Pro shop employee judges for buying cheaper balls. When I asked her about what this club does to treat the geese poop all over the course, she proceeded to say ‘you guys should deal with it, this ain’t the white house’

Challenging golf course in reasonable shape for a muni, minus the sand traps. Nice staff; but the duck poop on the course is borderline acceptable. The restaurant, Trio is nice after a round. They have tap beers and a full bar; and a nice menu for lunch or snacking. Much better all around as an alternative to Sunken Meadow. Price of a round is right too.

Son and I visited range at about 4pm on a beautiful Sunday. Only a handful of golfers out on range. Highly recommend for anyone in need of a quick practice session. Token price $9.

If you ever meet the lady who works at the pro shop who goes by the name of Robin turn away. She is as friendly as a rattlesnake and should never be in a public service job. Will never return to holbrook cc

Dog track workers are rude This is not really a country club not even a good public course! Go elsewhere.

Excellent place to play golf and reasonably priced. Nice driving range, sand trap and ample green to practice at. The staff I'd accommodating and pleasant.

I was lucky enough to get invited to charity golf outing at Holbrook Country Club. It is breathtaking!

Very disappointed, I went here to hit golf balls and the doors were locked and no one would help me or answer the phone when I called. I just wanted to relax and hit some balls but it’s early In the evening and I can’t even hit some balls. Highly disappointed

We mostly come here for the kids' playground and the tennis courts. Both are good. Though the tennis courts could really use some resurfacing. The restroom at the playground is also a porta potty, a very big minus at a place for kids.

People over there they do what they want no time control they want to go home they go driving range they closed what they want something 3.40 pm some 4.00pm and 4.30pm

This is by far the worst golf course I have ever played on. I am young adult under the age of 21 and have got injured early in life and walking long distance takes a toll on me. I was flabbergasted when they told me I could not use a golf cart due to my age. I am 17 and allowed to drive and have a license. Due to this you will not see me visiting this course again. I can drive a car but not a little golf cart! The service they provide here is god awful.

Im one of very few people under 21 that play golf competitively and this is the only course that wouldn’t let me take a cart. Im so disappointed and mad right now that i cant play at this course after i was looking forward to it all day. What a terrible rule.

If I could give this place negative stars I would I am a young man under the age of 21 and have a very bad back and when I was told I’m not allowed to use a golf cart because of my age I was very disappointed, I can drive a motor vehicle at 16 but not use a golf cart at this place disgusted with the service of this place

Fix the handball court floors already. More money goes into the golf club that the actual surrounding park!

Friendly staff well kept but greens don't roll true, but no one is golfing too cold lol

Will not return to this course. And older worker drove by in a cart and said "You're holding everyone up. " Didn't realize it was a crime to take our time in Golf. I get that this is New York, but people cannot be that rude. My money is just as green as everyone else's that plays that course.

They have bad service. I don't recommend to nobody. The food is not enough, some people complained they didn't eat, like 4 or 5 people. They ask for tips before the service. The service is terrible, they don't clean the table in time. They also never brought out the rice that I paid for.

Great for the Holbrook fair! Portapotties be try gross had no toilet paper and no one had on masks besides that ok $30 for a bracket

Used to be good now there's no ranger and the course is beat up and filled with disrespectful people who don't respect the course or golf edict, three hundred pound men who cannot even hit the ball and walk like they crapped their pants, five and a half hour 18 disgusting and disrespectful to the game, horrible and only gets worse the people who play golf here are the real dirtbags who just act like jackass"s and destroy the course

Great place, loved the greens although they were a little worn out. Only complaint is the people that golf there, I met a man in jets attire who looked as if he hasn’t been laid in 2 years, unruly and truly obnoxious didn’t know how to golf and told me his cow of a wife was having an affair, anyway that’s none of my business just can’t believe the people you let golf there it used to be a county club now we allow middle age mid life crisis wannabe mafiosos ruin the experience for everyone else. I would give 5 stars if that man stopped writing reviews and fixed his atrocious golf game but highly would recommend this place!

Went to catered event. WOW. Impressed beyond belief. Assume Trio does the catering, food and service were excellent.

Older gentleman working the desk at the golf course was completely unwelcoming, rude, and seemed miserable that he even had to be there. The entire encounter was awkward and rude, constantly huffing and puffing and seemed bothered to actually have to work. Greens were sub par, the rough was extremely thick, and they were running the sprinklers on the course all day so it was a huge inconvenience when trying to shoot from the fairway. Having to dodge the sprinklers to get to your ball in time and back to your cart without getting wet is not ideal when your paying a $24 cart fee alone. Needless to say I will not be coming back.

I recently to the Country Club for a wedding and for me it was more than a well presentable to host any family event.

Challenging course & in good shape. Staff is friendly & professional. Only complaint is the amount of goose droppings all over the course.

My family attended a sweet 16 there. The food was delicious however not warm enough which is my only negative comment. I understand that cooking for such a large group isn't easy. The filet mignon was tender and flavorful. The penne ala vodka was very good. I would have a party here and I would recommend this venue. Food not hot enough of a quick fix. However the table agreed all the food was not warm enough but very good. And we all agree we would rather eat delicious food slightly warm than the other way around. There is also a playground there.
