Stay away i went there to get perm/curls and had already made an appointment for that but when they started they afsked me jow i wanted it in the sides so i afsked the to do a drop fade but apperently the only thing they knew how to make was skin fade and a nr1 and theb when they were done with the sides they started with the top but never made curls and when we them confronted them with it thay said they couldnt make it and it wqs a misunderstanding and they werent goung to make it even do we 2 days prior went and afsked them about it and they said they could and we made an appointment for it but then after we cobfronted them about it and it case out as more or less exactly what I didnt want we still had to pay 38 dollars but they then direkte us to one of their other places down the street that could do curls and when we arrived and were ablut to start they said it would cost atleast 400 dollars and take 4hours and I also had to have the fade fixet after the other place wich proublably would cost 100 more so we ended up leaving
So we ended up paying 38 dollars for a cut that wasnt what we wanted and them doing nothing to try and fix their mistake

Walked in and was able to accommodate within 20 mins… frank was professional, took his time and gave me the best haircut and shave I have had… highly recommend

It was my first time there and Alex was awesome; talked me thru what he felt I should or shouldn’t do with my hair which I appreciated! Very happy with his work!

First time coming here and they exceeded expectations. Went with Rephael by recommendation from a friend and glad I did. He was no bs, straight to the point, and gave a very clean and precise haircut. I also have a decent beard that I’ve been working on for close to a year, in which he took good care of, trimmed nicely and neatly. I will be returning to this place.

First time trying this place - Jay did a great job took his time was focused and did an amazing fade & cut on my long hair, best haircut I've gotten in a while will be back.make sure you tip well! ;)

Had my son's first haircut done today by Adam and it was a wonderful experience! Adam was patient and gave the exact cut we envisioned. Will be going every few months!

Frank was great. I'm white and have cowlicks like crazy, he managed to cut my head exactly how I wear it. Extremely fast, yet precise and proper. All the staff was accommodating and professional. You definitely get your moneys worth, I will be going back to Frank.

Unfortunately I don't remember who gave me a haircut here in March 2018 during a vacay. The best one of my life. I’m still trying to find someone that can make a similar work. Greetings from Argentina guys

Raephael cut my hair here- did an excellent job. When I called the office was worst single interaction with a customer service rep I’ve ever had. They insulted me for not knowing the address or the hair color of my barber.

Adam gave me one of the best haircuts I have had. It's actually hard to find a a good men's haircut and now I have a place to go. The place was well maintained and everyone was Covid cautious.

Ask for Jordan. Tapering and fading details were very very carefully and an all around great dude. Make sure y'all hit him up for a dope cut

Literally the worst haircut of my life. I got a haircut and beard trim and Marsel didn't take any time to ensure that my haircut was lined or faded properly nor if my beard was shaped correctly. I even asked him if he could blend my beard fade into my haircut better and he looked at me as if I was crazy for asking. I went home and lined up my beard and adjusted the fade the best I could myself but I shouldn't have to walk out of a barbershop having to adjust my cut. There was no time and attention taken to detail and I am very disappointed for a barber shop with such great reviews and high prices.

Ely was amazing! VERY professional. He was attentive, detail-oriented, and clean. He was friendly, but also allowed plenty of time for me to relax and enjoy his services, which I appreciated. Will definitely be back!

Ellie is the best! Kinda and easy to talk to. I receive compliments from strangers on my hair cut.:) Grateful I found such a fantastic and experience barber.

I booked a last-minute appointment here and I was so glad I did. I am from out of town but am in NYC often. I have already booked my next appointment with Jay in three weeks!

I had my hair cut here for the first time yesterday with Evelin, and I was very impressed. She gave me a great cut and I couldn't be happier. She was clear and easy to talk to, asked me meaningful questions about how I'd like my hair styled, and in the end she did a great job.

Beyond Evelin's skills, the shop itself was excellent too. It was clean and welcoming when I arrived. Someone immediately greeted me - they were even expecting me when I walked in! I didn't have to wait, my appointment went ahead exactly at the scheduled time. All of the staff were friendly and professional. I'll definitely be coming back here.

Dardan is the best. Amazing haircut, eyebrows trimmed and a hot towel. I was in the chair 10 minutes before my appointment and was out in almost exactly 20 minutes. The shop is clean, inviting and awesome. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Went here for the first time to get my haircut in over six months and Steve took incredible care of me and made me look my best before i head back to school next week. I got the 40 min haircut and he did amazing work, including a deep conditioning treatment that made my hair so soft and no longer super dry. Even gave me advice on how to keep up and improve my hair texture at home. I super recommend this place as they are the best barber I’ve had in the city!

The shop is bright and clean. Wallace, my barber, was friendly and professional and - most important - gave me exactly what I asked for. Definitely going back.

Been going to Ellie for over half a year. Every time I come in, he cuts it perfectly. This man is an artist. Even though I don’t pay an exorbitant amount of money for a haircut from him, I make sure I still tip him appropriately what feels like a $100 cut.

Roman did an excellent job on my cut. His attention to detail was very much appreciated, as well as his professionalism. The shop itself is nice, from what I saw they have a few good quality products you can buy, Crown shaving co among them which is my go-to. Honestly you cant beat it in the neighborhood, quality to cost.

BEWARE! This Barber shop is run by a hustler/thief. I use this barber every week and was suddenly told that the price went from $38 cash plus $10 tip to $40. The website doesn’t reflect that price and the woman tried to charge me differently and the manager ran over and told her it was $40 for me. I come here weekly. My partner came from out of town and was charged only $35. Just be careful. I was a loyal customer and they took advantage. All I got was a regular haircut. Will NEVER be back nor will my partner. Shameful

My barber/stylist was right on spot with my haircut this is my second time going and loving it.
A few blocks from my office makes it easier to pick up and go.

Best barber experience I've had in New York so far. Everyone was very welcoming, and Najib was friendly and had me feeling the best I've felt in over 2 years.

I had a great experience. I booked a cut and shave with Sam (recommended by my son Dylan who had a cut with Sam a few weeksa ago). Sam gave me the works - including a massage during the hot shave. I will definitely be returning.

Had a great experience here with Steve, he is very talented and professional! It was my first time here and Steve made sure to be very patient and consulted me on the progress of the haircut each step of the way. I will definitely be back!

Love this place. Sam Jr is my personal favorite barber, they take good care of their customers and usually are available for quick bookings.

I made my appointment online lastnight and got there today 2pm! It took around 25-30 mins and I couldn’t be happier with the cut! Tony Diaz is the person to see! So amazing! I told him I was asked to be a groomsman last minute and not to make me look bad! He did not let me down! Feeling good! 100% recommended!

My friend gets his cut here & he absolutely loves this place hands down. He comes here often. He gets a skin fade, he crops on top and then trims the beard. He goes to Will and he takes his time, attention to detail. All workers wear masks and it's not crowded as you have to sched appts online to avoid crowds at place. Give them a try, you will like this place too. With tip he spends about $70 and it's worth it. Look at the pics.

I've had good haircuts, but the haircut I booked with Adam is far superior than any haircut I've had before. Select the 40 minute haircut as it allows Adam to cut, shave, trim, and style your hair, beard and mustache with unmatched precision. I was also impressed by his hot towel treatment, use of all natural products and how he permanently got rid of my cowlick. Needless to say, I will be going back and it'd be a shame if I didn't share how much better your haircuts will be after an appointment with Adam.

I've been coming to Made Man for many years - I regularly see Adam but have seen other barbers, too. Always a great cut and friendly atmosphere. Love this place and strongly recommend it.
