Great place most times we go. Wish more people dressed for theme nights. Great music and drinks.

Better places to go now. Not as strict on theme night dress, as used to be. Lostvits luster.that is what made it great

There was a talent show happening when I went. A diverse group of performers and attendees. Host was super entertaining.

Drinks were good, although pricey for BK, but admission was free. There’s a semi-attached open space for smokers.

It’s a very open and free space for the unconventional. Had a wonderful time.

I loved it. Very interesting place with lots of diversity and inclusiveness. I went mainly for the music. And it was pretty good. Not all of the music is my cup of tea but a few sets were nice. There was also some dance performance which was unusual and interesting. The only thing was that the place got super crowded after midnight. It was difficult to move around.

Went for dirty circus on a Saturday night and it was *so* much better than I was expecting! It was so polished, so professional and above all so sexy - it was my partner's first experience of burlesque and it was a lovely inclusive and consensual space for it.kudos to the amazing performers and well done to whoever had to clean up the mess afterwards

This place is fabulous. So much creativity. Great vibes. Amazing gogo dancers, circus performers, and drag queens! Pixel the Drag Jester was hosting and she was hilarious!

Worst thing to here or notice.

Really dope events. Nice venue amazing Artist and grate stage space and good price on drinks looking forward to project coming up in the Brooklyn, let's keep the unity between creative collaborations coming and let keep NYC entertained and keep the people having fun

I want to give MINUS 5 RATING but this option is not avaliable. So I am giving the lowest rating Bcoz House of Yes has pictures of Hindu gods and goddesses in washroom. It’s one to criticize and make fun of ones religion but this kind of behavior is absolutely disgusting.

The venue is amazing and the performers are always exciting to watch. You definitely have to pick the right parties though. Some tend to attract a weird crowd and they definitely oversell the place from time to time and it gets very crowded! Wear a costume! It's not just encouraged, it's often mandatory.

Best nightlife experience in New York City hands down. It's hidden away in Brooklyn and could take a bit of effort to get out there, but every minute spent getting there is worth the insane experience. Go with an open mind and you won't regret it. Every themed night offers different experiences to cater to everybody's tastes and while costumes aren't always required, I would recommend giving it a shot to get in the spirit. I've never felt unsafe or treated badly in this establishment and that is what I love about this place. You can be part of everything happening, or just do your own thing with absolutely no judgement or pressure from anyone.

Really fun place. But discovered the next day that they had charged me $45 for 3 beers that cost $21. And the bartender never gave me the receipt and their phone nr doesn't work. Not cool.

This is the modern era "studio 54". Modern clubbing with some sort of burning man camp vibe. The drinks are somewhat expensive but tasty. The staff is kind. Front door security is standard.

But then you wander around and discover the "vibe" of the place. Surreal. A mix of a circus and a rave and the bourgeois of NYC. There is VIP area. A hot tub. The weekend has cirque du soleil style acts. Must be seen to understand.

The night we went there was German techno playing. Can't remember the name of the act but they have a world class sound system. The women are beautiful. The men are well dressed.

There are side shows inside as well. Bring a few friends or just sneak away and enjoy yourself. Leave your phone in the car.

This spot is much cleaner than other party spots in NYC. For those who remember the vibe is nothing like club EXIT.

The best place for an interesting night out with friends. Definitely something different and exciting everyone can enjoy

Smelled like wet dog literally upon walking in and it had just opened too so it wasn’t after a long night of people dancing and sweating. Other than that, pretty cool atmosphere and place. Music was good as were the drinks.

It's definitely a cool space decorated by an artist with an eye for the differently beautiful.
So here are my negative opinions. The floors are hard to walk on cuz there uneven, not something I usually care about but with this venue I try and get really glam and it makes it super hard to walk in my stilettos when there is literally 3 different floor types. The floors were also insanely sticky by the end of the night. And there needs to be a bathroom attendant the bathroom situation is ridiculous. It's a non gender specific bathrooms which is amazing with but people linger clogging up the line making it hard to move around. Like please people House of Yes is a safe place you don't have to hide in the bathrooms.
And you're my positive opinions.
The bathrooms though we're really beautiful. The hanging chains of pearls were my favorite attention to detail. The dancing on the stage and the mid room platform were cool. The outdoor area is amazing, wish it wasn't so cold when I was there. The beauty bar was one of my favorite things there. The people here also know how to use mirrors to their advantage which is something else I think is fabulous.and the aerial performance equipment it was really cool to watch them dance on it while I was there.
Overall the experience was wonderful for a new experience that being said I don't know if I would go back unless I was specifically for an aerial performance because the House of Yes is the only place I know where I can watch aerial performances. I just found that the crowd was a little rough the night I went it was hard to dance because there was so many people which made for a lot of pushing and shoving.the House of Yes is a unique place and a unique experience worth every dollar every dime and every second of time that you spend there. But I don't know if I would go back there as a club typesetting unless it was for a very specific aerial performance.remember these are just my opinions take everything you read here with a grain of salt and definitely try the House of Yes out at least once for yourself.
