King Kullen

Definitely love their bakery. Wasn't good when I fell in the store 2 years ago because the floor was wet.

People are very nice here and always happy to please. I personal think David is one of the best, but that's just me.

Is what it is.fine selection but not great, prices are on the high side.you go because it's close.

Saturday afternoon and only 1 of 4 self checkouts were open and 2 of 6 regular cashiers were open. The cashiers were in no rush and often had to leave too get change or call the managers over. I spent more time in line than I did doing my actual shopping. Actual products and selection are good, but it is difficult to find an employee most of the time if you need help finding something.

I only go there if I have to. When I do it's for on sale items. Never ever for deli cold cuts.

King Kullen is a great supermarket! I love their cooked chicken. It tastes as wonderful as it smells. Their prices are good. The store is always well stocked and clean. The staff is great.

The self checkout doesn't work. I stood there for probably 3 minutes trying to get the one to work till I switched to another one that froze up as soon as I touched a button. I looked around for the attendee & couldn't find one. The "Customer service" counter was busy so I moved to an actual cashier. Took forever, still faster than the self since I didn't see anyone tending to the registers that weren't working. The cashier wasn't very nice, which is why I usually go to self. Not a word was said to me, no a hello, no a total, nothing. I had to ask for my receipt, she kind of ripped off the printer and lazily handed to me. I don't shop here often being that it's a 45 min drive for me, and the only reason I come here is because of the bakery that is amazing. Over all when i do get the opportunity to come here the store is clean, and well stocked. The older cashiers are usually not nice

Sometimes their produce isn’t the best but the service is amazing- the pretty woman with the long red hair and eyelashes was awesome

Always liked shopping at King Kullen. They're a little pricier than other markets, but they seem to have more on their shelves than supermarkets near me. My family thinks their Italian bread and rolls are delicious. I order birthday cakes from their bakery. It's too bad the King Kullen near my home closed. Now I drive to the Mid Island or Patchogue stores to shop.

Kudos to Samantha, she bring joy and a smile to the clients. She is personable and customer oriented. Samantha deserves a promotion.

It may be a little more expensive than other supermarkets but to me it's worth it because the store is very clean and shelves well stocked and most of all the people who work there. Very friendly courteous and helpful. They feel like friends.

King kullen has more in stock than other super markets typically, however, for most things you will pay quite a bit more. King kullen is definitely my choice when I cannot find something somewhere else but I only go there in a pinch due to the high costs. They do have a good deli dept and can make a good reasonable hero for a party.

Very bad! Do not buy deli meat! Just bought old, greenish turkey there! No wonder every time I go there there are no customers.

What can I say it’s your typical Kingkullin a bit overpriced but great selection and even better staff the Decour is a bit dated, stuck in the 80s don’t think this store is ever been refurbished but it gets the job done definitely one of Kingkullin ‘s bigger stores.

This store is not the cleanest I've ever seen. It is great if you just need a few things or a local pharmacy which is right in the market. Pricing is a bit higher than most.

King Kullen in Middle Island is the food store I shop at. I will NOT buy meat in any other store. Their meat is always prepared on the premises. Yes, they might have a few things that come in pre-packaged but the majority of the food is done right there. The meat department workers are helpful and if you need a special order they help make it for you.
The deli although so many new faces they slice my cold cuts the exact way I ask them to. The only long-term person I'm familiar with is Phil. He always greets you with a smile.
The bakery well if I'm am going to continue to be honest is not bad. Although a couple of times I wasn't happy with something they rectified the problem. I know it's been years since they moved one of the best baker's George to another location in my opinion No one will ever be as good as him. ‍️
The cashiers are all pretty great. The new younger girls are so very nice. Always greet me by my name and are helpful and sweet. A few of the others that have been there forever are all great. I honestly never had a problem with any of the cashiers.
The Manager is always helpful if I need something and can't find it. Just let me say I pretty much only shop here.
The pharmacy I can't say one bad thing about. The two pharmacists James and Anne are the BEST! They are helpful and genuinely care about you. They are so very knowledgeable and answer all my questions and concerns. The only time I might go to another one is if they are closed and it's an emergency and I need the prescriptions right away. The girls that work the counter are friendly and nice. I highly recommend King Kullen pharmacy.
So there you have it King Kullen might be a little higher in prices on things but it's 5 minutes from my home and it is convenient for me. I 8i8can shop while I wait for my prescriptions. I know people don't like the prices sometimes but with the price of gas, it's easier to go there. To me, it's just about break-even.
Before I end I also would like to give a big thank you to the man that collects the carts in all kinds of weather. He always says hello and asks how we are. That man you might think he is a cart guy well remember he is the one out there in the heat rain snow wind hail etc. He deserves recognition too. So say Hi and Thank You to him. Moss expensive supermarket on long island. Started shopping at Aldi and lidl. The price difference is unbelievable

I love the bakery. Everything was displayed beautifully. Valentine’s Day was exceptional there. A large assortment and very appetizing to look at. Delicious

This store is a pretty good store with respectful employees n when you ask someone about they actually take you to the area it would be n they help u find it if they have it. But if it's not there they will let u know the next time it will be back in the store for the most part.

Middle island king kullen is the cleanest store in the area. Although King kullen is a little pricey it is well worth the visit and worth paying a bit more for the experience of friendly clean customer service

King kullen prices are extremely high compared to other super markers. It is just convenient most of the time but i don't choose King kullen as my first option, that would be Stop and Shop. More reasonable, cleaner, more up to date.

One of the main assets of this store is one of the front end employees named Samantha. Her smiling face and gorgeous red hair always greets you and is so helpful with anything you need. She’s knowledgeable and bubbly and what keeps this store going! She’s been there for ages and her dedication & reliability can’t be matched! She makes time to acknowledge every single customer and lead you in the right direction! Thank you Sam!
Also, this store is always organized and clean. There’s a nice selection of groceries. All of the employees are friendly and knowledgeable. *Be sure to check the dates on your items.

This King Kullen has been selling gift cards that wasn’t working. I went with my receipt and told them my card wasn’t activated, they said their system is down. One girl spoke to her manager and said I can get a refund. She sent me over to the Western Union area for Brittney to deal with it. Brittney had a nasty attitude and said there’s nothing she can do. I wasn’t going to waste my time with her. I left, but will return to speak to someone who knows what they’re doing.
Update: I called and spoke to the store manager. (he was very nice) told me he was aware of the problem and to come back and get a full refund. I went back and got my refund.

Creepy security guard posted at self checkout follows around young African American gentlemen when they shop in the store whistling loudly at them. Their entire time in the store Sat Sept 11. Watch out for the man wearing Gestapo Grey.

A worker there named Sam is completely unprofessional. I had tried to ask her for help to ask where an item is and it took about 5 excuse me before she stopped joking around with her co worker. She prances around the store with friends joking around and laughing like she isn’t working. I have not gone there once and seen her actually working. She needs to be fired!

Very expensive and they don't carry enough diabetic food as opposed to stop and shop. Always asking and calling.

Like their store, just a bit on pricey side, but just the right size of a store. And love their deli potato salad.

Great place and good phzrmacy. Love the Deli Staff especially the pretty brunette lady who works there, she knows her customers! She makes me laugh. Clean store, great produce and food items are always well stocked. Best of all the store is clean. I dont know about the bathroom but the entire entire is well maintained. Shopped here for 9 years or so. Issues with a product, no problem, exchanges are a breeze. Unlike Walmart you never see meat sitting in a carriage waiting to be put away! Management is tough, efficient and takes care.

I always liked King Kullen because I find the cashiers to be helpful. I especially like the cashiers in Middle Island because they would go out of their way to cut out coupons for me so I can safe money. They always pack my food into bags the way I like it and I also like King Kullen's meat department because I find it to be the best too.

This place is pricey. But when they're having sales it's worth the drive to pick up the sale items. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The store is in need of an update but clean.

This review is for **KYLE** What a nice man. Not for him i would have probably went elsewhere. He is a kind soul and the night manager I believe. They are blessed to have him.

Overall I find King Kullen a bit over priced. Their bakery department is excellent thou. They do not offer a large selection of specialty items or bulk. They do have self check out which is nice when you need to make a quick stop.

I go here for there pharmacy they have amazing people working there who really truly care about there customers, two head pharmacist in particular James and Anne they deserve the praise and credit for all there hard work and determination

EXPENSIVE STORE! Prices are the highest on every thing. I can go down a bit to STOP AND SHOP, and save a fortune. If you have money to burn, shop this store. If you like good sales and everyday low prices, shop, stop and shop. This store is only good for times you need 1 or 2 items.
