Hoselton Toyota

We had a great experience buying our new Toyota Camry. Our salesman, Hunter, was helpful and friendly; we would definitely buy another car here!

I had a negative experience at the Toyota service center. Made an appointment to get an inspection for my 3 year old vehicle, purchased out of state, but previously passing NYS inspection. I had no reason to think anything major would be wrong with the vehicle, especially since nothing was mentioned during the multipoint inspection done by the dealership prior to this appointment. I waited in the waiting room for 2.5 hours only to learn that the vehicle failed inspection for a window tint. How long does it take to see that the windows are tinted? ! I had to come back the following day to address the issue because the service center was too busy to get the work done the same day. I come back the next day, and I am charged again for the inspection, AND I am charged for twice the amount of time it actually took to do the work. When I pointed out that the time charge was double, I got a nonsense answer. Why would I ever want to come back? !

Toyota had a recall on white paint peeling recall for my 2010 Sequoia. I first contacted hoselton Toyota in 2020 and they documented everything including taking photos. Then I heard nothing from them for months. I visited again, they said they still hadn't heard from Toyota yet. The guy in the collision department promised to contact Toyota again. Then a few more months passed, still no update from hoselton. I visited again, it's still the same response. This issue drags until now in 2023, with even worse paint peeling on the trunk panel. Finally, the response from the hoselton is that Toyota has ended the recall, which is probably true (online search said they ended the recall by the end of 2022). I can't believe how hoselton dealt with my case. I live more than 1 hour drive away, and I visited them so many times to get updates. Super disappointed.

I live out of state and my check engine light came on while in Rochester. Josh was wonderful to quickly get my car fixed and taken care of. Excellent customer service and great work by the technicians.
