Dr. Chin, though soft spoken, was a little arrogant. She mentioned the obvious twice in the 'consultation': "you can go somewhere else" or "I can refuse to treat you". This less arrogant approach would have been saying: "legally, I can't proceed if you don't initial this line or instead of saying RECOMMENDED 20 units, you'd say 20 units minimum. All of this was after she mentioned some of her batches are not effective (bad I think was the word she used). Listening to her list her competitors, I thought it was a good idea to go somewhere else.

Koru Wellness Aesthetics is great. Dr. Chin took her time to understand my concerns and inform me about which treatment would provide the best results based on my circumstances. I’m really happy I found it.

Dr Chin is amazing! She talks with you to see what are your issues, she studies your area of your concern. She takes her time to figure out the best option that is best for you. I absolutely loved my treatment with Dr. Chin! Working in medicine myself I can tell you more than anything else the most important quality to find in a medical professional is someone who will take the time to sit down with you and take your concerns as seriously as you do. I came to her after I had some filler migrate to a different area and the provider that injected me refused to take responsibility for it. Dr. Chin was empathetic and knowledgeable but more than anything glad to finally have someone listen to my concerns!

I recently came in to have Botox done and I couldn't be happier with my results! Koru is the best medspa I've been to. Dr. Chin is a very professional Doctor that answered every question I had. I love her conservative approach to Botox so I didn't feel like I wouldn't look myself. I also had a facial peel done and it made my face brighter and more radiant. The receptionist Katlyn was a delight to have help me through the entire process.

From start to finish everything was flawless even with a reschedule of my appointment. I LOVE Koru! Dr. Chin is so professional and friendly-explaining everything before I even ask. I hardly felt the botox needle when she administered them. And none of my friends noticed when I met them after. I've told a number of my older friends about her because they don't want that pulled look, and she has a really natural and soft touch. There are many things that are done right at Dr. Chin’s office and I don’t even know where to begin with. Who wouldn’t want to go to an office like Koru, that has Andrea who is the sweetest medical assistant I’ve ever met? A technician who gives the most gentle facial treatments, and most important, a kind, extremely knowledgeable and experienced doctor who treats you with her caring hands?
I’ve been going to the office for over three years now and I’ll keep going as long as Dr. Chin is in practice.
Dr. Chin is not the aesthetician you usually see in a dermatologist office, not only she is so skillful and knowledgeable and I 200% trust her with my face, but also she is a natural born beautician — she always give me the best treatment recommendations and being thorough with the process, which helps me understand my face more than ever. I am approaching 40, Dr. Chin’s magic hands definitely help me stay many years younger. She is also so kind and ethical, would never ever push me to buy treatments/products, in fact, she gently recommended me NOT to do certain things and explained why (mainly because I didn’t need them). About 1-2 times/year I do general Botox/fillers treatments, every time I am extremely satisfied with the results. Dr. Chin has the best personality ever, she is genuine and personable, I could spend hours talking to her (not that she has the time but just felt that way lol).
Visiting Koru has been really fun and I look forward to going back to see Dr. Chin and the staff!
