Good store, large assortment, but when I tried on shoes, the saleswoman asked if I was buying these UGG boots? And took them straight from my hands and placed them on the counter. I have not yet made a decision about this purchase, but in any case, I was not allowed to do it.

Super helpful staff. Nice selection, far better than what you will find at Kings Plaza Mall. Clean and organized.

This is by far the WORST Macy's i have ever been in. Nearly every women's department is an absolute mess. Shoes? Good luck finding the style you want. Clothes? A disaster: every rack is sloppy, half falling off hangers, no order to styles or sizing. That goes for every type from dresses to activewear. Only the cosmetics and jewelry areas are orderly, but good luck finding someone to help. The management of this Staten Island store should be ashamed of themselves.

Macys is horrible long lines not enough people on the register every time I go here its ridiculous and everyone is complaining as well on these long lines Macy's headquarters doesn't not care at all with the inconvenience the customers and also there stock looks shabby and out dated and looks like second hand clothes looks very tacky the only thing that looks nice are the dresses but they need to do alot better with management. A.s. A.p! The macys in Manhattan is the best and so is kings plaza in Brooklyn.

They ended up having the bigger discounts for buying pair of shoes. They improve better customer service. The staff was very friendly to me and great attitude. Now I will definitely set foot again in the future to shop anything as longest you want.

I purchased a Chanel gift set online, not so happy with the item that I received so I went to their perfumes department. Donna assisted me with my concerns and even gift wrapped the Chanel gift set that I bought. Hats off to your demeanor Donna, the world needs more people like you!

Macy’s is Great! They always have what I want and need at a great price. And the people at the store are so friendly.

I liked this place, a very good atmosphere, many comfortable things and of excellent quality. Just know that if you go out looking, you will criticize that, but if you are willing to buy, you will buy the best that you like

It's always decorated nicely for the holidays and very busy. Sometimes it can get hectic, but off season they have nice selections and helpful staff. Been shopping here for many years, both friends and family.

Overly priced and no sales. Things are not how it used to be. Very unappealing clothes, not very stylish.

Ladies clothing department is usually a mess. You have to know what you are looking for as the sales personnel are limited in assisting. You can get good buys on everyday clothes as well as career. The dress department is very nice as is the newly renovated cosmetics & fragrances. The ladies shoe department is a nightmare. Accessories & men's are nice as is the home decor.

When I was in Macys right after black friday, the deals they had in the store were amazing. I bought many great gifts for Christmas.

We were looking for a locket for granddaughter. Our opinion they were kind of small. Nothing that she could grown into.

Always a great experience shopping at Macy's however I feel they're a little on the pricey side

Mary Francis helped me pick out a beautiful 20th anniversary give for my wife.

Sadly I got flagged by my bank and the sale couldn't go through and they wouldn't pick up the phone!

Mary Francis was detail oriented and knew her job well.

The only draw back was the amount of jewelry available which was very limited.

Very depressing. Low stock. What is this country doing. Can't find shoes for work (yes, I am NOT collecting unemployment) We will be standing on lines for food some day! Is this what you wanted?

I am a frequent customer of Macy's. Store is well stocked and always clean. Many registers have disappeared, so finding a check out that doesn't have a line is challenging. All in all, a good store.

Hakeem who works for Dior perfume and cologne was exceptional, he was patient and helped me to find the perfect fragrance. He also engraved my perfume to have my name on it for my wedding. He is super helpful and one of the best employees to purchase a fragrance from.

Macy's still keeps this store clean, well stocked and organized. It's always a pleasure shopping there.

The customer service person was very helpful and courteous in regards to my purchases. She also assisted me in obtaining an account with MACY'S again because I told despite the fact my credit history with the store was always good, my credit card was deactivated because at the most I would only use my card at the most 4×'s a year. So she helped me with all the information and I was approved for a new MACY'S card.

The ladies were really nice, measured me, and helped out (because I don't know anything about matching ties, belts and shoes) and picked out a great tie and dress shirt

I shop at Macy's twice a year when I go to the mall it's a treat for me I enjoy the entire Staten Island Mall experience

I love this Macy's and their product selection. However, it is always too hot in there. It doesn't matter what the season is, it's always extremely warm in this Macy's. I dread trying on clothing because I look like a hot mess when I leave. Today my mom wanted to go shopping in Macy's but turned around and walked out because it was so hot in there. I don't know who controls the thermostat or if there is a problem with the system, but this has been going on for years. It should be addressed. Even your employees complain of the heat

My wife loves Macy’s because it has a good variety of things and there’s always some available to help when it comes to finding some more information about some products. The prices are reasonable and only some are a bit expensive. Nice variety and helpful staff.

Macy's is Macy's and will hopefully continue to be Macy's. I noticed they got rid of much of their clearance section. They still have clothes priced at full retail prices. My suggestion is to shop around if you really love something and must have it. I still shop at Macy's but you really need time and patience to find the deals.

I'm not a fan of malls, but I was able to find a great fitting suit (in suit separates), in literally 8 minutes. I'm impressed because I'm a difficult fit at 6'4"/199 lbs, and I'm not a youngster. Price was right, and no tailoring required.

Amazing staff found at the suits section. They helped us with selection and inventory. They very patient and made sure we found what we were looking for.

It might just be me, or it might just be today's fashion, but I wasn't impressed with their current selection. Lovely employees, though.

Macy's is another store that I like. You can spend the entire day inside without realizing it! Plus, they have some of my favorite brands. (The one little thing that makes shop in other stores, is that I find these brands with better prices elsewhere)!

Giving this store 3 stars for their messiness at the women dept. Maybe they're short on staff being people don't wanna work due to their free unemployment. Regardless I really don't think that their Ralph Lauren dept should consist of rags. Same apparel from last season. Very little selection at that. Clothes everywhere. Especially in that little tiny section. Why must there be 20 people standing in line waiting to try things on? 4 dressing rooms, only 1 opened with 3 booths at that. Staff is friendly overall.

What can I say, I was there looking for a fragrance for men and although on the counters they had various perfumes to be splashed, there was no one to ask a question or get any help, so as much as I hate it I just made a use for my Amazon's app and got a fragrance the next day. It's Your Loss Macy's for not taking care of your customers, after all what's the point these days to get uncomfortable and come to your shop and not get a basic service while I can get a better service from an online apps/stores from your place of business! Where and What is your attraction for your so-called customers? !

Mary at the jewelry counter took incredible care of my wife earlier in the day. She walked her through all the rings that my wife was interested in and more. Then helped later that day when we went back together to make the purchase. She was thoughtful and respectful. Helped save us money on the purchase with great recommendations. Glad to see that service, while less than a week earlier it was pretty much the opposite.

The prices were awesome but the selection was sparse. I would have bought more if I had a better selection. The person at the register was a bit annoying when he asked what credit card I'm using and I already told him I was using my Macys card. Customer service to me means to listen.

Yes this place is very expensive but at the same time you pay what you buy. High prices mean higher qualities. Items that can go long with you. This place always amaze me but like every other retail store was hit by the Pandemic and you can tell from people who shop there. It used to be crowded not anymore. They are applying social distancing and mask mandates and there some spots for hand sanitizers.

The store still has class. However, since the pandemic the store closes earlier. The staff still helps with coupons but they are very rushed to close exactly at closing. I had a wonderful person helping with shoes, Kya, but even she was limited with the help she was able to give because of the rush. I don't think they want to pay their people overtime. It takes away from the shopping experience. Plus, the website has more stuff and the best sales are on weekends.

It's like any another Macy's, what's different is that they have great sales just about every day. The pandemic keeps most shoppers away, so constant sales they must have.

I needed to exchange an item I bought online for a smaller size and received fantastic service. You tell the most about a company when something goes wrong and you get to see how they make it right. High marks here.
