Christen is a fabulous hairstylist! I have been going to her for over a year now and trust her completely. She always listens to what I want and suggests a better solution if she thinks it’s appropriate. I appreciate her thoughtfulness and the quality of her work. She is truly talented!

As a fellow hairstylist I can confirm that Lauren is amazing! I’ve been seeing her for my low maintenance look for the last 6 months! I got my hair done at the end of summer and just had my second lightening appointment this week to refresh my look. Even right before getting my color done I was consistently getting compliments everyday on how good my hair still looked months later!

She is so dedicated to her craft, educating herself further with techniques, overall client experience and client satisfaction! She makes each visit feel special and amazing, and has the perfect calm peaceful environment!

My hair turned out better than I could've ever imagined. We are relatively new to town and I have been dreading finding a new stylest. I finally found Lauren on Instagram and I knew just from her content that she was talented and offered an elevated service. Lauren was so attentive from the beginning and nailed my vision. Low maintenence, and just enough color to add some depth and interest. She talked me through any concerns I had about my hair and educated me on the right products to use to keep my hair healthy and radiant. I'm so happy I found such a gem!

BEWARE! Check your credit cards from this girl. She takes it upon herself to charge you as she pleases. I had two appointments one day. Went to the bathroom first (which is right next to her studio) then came out to go to her studio for my color and gloss, then a cut……But to find out that the door to her hair studio was locked with the lights on! She charged my credit card for a no show at 15 mins on the dot! When I was there, just I. The bathroom! And if she wants to say I was late bc I was in the bathroom so be it but I also had a second appointment that day for a cut an hour later at 2: 30. She wasn’t answering her business phone bc I called that several times as I was waiting outside her locked studio. And would only respond via text. What a joke. Lesson learned. NEVER leave your credit card on file with this one. Lauren is at her freedom to charge your credit card whatever she wants. I’m sorry but this is really bad business and I would never do that to anyone nor even try to get away with something like that. Also my first time going to her was almost a $500.00 appointment. It’s not like she is cheap, so charging my credit card $57.50 for a no show and then continued to tell me she can’t even cut my hair from wherever she was hiding) was a joke. Bad business and even worse to charge people’s credit cards without knowledge. So if you still continue to go to her please pay cash and immediately remove your credit card from her files! I’m sure this isn’t the first time she has done this. Her actions leaves a sour taste in my mouth. She has lost myself as a client bc of this and two other girls from my work as well for their own personal reasons. If I could give zero stars I would. Her Hair is to par when comparing it to other local salons services and pricing. I would recommend finding an individual that has better business ethics the charging credit cards without knowledge just doesn’t sit well with me.

Such an adorable space with exceptional service! Christen has completely transformed my hair over the past 2 years. She listens to what I’m trying to accomplish, advises on what will work for my hair and compliment my face shape/skin tone and always delivers! Highly recommend!

Lauren is amazing! You can tell how much she cares about the longevity of your hair while making sure you’re beyond obsessed with the end results. She’s extremely knowledgeable on different hair techniques and treatments for your specific hair type too. I would recommend her to anyone!

I have been going to Lauren for a year and my hair has never looked or felt better. I can always rely on Lauren to transform my naturally blonde hair into a beautiful, blended blonde. From her thorough and honest assessment of your hair quality, needs and goals, to her application, styling and maintenance instruction - she provides a fantastic end to end experience. My hair has never looked better and has never been as healthy. Doing hand tied extensions with Lauren is truly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!

Lauren did a complete make over on my hair almost 4 months ago and I still receive compliments on the color and dimension! She is so easy to work with and has great ideas as to what would look great in your hair. I’m going for my second appointment this week and can’t wait!

I met Lauren a year ago when she first started her own business. Since then I have only gone to her and have never looked back! She completely transformed my hair to what I have always dreamed of! She is so talented and I highly recommend her to anyone!

To be honest I have never found a salon where I left feeling completely satisfied with my color. It was always a close but not exactly what I wanted or envisioned. When my former stylist stopped practicing I knew it was time to really be picky about where I went next. The state of my hair color, because I had just had a baby and Covid hit, was rough. I had found Lauren by searching salon instagrams and when I stumbled upon her page every post was something I would be EXTREMELY satisfied with my hair looking like. I booked a virtual consultation and then scheduled my first visit. I went in with extremely brassy color that was mid to dark blonde and was really wanting a livid in ashy light look. Even though we did a virtual consultation, Lauren still took the time to do another consultation at my appointment to get a better grasp of what I was looking for, what we could realistically achieve, and a timeline of how we could achieve it. Honestly, she worked wonders. She warned me the entire appointment how it wasn’t going to be as light blonde as I wanted the first appointment but that by the second or third we would get it there and then it would just be maintenance. I was expecting it to still be pretty dark and just not brassy but I left with hair that looked light blonde and natural - no stripes, no random pockets of dark, just nice and soft and blended. She also advised I not go as ashy as I originally wanted because of factors like my skin tone, the level of my natural hair color and others. I’m very happy I took her advice. Plus, she has to be a saint with a ton of patience because I have such thick hair I think I was there for about 4-5 hours between my cut and color and was picking up satellite radio with all the foil in my hair lol (like I said it had been A WHILE since I had my hair done last).

I love Lauren’s approach with the “lived-in” style as it is easy to maintain depending on your lifestyle. I am so so thankful that I found her and I can’t imagine anyone else doing my color!

Lauren is very knowledgeable of current trends and techniques—particularly making sure the color seamlessly blends to the roots and throughout. She is very intent on understanding clients’ needs by asking the right questions. She also sets up realistic expectations on the final product.

Her salon is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. The ambiance and lighting is perfect.

I’m so glad I met Lauren! I was instantly comfortable with her and so glad she took the health of my hair as her first priority. She took the time to listen to my concerns and goals and I feel confident she will help me reach them! I’m looking forward to my next appointment!

The client has to understand using good hair products will maintain the stylist beautiful artwork. Having a consultation prior to having your hair done is the most valuable part of this process and makes the outcome so much better!
Having to schedule an appointment that may not be right away speaks volumes of your stylist. That shows how many clients she has & willing to wait.
Lauren asked many questions during my consultation, I also asked many questions which were all answered professionally.
She takes her time, professional, knowledgeable and clearly talented.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Lauren is so so talented with hair! I have been searching for YEARS for someone who can make my hair vision come true and she did just that! Lauren really took the time to get a grasp of my hair goals and how we can go about it in a healthy way which is so important to me. Not only did she do an amazing job with my cut and balayage but her studio is so cute and welcoming as well. I’ve never felt so comfortable in a salon as I did at hers.

After moving to Buffalo almost 3 years I struggled to find a stylist I was happy with until I found Lauren. I originally found her due to her use of Kevin Murphy products, which I was already an avid user of from my previous salon in CT. She really takes her time with her work, never makes you feel rushed, and my hair always looks amazing when I leave. I was looking to change up my dark brown hair with some highlights, but wanted to ensure it would look natural, which can be challenging due to how dark my hair is. A few hours after walking through her door, I was so impressed with what she was able to achieve. Her space is inviting, she even had water and snacks available, and great music in the background. She really makes her clients feel valued and I highly recommend her!
