Lost Dog Café & Lounge

I visited for lunch with two colleagues and was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and the food they had good options on the menu. Personally, I was looking for vegan options and found a salad available with tofu. It was delicious. I would visit again.

First time visiting there. They have a ton of options including vegetarian options that are really delicious. I got the rigatoni ala vodka but with the cayenne and it was so delicious!

It's a bigger restaurant but you don't feel drowned out. It seemed busy while we were there but our food still came out rather quickly. Everything we tried was delicious! Would reccomend

It is nice to have a cozy, unique venue for lunch downtown. Prices, as with everyplace else, have gone up, however, to where lunch, in my world, is a treat, not a daily or even weekly experience. Some unique selections. Service was abysmally slow so don't plan on a quick lunch. Hostess was attired in jeans more suited to working in a barn, which detracted from the cute atmosphere. My "bowl" lunch had rice with a rather "cheap" texture and could have been overall a bit more flavorful, even with the provided sauce; and after the considerable wait (45minures! And not that busy when we arrived) wasn't particularly hot. Overall.meh.

Delicous food. Great portion sizes, for a few extra dollars you can have enough for 2 meals. Waitress was fantastic and on top of things. Great beer and cocktail options too

After a tour of the Roberson House we stopped in here for a late lunch. They had a good Gluten-free and vegan selections. Only one dog trainer in rotation at the time so service was slower than it could have been.

I have loved this place for a good 20 years. Unfortunately for the week between Christmas and New Years, the wait for food is extremely long. We were very grateful though to get a table for 6 right away though, to sit down. Also thankful the waitress pushed to get the kid’s lunches out quickly. But we waited for 4 adult meals for an exceedingly long time. It would be nice if Management could update the “Shwarma rice bowl” to show that there is NO shwarma meat in the dish. It is a meditation flavored rice bowl, with spicy crunchy chickpeas. (It was not evident that you have to ask to add chicken, salmon or shrimp (for extra $). Very surprising to order a dish labelled Shwarma and have no meat on it. We had waited so long for food that I didn’t want to wait 15 mins to have meat cooked to throw on top.
I appreciated the waitress’ kind demeanor about this- sounds like she’s been having trouble with this for a while. I hope management fixes this ASAP.

Great food, great service. I just wish there was a little more room. It's always a pleasure going there!

Mrs. BP found this little place and it made for a fantastic lunch stop while traveling. It opened at 11 but there was already a line of people waiting and when the doors opened, cars everywhere emptied of their occupants who went inside as well. Within a half hour the place was packed. We went with the appetizer chicken lemongrass dumplings which hit the opening spot perfectly. I got the sesame tofu bowl and Mrs BP had the chicken sandwich. I knew it was served cold, but I didn't find the bowl as appetizing as I hoped. The tofu was warm, noodles were good but they had them cut so they didn't wrap around your fork as easy as normal ramen, and the sauce overwhelmed the veggies. The chicken sandwich and fries were very good.

The pinnacle of the meal was the dessert. We ordered the Mushishi, their fun take on cheesecake served like sushi rolls with three flavors of drizzle, caramel, chocolate, & raspberry. I wouldn't be lying if I said I should have just ordered two helpings of Mushishi. It was incredible. Our server was very attentive, never leaving us with an empty glass and also answering all of our questions.

Definitely would go back. Lots of other menu options as well.

What I ordered what I always get when I go had changed it was a bit dry for me asked for a little bit more sauce the wanted to charge me $3 I don't think so!

Place I wouldn't visit again. Service only upon request. Shared appetizers were brought without plates. Need to ask for them. Water refill, no such thing. Burger asked medium rare got well done. Tuna steak asked medium rare, and same received well done. Had to ask to cook another one. Brussels sprouts in buffalo sauce were un-eatable tasted like vinegar. Waste of money.

One of the best spots in downtown to grab a good bite and enjoy beautiful drinks in an unmatched atmosphere. Beautiful

Stopped in for lunch and, though busy, we were seated quickly. Food was very tasty and service was good. Total time spent there was about 1-1/2 hrs. I'd certainly go back.

Pricey but a great date night / weekend spot to hit up. Awesome menu, great vibes. College atmosphere with diverse crowd. Awesome coffee bar too! A must try if in the area or looking for something.

I've never been to the cafe part, but the lounge on Thursdays from 9pm-1am was super fun! Great crowd, fun atmosphere, great drinks, and an awesome time watching and doing karaoke.

Fun atmosphere and cool decor. The food was rich. The malbec I ordered was very cheap. My next glass of Josh was better. The food was yummy. Steak all around.
