

I call a third time and they pick up. I explain i wasn’t going to be able to make it for a 1pm appointment and if they would be available later in the afternoon or if we should reschedule for another day. The stylist reassured me it would be fine to come in around 2pm.

I pay for an Uber and arrive at 2: 10, excited for my curly cut. When I get there I’m surprised to find that she’s in the middle of another haircut and tells me she “might have to reschedule my appointment if her 3pm comes in. ” She then gives me the option of waiting 50 minutes to see if her 3pm shows up bc “she cancels all the time. ”

I ask her to reach out to the client and confirm if they’re coming because i wasn’t going to wait almost an hour if i wasn’t going to get the service i came for anyways. She confirms the 3pm is coming and offers to reschedule. Obviously, I declined.

Why would you tell me to come in only to ask me to reschedule as soon as i get there? Terribly frustrating and a waste of my time.

I couldn't be happier with my experience at Mariellas Salon! I went for a deva curl cut, and wow! I've never had someone tend to my curls with such patience and thorough attention. Mariella is definitely a master of curls! With the ongoing covid situation, I felt safe in the shop-everyone was masked. And I wasn't pressured at all to buy products. I'll definitely be returning for another deva cut!

Terrible experience.i made 2 appointments for saturday 2pm, drove 1 hour, and she only had one of us on her schedule. She specifically asked me each persons name when i made the appt so she obviously made a mistake. She wasn’t apologetic, she seemed annoyed, she wasnt even welcoming to begin with. I wont even waste my time rebooking. She let $300+ walk out the door.

No matter where you live, if you can get to this salon it’s in your best interest to do so. Mariella performed magic on my hair. I got a deva cut for the first time and already want to go again. She knows her stuff and I don’t know how she does it!
