IRIS - a piercing studio

Everyone there was so kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. They corrected mistakes and explained what went wrong with previous piercings I got done at other places. I’ve been to a ton of shops around nyc, and this place is the best!

Came in to check on and change a piercing. Got sorted out and bought something lovely! Will definitely return!

Got my nose pierced and they were so kind and careful. They walked me through the process and gave me thorough after care instructions.

Had an ear styling with Carly this weekend and it was an incredible and pain free experience! I’d definitely recommend going here instead of the more jewlery focused stores with piercings. You definitely get what you pay for in terms of experience and professionalism! She took the time to explain every step of the process and made sure the piercings I wanted would work with my ear anatomy. They also have a lot of jewlery to choose from depending on your budget. 10/10 recommend:)

A true gem. A little hole in the wall shop in Brooklyn. I went not knowing what I wanted and was guided by the welcoming staff. My piercer, Carly was so detailed and explained everything thoroughly. I can’t wait to go back and get more piercings.

Got my septum pierced here by Carly. I had a great experience. I love how everyone here is super sweet but also respectful, no matter your pronouns or background. I wish all businesses had this same energy!

As for the piercing itself, the build up was more intense than the actual moment of piercing haha. Putting the jewelry in also was not bad. I love it, thank you so much!

The staff was so well educated on piercing and they were able to read my anatomy and advise me to get a specific piercing.

I am from Europe and I thought this place was really expensive. But if you look at their work they have really fair pricing considering the quality and location. I could unfortunately afford only one piercing. But they are really great! Super safe, explained all the procedures and do not take any risk of any kind!
The studs are pretty pricey and that’s what makes the experience expensive but I believe it’s because they have really good quality products.

Just excellent! I came in to upgrade some of my ear jewelry. Carly and the entire team took amazing care to help me create a beautiful gold chain for my snug piercing and get some beautiful pieces swapped. So happy with my ears! Thx Iris

Such an amazing experience! The twins are amazing one did my new nose piercing and the other changed some jewelry for me. Super down to earth and knowledgeable when it comes to jewelry. They will help you make the right decision on what to do and make you feel super comfortable. Looking forward to going back soon and also recommend my friends make a trip there.

This place is amazing, I got my nose pierced there and everyone was beyond nice. I was greeted at the door and they all talked to me like I was a friend who knew all of them forever. They all hyped up my jewelry choice (there are a ton of options for every budget not just silver balls plenty of budget friendly choices!) I got a rainbow flower! The piercer Carly was amazing and did a great job super professional and made it comfy, it was barely painful. Ask about her dog;) I definitely recommend!

The best experience ever. The moment I walked through that door, I was greeted and welcomed with a smile. Carly and the entire tram were excellent. Despite my sensitivity to pain and anxiety about everything, the piercing itself was painless. I had come prepared to expect it would hurt but it was a complete opposite. By the way, I had my tragus and cartilage pierced. I was so impressed with Carly’s knowledge of all the details. She explained every single detail and was so patient and kind in answering all of my questions, and I ask a lot of questions, unfortunately. After that, Carly walked me through the procedure step by step with kind words before proceeding to the final step (piercing) which left me feeling no pain at all. It was as easy as taking a blood test. If I did it, believe me, anyone can. I wish that these words could express even a bit how I feel about this place and the staff. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This is the best and must visit place to get a piercing if you are considering one.

The best piercing experience I’ve ever had. Went in for a naval piercing, and after sitting with Carly and their mentor, ended up not getting it done. I really appreciate how the duo took the time to look at my anatomy and discuss the healing period and my active lifestyle. I appreciate so so much having that conversation to make an informed, educated decision over just poking holes for the sake of it. Will definitely be returning here for future piercing desires.

Really great experience with front staff and piercer, Carly. They were all super helpful, informative, patient with my questions, and felt I was in good hands. Can get pricy depending on the jewelry you choose and number of pierces you get. Would def return and recommend.

I came here because I got a nipple piercing that was done with a ring that was way too long and thin.at another spot, so I came here to fix it repierce carly did my piercing she was amazing she made me feel comfortable and she was quick kind super sweet they’re so professional. Their service is quite good. They reply promptly. They have some good pieces. Most of them are a little expensive but if you don't find anything similar elsewhere, certainly check out this studio!
