Only good thing to say about this place. From the moment you walk in, the barbers are welcoming. My son has been cutting his hair here for years. Place is clean and you’re in and out. They deliver exactly what we want. Thanks guys and happy holidays

Opened earlier than anyone else in hicksville and they do an amazing job! Mike took his time with the haircut, explained his recommendations and gave me a cut i am very happy with. All done very quick and efficiently! Thanks Mike, had a great time conversing with you!

I've started coming here consistently with Mike cutting my hair, and I've gotten top-drawer service every time. The shop is clean and well-kept, and there is always someone that is ready to cut your hair if you need a cut and run.

Mike is my guy there, in terms of haircut skills, he is awesome. Whatever you ask for, he can do it, and it is clean when you get off that chair. On top of it, he is a great professional who gave me some great advice on how I can take care of my hair better, and how I can fix the thinning look I had.

Overall, this is a great shop and everyone here is skilled and I would any of them to cut my hair. If you're looking for a good shop, this is the place.

It was my first time at this barber shop. I took my son to get a haircut from Arthur. He was very nice and professional and was very good with my son. Seems like a very nice place with a good group of guys. I would definitely take my son back there.

Today was my first visit and I will definitely be coming back. My Barber David was very welcoming and professional. He listened to my concerns before going for the blade, and gave me a sharp fade that was on point. I recommend checking them out.

Came in for a haircut today, and waited briefly for Alan to finish the customer ahead of me. Alan is a very professional barber, and he listens closely to what you ask for. I had initially asked for a number 2 on the sides, but Alan sensed I was not sure about how short the 2 would be. Glad he suggested going with the "3", because the 3 on the sides was the perfect amount of shortness. Great haircut, and I will definitely be coming back to see Alan. Thank you, Alan!

Been going here for a while and they have always done me right and are friendly about it. My last barber Mike was really good with my longer hair, everyone around me loves my haircut.

I’ve been going here for the past few years after struggling to find a decent barber on Long Island. Needless to say the name of the place speaks for itself. It really is the finest barber on LI. The barbers are very welcoming and make you feel like a good friend every time you walk through the door. If you get the chance, ask Mike to take care of you. His hot towel shave is beyond amazing!

My husband goes to mike all the time and I won’t let him go to anyone else. He’s the best out there. Alan waxed his ears and he hears me better now.

When I went to get a haircut they told me it was 35 but over the phone they told me it was 20. It’s a rip off. Also no one wore a mask!

Went it around 10: 40AM on a Wednesday and came out in 20 minutes. Price was fair for the service. Asked for a fade and an inch off the top and didn't feel like talking too much after that and the barber reciprocated.

Usually cut my own hair so I'm glad to have a welcoming experience and a good haircut by the end of it. Some of the movements the barber made seemed second nature to him. Would go back.

First time coming to LI Finest Barbershop in Hicksville Long Island and Mike did not disappoint in the slightest!

Randomly passed by the shop two weeks ago and ran into Mike. As I was explaining what I wanted to do with my hair you could see and hear that he was genuinely excited about the cut and confident in what he does- that was the moment I knew I needed to come back to him.

Also, the Barbers that I met today were friendly and chill, the shop is spacious and clean, the music is great, and the pricing structures are a good value for the quality services you’re getting; the shot of bourbon afterwards is definitely a perk!

One of the best barbershops I’ve been to another very long time. The barbers took care of me as soon as I got in. They treated me like family. I bought a few hair products as well and my hair looks better than it ever did before. Definitely five stars two thumbs up.

Absolutely one of the best barber shops you will find. I have been a customer for years now. These guys are true craftsmen at their trade. Everything is kept immaculate, sanitary and clean. Not only do I get my haircut here but I bring my teenage son as well. Always leave beyond satisfied. Even through the COVID pandemic, when they were permitted to open they did an amazing job keeping everyone and everything safe.
An “old school” type shop in the modern age where guys can go and get a haircut, shoot the sh_t and leave feeling good.
I highly recommend LI’s Finest to anyone looking for skilled barbers at a fair price. It’s nice to be able to support a local business who deserves it.

Workmanship is good.

Not worth $50 though. Also, saw the other 4 gentlemen sitting in their seats get a massage while they were getting their hot towel shave. Usually. No issue. But I didn’t get one. Maybe cause they were closing? Who knows.

I hadn’t had a decent haircut since the pandemic! After looking online (as is now the norm when you want something), I came across the title “Long Island’s finest barber shop. ” Because of other services listed (ear hair removal) I decided to give it a shot. The truth if the matter is, I do a lot of on-camera work for television and I’m skeptical about who I let touch my hair. I was greeted by the owner Arthur who took me without a wait and not only was he kind, caring and a pleasure to talk to (we had a common bond over the love for watches), the man was a walking Edward Scissorhands! Brilliant work. Then on to his brother Dave for the hair removal. Ear hair is no fun but with a little bit of wax and Dave’s gentle pull.like a baby’s ear (those were his words, but I agree). Before I left, I chose some quality hair products imported from Turkey. I will say that I will look forward to seeing my new friends again soon. Anyone reading this should know that in no way was I compensated to write this truthful review. Some of the other reviews mention the prices. If you’re looking for a cheap $10 haircut, no this isn’t the place. I imagine the guys there would agree when I say, if you have a ten dollar head then go find a ten dollar barber (if such a thing exists). If you want craftsmanship and artistry, not to mention one heck of a cut.then you go to Long Island’s Finest Barbershop!
