They do a great job with your hair and they take their time and the prices is reasonable and they do have a bathroom and they are very pleasant

I highly recommend Makita and the other braiders at Kourou African Hair Braiding. Makita accommodated me last minute and got me in and out within a few hours. My twists are neat, parts are straight, and the braids aren't too tight. The other braiders were also doing excellent work on the other women getting their hair done as well. Prices are also fair. Don't hesitate to give them a try!

The service is amazing loved my braids. The lowest price compared to other hair braiding places in Harlem. 100% recommend.

I paid $120 to get my box braids done and within a week all my braids started to slide out so I call to speak to someone and the lady said ok we will fix it come back in and when I did the lady was so rude talking about you can’t pull the braids back and I politely responded miss I get braids done 3 times a year and the lady who came to fix the braids didn’t even ask what needed to be done she just did what she wanted to do and walked away. At the end of the day I’m a customer you screwed over I will never go there again.

Love this this salon. She does your hair nice and neat and makes sure u are satisfied with the hair before u leave. She also has reasonable prices. The salon is nice, clean, and quite.
