I have been suffering with back/neck pain and poor circulation for many years and one of friends referred me to this place several years ago. Since then I have been a regular patient here. I usually see Bo and Seung for acupuncture and Leon for massage therapy and they all have been exceptional. All providers here are very competent and professional and genuinely care about their patients’ health. I am very grateful that I found this place. I would recommend a thousand times!

I have been seeing Seung for a year for my post-concussion syndrome and whiplash injury. I had never gotten accupuncture or cupping before. Seung is very knowledgeable and always answers all my questions thoughtfully and meaningfully. He asked me so many questions about my health and history and really looked at my symptoms in a full body perspective. I really appreciated this because many of the doctors I had seen before were only trying to fix one symptom and weren't really looking at how everything was influencing my body in a wholistic perspective. I was desperate as my symptoms were not manageable and my episodes would flare up daily. Accupuncture with Seung lessened my symptoms incredibly and I am happy to say I am no longer having daily flare ups. I am so grateful to Seung for putting so much attention and care into my treatment plan. I am almost 3 years post-injury and even though I am still dealing with a lot of symptoms, I can easily say accupuncture and Seungs treatment has made living with a chronic health condition more manageable and sustainable. I feel like I can actually have some sort of life now.

Personal and private, I came to see Bo for wellness surrounding fertility. She is attentive, clinical, kind and very pleased to say I conceived on the same day I had an appt with her. I’m now looking forward to continuing acupuncture while I go through my second trimester

A much, much needed addition to LIC. Seung and Morgan have a solid amount of expertise and made me feel at ease pretty quickly. Their space is stylish and has welcoming, nurturing energy. After two acupuncture treatments, my overused and overstressed rhomboid and shoulder areas have improved, and I’ve also come out of my sessions energetically shifted for the better. I hugely appreciate knowing I’m in safe hands with their care, and look forward to continuing my treatment with them!

(An added bonus: their location is a short walk from the Queensboro Plaza/Queens Plaza subway stops, which makes appointments very easy to get to and include in my schedule!)

I have a lot of experience with acupuncture and bodywork in general, and was happy to find this gem in the neighborhood. The facility is immaculate, clean, and calming, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, you feel relaxed just stepping in the door. Seung and Morgan are skilled healers, listen to your concerns, and come up with appropriate healing plans. Have only tried acupuncture and bodywork so far, cannot wait to explore the other modalities. Highly recommended!

I can't say enough how much I love this place! I came to them a mess and the work I've done there for the last 3 months has increased my quality of life tenfold! What a gem! Bo and Seung are caring and professional. They really know their stuff. Each session they listen closely to my physical and emotional conditions and do their best to treat. I first came in for chronic shoulder pain (mostly from work, but also stress) and after maybe 3 sessions I found SO much relief. I love the combination of techniques that they use. I find myself craving a session every month or so - I always walk away feeling lighter and looser in my head, heart and body. I also love the space - it is clean, calming and just perfect. I would highly recommend this gorgeous place of healing.

This is a pretty awesome place. The people working there are all very nice, kind, knowledgeable and offer you a deep and thorough care. They make sure to measure the effects of the treatment and try new techniques if one doesn't work. The place itself is very nice and relaxing. Bo is truly an angel.

I have been getting acupuncture treatments at LIC for the past 3 months. I am really impressed by how relaxing the environment Bo and Seung created and how much care they put into their profession.  A very big shout out to my acupuncunist Bo who has the most natural chill energy that always makes me feel relaxed and forget about the stress in my life. After her treatments every week, I always leave feeling recharged and like a completely new person.

I got cupping done and my roommate had a boot treatment. The space is very clean and peaceful. The bedside manner of the owners and their patient and professional explanation of services was much appreciated. We will definitely be returning and referring more friends.

Great place! I went here for a recovery session a week ago and feel great. I tried Cupping, Normatec recovery boots, and the Hypervolt. It was my first time trying any of these and it was such a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, not to mention I feel rejuvenated after. I have been training for a race and will definitely be coming back as a progress through my training.

This is hands down my favorite place to get acupuncture in the city. I've been getting sessions from Seung for several months now and have seen incredible results with my health. He takes the time to listen attentively and truly cares about improving your health. The space is also gorgeous - it has an upscale industrial vibe and you will truly feel relaxed after you leave. I’ve experienced neck pain and issues for the last 5 years. I’ve been coming to LIC Community Acupuncture for the last 8 months and my pain has improved considerably. There have been some days that I’ve gone to LIC Community Acupuncture with level 8 pain after a 20 hour flight (basically in tears) and Seung and Morgan have helped so much in bringing the pain down tremendously.
I also purchased a package for 10 sessions which made coming here often very affordable. The space is extremely comfortable and bright and relaxing. LIC Community Acupuncture is legit my favorite place in NYC!

Being a therapist myself this is one of the places i go to to care for myself. They are knowledgeable and caring. Is clean and peaceful. Also had them come and treat my mother (she had a stroke) at home. I send my clients here too.i recommend.

I was traveling for work for a month and the first day I got back to New York I messed up my neck really badly to the point where I couldn't move my neck in any direction and was in constant pain. Sleeping was difficult, shifting weight was difficult, even looking at my phone or laptop was hard and it was deeply disrupting and distracting to my everyday life.
My roommates had both been to LIC Community Acupuncture and worked with Seung, they had great things to say so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm not new to acupuncture but I hadn't done acupuncture in a couple of years.
When I first met Seung, he spoke with me extensively about what I was experiencing physically but also emotionally and mentally. He rightfully correlated my physical pain with stress and tension which I held a lot of in my upper and lower back. During our sessions Seung used a combination of acupuncture, cupping, and massage while simultaneously sharing with me insights he had about where the root of my tension was.
After our first session, my pain got slightly better for the first time in days and after three sessions over the course of 2 weeks my pain went away entirely and I recovered 100% of my neck mobility.
The difference is huge! From daily, constant, shooting pain to full recovery in a matter of weeks is remarkable and I really have Seung to thank for all of this.
LIC Community Acupuncture is truly a gift to our community. Not only is everyone extremely professional and masterful at what they do, I have found few other places that offer such affordable and high quality care.
I got a 5-session pass for $550 which comes down to $60/session.
I would recommend LIC Community Acupuncture to anyone who is looking for a multi-pronged approach to pain management, body wellness, and holistic care.

I was new to acupuncture and started visiting LIC Community Acupuncture in November 2018 to help with stress and anxiety. I have gone weekly since as it is one of the best parts of my week. Seung and Bo have created a wonderful, comfortable, and soothing environment where you can focus on yourself. They take the time to get to know their patients and customize treatment week by week. The treatments have been stress and anxiety reducing for me. I highly recommend LIC Community Acupuncture whether you are new or familiar with acupuncture!

The staff of LIC Community Acupuncthre is so accommodating, kind and knowledgeable. Very professional and friendly Staff. Your care is tailored to your needs. If one modality does not provide sufficient relief, they use a different one and stick with what works. Very clean office space and tranquil. I would recommend this practice to my family and loved ones.

Love this place! I always get a weird sharp pain on the inside of my leg above my ankle when I start training for marathons. I would foam roll, Ice/heat etc and I always ran with it just gritting through. This time around my goal was just not to get hurt during training so when it started to hurt again, I decided to try acupuncture. I had tried before at places in the city but didn’t find the place nurturing or attentive to my pain.

Seung was completely the opposite. He truly cares about the problem you’re having and is very thorough and attentive in efforts to solve it. He doesn’t just do acupuncture but explores cupping or moxa as well depending on your ailment. I love going here for a tune up after a couple weeks of hard workouts and traveling for work- it always makes me feel better.

Seung was very attentive to my needs. I came in pretty much a wreck — my legs, neck, and arms were sore. He focused on the most pressing matters and I left feeling much better. And completely relaxed. The office is housed in a very clean, spacious, modern, industrial looking space. I am actually going back today for my second session. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing. Seung Park is a magic worker and healed my back pain in one session of acupuncture and cupping. In addition to solving my immediate pain, he asked a ton of background info to get to the cause and helped me prevent future issues.
