Learn and Explore Preschool

I’d like to express my gratitude and appreciation to LAE pre-school. Both of my kids are attending the Pre-k right now. The teachers are amazing (Ms. Lena & Ms. Zoriana, Ms. Inna & Ms. Oksana), and I am forever grateful for their ability to establish kind, warm and trusting relationship with my kids. Not only are they nurturing and loving but also they provide a great education while engaging the kids in various activities. My kids adore their teachers and always talk about them at home. The leadership is strong and very approachable. Ms Izabella and Ms. Mariya are very engaged in our kids daily activities and wellbeing. The communication is phenomenal as well. Parents get daily pictures updates and weekly newsletters with the in depth details of what the kids will be learning next week. You can always get in touch with the teachers via the app or just stop by the pre-school. They have a lot of extracurricular options to choose from to explore your child’s interests. The meals are so delicious, that my kids complain that they miss “borsh and plov” when they stay home while being sick. Overall I see a huge difference in my kids growth and development since we started here 5 months ago. It will be very hard to part our ways once the school year is over. I wish we could stay here for another year ;)

I am very satisfied with this preschool. My child is getting education in reliable hands. I have noticed positive changes in my child since going to this preschool. The teachers and assistants are friendly and experienced professionals. I am grateful to Ms. Larisa, Ms. Maria and Ms. Isabella. They always explain and answer all my questions. I am proud that my child is going to this preschool. I intend to give my little daughter too.

This is the best day care. The program they offer is very advanced and strong. My daughter started talking and became very knowledgeable as soon as she went to Learn and Explore. Every day they learn something new. My daughter is in elementary school now and even her present teachers asked me which daycare she went to before, because she knew everything and much more for elementary school level. Thanks to Learn and Explore they gave her that knowledge and that level of education. They make your child smart and bring out the best potential that is in your child. I would recommend this daycare to anyone. The teachers are very professional and they know how to teach. I’m very happy with this daycare and the food is great.

Once our son was of age to be enrolled in pre-k, we were excited about enrolling him with Learn and Explore. Went for interview, everything was great. They were also willing to work with us to accommodate his food restrictions (medically justified). Unfortunately prior to the year starting, we learned he won’t be able to attend due to a more than reasonable cause. We informed them right away, and they were understanding. Two of our friends’ children went to their school and one is currently attending. Both, speak highly of L&E.

They close the door in the morning and do not let them go to school. If you do not want to lose your job, then it is better not to send your child to this kindergarten.

Amazing daycare! My son was so happy with this daycare. The teachers are very nice, a professional! Very clean place, my child felt very at home when he was here. We will miss you!

Learn and Explore is 100% the best place for kids!
Kids are learning everyday by doing science experiments. Kids are engaged everyday in learning about animals, weather, days of the week, months of the year. They learn their ABCs, songs, dances, poems. They eat fresh cooked meals. They celebrate birthdays. They play in the backyard. All the teachers are caring, helpful, pleasant and smart. I would recommend Learn and Explore to everyone!

Mrs. Deborah is the best my daughter learned a lot of things. My daughter used to come because of her cause she does different kind of interesting projects everyday with kids. I changed my mind I called back after next day and wanted to bring her back again but Isabella said I cannot. So thank you so much Mrs. Deborah.

Learn and explore preschool has established an amazing and welcoming environment. The staff are extremely kindhearted and hardworking. My children had a great time there and I felt comfortable leaving them in a place I knew they safe and had a great time in!

My daughter Michelle is currently enrolled in Learn & Explore. We have been with Learn & Explore for a few years. The teachers in this school are kind, professional, and caring towards children. Izabella the director is a pleasure to work with. This is a safe and warm daycare/preschool for your child.

My daughter loved this day care from day one. Very professional staff. Teachers are very knowledgeable and kind. We attended pre-k as well and it also was a huge positive memorizing experience for my child. Clean, organized and very well maintained place. The owners are amazing, and always were doing everything possible to help out in absolutely anything…! We are 7 years old now and continuing to attend the new learn and explore school again…both places are amazing…Highly recommend to other parents if you want your child to be safe and feel like they’re home, this is the only place for your beloved children!

We had a great experiance with Learn and Explore Preschool. All teachers are professional and kind. Homemade fresh food, clean and organized classrooms, outdoor playground and everyday new activities were very useful for my daughter. She learned a lot of new things and I’m so happy now. Thank you so much.

Terrible daycare if your child has a disability or special needs. My daughter had a speech delay and was not ideal for their daycare. They did everything to make us leave it during the first two weeks. They didn't let my daughter play with other kids. They constantly took her out of the classroom and Isabella called me to take my daughter home. We called the Department of Education together for a consultation and Isabella lied to them about my daughter's behavior.
My daughter's discrimination caused psychological trauma for her and me.
I am writing this review some time after our experience because now I have seen the difference between different daycares.
If your child is somehow different from other children, or even if he has his own personality and character, do not waste time in this terrible daycare, so as not to be disappointed as it was with us.

I Love this daycare. Amazing teachers, great space for kids to learn and explore. I so enjoyed the kids’ shows for all holidays. They organize field trips and invite special guests like firefighters etc. I highly recommend this place!

This school and all of the staff are amazing. Our children were always well cared for and could not wait to go to school in the morning. Highly recommend.

We absolutely love Learn and Explore Preschool!
My child has been attending L&E for the past several years and while being shy and somewhat timid by nature, she has blossomed into an expressive, strong and a vivacious little girl. This remarkable transformation can only be credited to the amazing environment at L&E. It's important to our family that our child is exposed to different cultures, and L&E has a wonderful group of multinational teachers as well as staff who are knowledgable, professional and always friendly.
I personally love the ease of communication between the parents and teachers through the private Facebook group that L&E creates for each class. I can reach out to our teachers and/or the administrative staff with any questions, at any time by simply sending a message and usually receive a response almost instantly. Pictures of daily activities/learning units and important announcements are all posted within the private FB group each day and it's a great source for each parent to be able to view their child's daily progress of learning.
If you're looking for a daycare/preschool with strong curriculum and afterschool program (music, dance and Russian classes, for instance), then L&E is the best choice.
Overall we are extremely happy with selecting L&E Preschool as our daycare/preschool and plan to continue this wonderful journey with the Learn and Explore Academy.

Sorry. When we gave your kid there school organized additional lesson for $. If you don’t pay you kid should seat 50! Min and wait.

High level institution.
We are very happy and satisfied that our daughter gets such an amazing preschool. At every level, they help and care for the development of your child with super professional teachers and all the staff, you can see clearly that your child is developing and learning. What I like the most is the great communication between school and parents, they go above and beyond and accommodate with early drops or late pick ups.
If you really want quality learning for your kids and real people to care about them this place will give you peace of mind.

If you love your kids don't bring them here. Awful management, and many unqualified teachers who will try to get rid of a child if he or she is inconvenient for them. If your child doesn't sleep during the day, expect constant complaints. Furthermore, if a kid is acting like a kid and teachers are already complaining, they will not even consider that your child is not at fault and will kick the child out.
The feeling you get from speaking with Isabella is exactly how the school is. Or, listen to her husband speak, and keep in mind that he just regurgitates all the trendy marketing terms, but those words are just empty shells. They may say they care about your kids, in reality all they care about is collecting your money.
I know that management will try to discredit this comment. However, my child did attend this daycare for 9 months, and we're left with PTSD and cringe whenever we pass by.
There are plenty of daycares to choose from in the neighborhood, I will avoid mentioning them not to sound like I'm promoting their business. However, you may save time, money, and needless headaches, and not pick this one.

This daycare is one of the most trusted and best places in the city. Excellent teachers, staff and owners. Engaging activities for children in atmosphere where kids feel like they're home. Administration (Alex and Izabella are always ready to assist and help in any matter). Education program is very well-put together and organized and teachers make sure that kids learn a lot and most importantly have a lot of fun! Thanks to everyone!

The owner’s wife is the worst. When you go to pick up your child you see her walking back and forth with a plate of food and pants hanging low doesn’t know how to greet parents. She also very rude to her employers I had overheard her tell one of her employers that she should consider losing weight. DON’T SEND YOUR CHILD

This is wonderful preschool for my child, I couldn’t find better place. Teachers are very professional, polite and friendly. They accommodate all my kid’s needs, and support in time of my family needs. I am so grateful for such a friendly, pleasant experience.

We've been with Learn and Explore for several years now. First started with my son when he was very little. And now I have my daughter with them in 3 K.
The staff is extremely friendly and compassionate. The teachers are very competent and attentive.
My son is doing great with his academics due to the foundation that they gave him at Learn and Explore.

Great experience with LAE pre-school. Teachers were professional, friendly and very personable, which made my sons first experience in pre-k smooth and made an easy transition to bi-lingual environment.
School’s operations were at highest level: extremely organized, clean, great food, excellent communication. All the necessary precautions were in place and followed carefully.
I would absolutely recommend LAE pre-school to anyone that appreciates a personal and very human approach to their kids well-being. We will miss you! <3

Learn and Explore Preschool is a wonderful preschool. My son attended their Pre-K program and he was very happy. First, my son loved their food. He came home everyday telling me what he had for lunch and how delicious it was. His teachers were wonderful always responsive to messages and communicated with parents every day through a daily report. He learned so much through our the year and learned to speak English fluently. He went to school with a smile on his face everyday. The couple of times he turn himself at daycare and needed a bandaid the director would call me and explain the situation which was very nice. Even for s small incident, I got a call. In general, LAE is a great school and I highly recommend it.

Five Stars all around. When I see daily pictures online of my daughter smiling and having fun with her class, when I see her educational progress (she was accepted into G and T program), when I see that she is clean and neat at the end of the day as she was in the morning, when I see that she is well fed, I know we made the right decision with L and E. In addition, old school family values and respect for our country makes me even more of a fan. Thank you and good luck to you

I am pleased to write this review as I am very happy to have 2/3 of my children graduate from Learn and explore Day care. I am very lucky to have found and chosen this daycare after much thorough research of my own. First and foremost they are clean, reliable, responsible and very to professional. I was never worried about my child’s safety. The teachers are very friendly, responsive and they made sure to keep me update on my child’s daily progress and needs. I have been very happy on the quality of food and most importantly they always made sure my kids ate even if they were picky. They are safe clean and as a therapist I enjoy that they concentrate on hands on as well as education mode. I am prod to say my son (3rd) child will be starting this fall 2021. I just wanted to write this bc I can remember my research process and how helpful these reviews are.

Thank you Learn and Explore for helping out during this difficult time. This is only place where my daughter would tell me not to pick her up early, because she had such a great time here and she loved all her teachers.

My girls have been going to L& E for the enrichment program and I am very happy to have found them. Not only am I happy, but my girls come out happy from here and want to be picked up last:) teachers- always smiling and helpful if I ask for anything. The owners always respond right away and let you know if there is an issue. Absolutely love this place!

This place is so great! I am very thankful to all staff who works here for all the work they do. My 2 children attend Learn and Explore and love coming here. Every day they share their experience how cool their day was and how many activities they participated in. The place is very clean, the staff is professional and pays attention to every child, the environment is safe, the food is fresh and yummy (and my kids are picky with food).

Wonderful place for children! We were lucky enough to find this amazing preschool during extremely difficult time. During COVID-19 pandemic the owners were kind enough to open up their doors as a regional enrichment center for children of essential workers. While most places closed their doors Learn and Explore showed bravery and thoughtfulness for their community. They accepted both of my children who are in different age groups and made it work. The teachers and management couldn’t be more accommodating to our schedule even when our children were last ones there. There are arts and crafts everyday, outdoor play as well as story time. Most importantly the children absolutely love their time there which makes for very happy parents!

This preschool goes above and beyond in making sure your children are happy, healthy, and thriving. I am very happy with the level of care, attention, and the amount of activities my children are getting.

Truly an amazing experience at Learn and Explore Academy. Our daughter loves it and can’t wait to go to school everyday. We transferred our 3 year old from a daycare that we loved and we were very very nervous. Our friends who moved to LI recommended the daycare beacuse their boys loved it and learned a lot and are doing great scholastically and emotionally. So far its great. Our daughter is very smart and full of life and this daycare nurtures both.

My daughter started at this daycare this past September and she absolutely loves the daycare. The teachers are amazing, and very much hands on with the kids. In management office Nastya and Alex are very helpful and answer to all questions that concern parents.
