Jesse is a master at cutting and coloring hair. He has passion in everything he does and always aims to please his customers. I travel almost two hours every time I go to see Jesse and it is worth every second. I recommend anyone who is looking for the perfect cut and/or color, to go see Jesse.

The only place I go to my highlights, cutting and styling. The prices are reasonable compared to other salons I’ve been to that are way overpriced. They are friendly and make sure you’re comfortable, and offering you coffee, water, etc. The important thing for me is walking out the perfect hairstyle, cut and color every single time. Jesse never disappoints.

Worst place I’ve been to in my life. Jesse was super rude and didn’t listen to me or style me how I requested. He was just freestyling. When I spoke up and asked him to do it how I preferred he stopped doing my hair and asked me to go back and get it done at another salon. I was disgusted with his behavior. I’m glad I didn’t spend a penny there. DO NOT RECOMMEND! 0/10

The man who answers the phone is kind of rude and had an attitude, talks to you like you’re a dumb kid. I do not care for his negative tone. When you work a customer service you need to be polite otherwise you run the risk of losing customers. I will never go back to this salon again. They’re also pretty pricey for the services they provide. You’re in washington heights not downtown Manhattan, humble yourselves. Sometimes people don’t know what they want to do with their hair and the guy just expects you to have all the information, pictures, and details of what you want. He isn’t really patient with clients. When you’re a professional you learn to just listen to the customers and just go with it based on your experience.

Love love love this place, Jesse is a genius when it comes to hair cutting he’s fast quick and gets the job done and glenda is amazing at blow drying it’s been 5 days and my hair is still straight no frizz

An artist! You can go there with your eyes closed. Jesse is a master at cutting hair and taking good care of them.

Jesse’s Salon is great! I’ve gotten my hair cut by Jesse for many, many years. He’s always kind to customers young and old. It’s great to have a shop like this still around!

Jessy is the “BOMB” he knows what he’s doing, knows what hair style and color suits your face. He’s friendly and very hospitable. I love what you do with your hands. Every time I have to come to this salon I must say they work quickly yet all know how to To an excellent job. I must say their customer service is just great this is a salon That strives to make customers feel welcomed and they go out of their way for customers which is why I would recommend this salon to anyone. I am a mother of two whom when I try to treat myself to get pampered I have to bring along my children anywhere I go and this hair salon each and every time hosts their guests with food, refreshments and a welcoming attitude. The owner Jesse is passionate about hair and also a caring person and Julio the stylist is great at what he does but also so sweet. Would give more then 5 stars if I could everyone here is passionate about hair but also very courteous
