I scheduled an appointment and although they're policy states that the customer must cancel 48 hours before my appointment was cancelled 1 hour prior with no deposit refunded.this was unfortunate because it was my birthday and i would have loved for them to do it

Went there on Saturday for crochet style the staff were amazing, environment very friendly. I was expecting my head to be sore from the braiding it was the total opposite, my braids are light I can easily put up into a bun normally I have to wait at least two weeks. They do all kinds of styles coming back for sure.

I'm going on a cruise to celebrate my wedding anniversary of 4 decades plus.we're ready and my spouse really enjoys my hair style thanks to you!

My experience at Mariam African Hair Braiding has been the best experience I’ve had while getting my hair done. The owner is extremely professional and nice, as well as the stylists. My hair appointment was for 6 hours and I was out on time. I absolutely love my hair, it’s neat and there was little tension on my scalp. My stylist Coumba was so nice and made sure I was satisfied with the final look. I will definitely come back!

I love Mariam’s braiding! Not only have they consistently given me gorgeous looking braids but they’re not excruciatingly tight like so many other braiding salons i’ve been to. Truly amazing service.

Excellent Braiders. I took my daughter for box braids and they were neat and not tight on the scalp. All pandemic precautions are in place from temperature check and sanitizer at the door. Stations are cleaned between customers. They have earned a repeat customer!

My extension was too pretty not tight it didn't take too long and above all it lasted before I took it off.
Ps: the hair salon is clean and smells good

Revised: I used to love it here until they start putting the newbies on my head every time I went. Each time I would tell them how I wanted my hair and they still did it how they wanted. 1 stylist in particular. The last 3 times I had my hair done it looked AWFUL the last time I went was the last time I'll ever go. I was going to get them to it fixed but I didnt want the same stylist from the last 3 times. Im so disappointed.

I had my hair braided for the first time ever. I was nervous, but so happy I found Mariam Hair Braiding. Daba was so patient and explained everything to me. Her consultation made it easy for me to decide. The shop is beautiful. They worked quickly and the results were awesome! I loved my box braids so much that I put them in again as soon as I took them out. I received so many compliments and I recommended Mariam’s to everyone who asked who did my hair! I highly recommend the stylists here!
