Island Hyundai Service was a terrible experience from start to finish. I’m currently under contract for a 3 year lease on my Elantra. My car is currently under warranty so a basic tire rotation and oil change that should be covered apparently wasn’t between the walls of Island Hyundai. Told us the warranty and lease only covered what was wrong with it if it was a factory defect. Also my rear camera and electrical system with my lights was having issues, The rep then tells us that we have to pay 165$ diagnostic fee even tho my leave covers that fee. They take my car for hours all for them to call me and say that nothing can be done! They LIED straight to my face saying my car has 39K miles on it when it only has 30K and explained nothing can be done because it’s never been brought there before and they only serve loyal customers and we’re not making any money off of me because of my lease. Pathetic! DANTE LOPEZ the service manager needs to be evaluated for fraud because he also threatened to hold my car and wouldn’t give it back if I didn’t agree to pay a fee my lease should have covered.
This Service Center has proven to be unprofessional, the customer service was terrible by the service advisors and I for sure would not recommend going there if you’re expecting a resolution to your car issues. Expect to take an Advil after you leave.
I ended up going to Koeppel Hyundai where the service advisor Eric took car of my situation. Made me feel comfortable knowing that what should be covered under warranty and lease will be covered and the dealership had a much more positive atmosphere.

I needed to purchase a new car. Was bummed out the car I was looking to buy was already sold- but I ended up buying something better than I expected for around the same monthly I was looking to spend. Larry and Brandon were exceptional. Thank you
They do everything to make sure you don’t come back to use their warranty. Unreasonable amount of wait time for appointment and when they take your car and it takes them weeks to do even the simplest stuff.
I was recently in here and was greeted by Michael Taliercio. I explained to this salesman that my lease of only two months was just totaled after being hit while I was parked, and to make matters worse I have only three days of coverage left on my rental. Michael went to work immediately, not only getting the car ready for me to test drive, but working on getting me the price I want. He advocated for me with the sales team as if he were family to me, and ended up getting me the price and the car that I want. I can’t say enough about the professionalism and the overall service from Michael and his team at Island Hyundai.
Five stars across the board! Extremely quick, efficient, and accommodating. Notified me of the problem I was having with my car & fixed it all within a timely manner. I will definitely be returning for any future car maintenance.
*Update* just finished trading in my 2020 Hyundai venue for the new 2022. Freda was amazing and the whole process was quick and seamless! I truly felt they had my best interest at heart. I will be returning for my next car.

Horrible experience with the service center.they claim to do multi point inspections but repaired something car hasn't been the same.came out sounding like a lawnmower, fumes and my personal mechanic said don't ever let them touch it again because this kind of shotty repair can give you carbon monoxide poisoning and we all had headaches that we didn't know what it was from. I brought it back anyway and they wrote a bill with everything my personal mechanic said they mucked up.and claimed the parts were rotted well they weren't saying that when they removed the whole exhaust system. I'm furious and the Tucson's are trash.check out the lawsuits online.these cars are oil guzzling trash, 2 catalytic replaced this year alone.go to anywhere else
Fast, friendly employees. Not a long wait to get my car in. I would think that's because they schedule appointments properly. I was told the work would take 2-2 1/2 hours. I was on my way in a little over an hour with a smile!

Nina went above and beyond to answer all my questions and made everything so simple and quick. We recently leased a Hyundai Tucson. The entire process was outstanding, particularly working with Richie Armstrong. Richie provided his full support and knowledge making this a pleasant experience for my daughter and I. While inventory for this vehicle was scarce due to current economic times, Richie was extremely reassuring that the Tucson would be coming in when it did. I was looking at a limited version of vehicle, and I looked a couple of places where they all charge me with a unreasonable "market adjustment. " As I approached Youssef, the salesperson from Island Hyundai, he matched my offer without hesitation. Everything after that at the dealership went smoothly. Also the financial manager helped a lot with getting my a great deal.

Everything went great with the lease. Only issue i have is with the return of my old lease. Got a bill for missing items from my old lease company. I know these items were there when i gave the vehicle to island. Took 3 weeks for them to return my vehicle. Than i get this bill. Island wont take responsibility so i am stuck paying an extra 300. Not happy with that. Will not be recommending them

My family walked in to lease a vehicle and it took quite a while after us walking around the small showroom for someone to even acknowledge us. Finally, Richie came to help. However, our experience with him was terrible. He had us at the desk and was making calls with us sitting there. Told us he'd pull up quotes but never did. We asked what the monthly payments would be and all he wanted to know was if the number was right, if we'd sign that day. After much back and forth of us asking what the monthly payments would be and him asking us if we'd sign that day if the number was right, he just printed out a page of a vehicle they have in stock with the MSRP and told us to call him after we've shopped around. It felt like he didn't want to waste his time helping us because he thought we weren't willing to buy that day. Little did he know, we were willing to sign that day but he was so pushy and unwilling to help. After that horrid experience, we went across the bridge to the Hyundai in Bay Ridge where everyone we came across was extremely friendly and helpful and leased a vehicle with them that day.
Service is fantastic always amazing customer experience when I come into Island Hyundai. Igli is an amazing salesmn did not beat around the bush with me and gave me exactly what I was looking for.
Sales person Youssef is great, the dealer taking care of any issues very quick, they do whatever it takes to fix any issues and to satisfy customers, I would strongly recommend this dear to all my family and friends.
Always receive good service here. I was and out of there in 45 minutes. Everyone there is very nice. I like the fact that they allow you to sit in there waiting until your car is done.
