Manny is the man. I’ve been going to him for 7 years. I don’t live near him anymore but make an effort to come when I can, even if it’s only a couple times a year. He doesn’t get too mad though he knows I’m “cheating” on him - just welcomes me back with open arms, every time. Because that’s the kind of man Manny is.

Manny is fast but is highly skilled and cuts hair with precision. Great attention to detail. I got the classic scissor cut. Great haircut for an affordable price. Easy to make an appointment on his website. No waiting, in and out quickly

Stopped by Manny’s while I’m town visiting family:) Very fast and nice! Super professional! Gave my boyfriend EXACTLY what he wanted and moved lighting fast, did razor work on the back without him even noticing it! Wanted to get a hot shave but he had an appointment at us, so he did machine shave down which was soooo clean:) Will have to stop by again when we’re back in town!

I've been going to this barbershop for about two years now and I've had nothing but excellent experiences each time. Manny, is a friendly guy that made sure that my haircut was exactly the way I wanted. I always call ahead about an hour beforehand and I've never had trouble getting an appointment at the time I wanted, though they welcome walk ins as well. The price is good, the people and atmosphere are great, I really can't recommend this place enough.

Ok, so in general, I don't like going to barbers. Being stuck in the chair and forced to someone who you are totally at the mercy of talk about whatever they want to talk about while you hands are under a gown unable to get your iPhone.dreadful.

I've been to MANNY'S BARBERSHOP 4 times now and I gotta say that Manny is the most amazing barber ever! He asks what I want, gets to it, finishes, shakes my hand and moves on. He spent a lot of time making sure my hair was perfectly blended but at the same time he was quick and professional with the cut. He also has a great sense of humor and tries to make conversation to keep you entertained. I am in and out in 15 minutes and became my go to spot. I love this place.

Mannys barbershop is a hidden gem to the east village! Both manny and tazi are amazing talented barbers who will give you exactly what you are looking for. It’s so convenient for me since I live two blocks away. I promise you will not be disappointed. Both kind men who have a passion at doing what they do best. Mannys is the place to go!

New to the neighborhood and decided to stop by based on the reviews I read online. Tazi did not disappoint! He took his time and was extremely thoughtful with the cut (I ultimately let him freestyle it a bit based on what he was thinking). Hair turned out great. He and Manny are both awesome guys, and Manny even made it a point to introduce himself as he realized I was a new customer. Will definitely go back there. It's one of the best kinds of neighborhood-friendly barbershop you could ask for in Manhattan. Both Manny and Tazi are incredibly welcoming and caring gentlemen. Even though he is a skillful and talented barber, Tazi doesn't hesitate to ask questions to his customer in order to make everything right, which I appreciate and respect.
