I recently had the displeasure of working with Tiveron Law Firm for my house closing, and unfortunately, my experience aligns with the many negative reviews I've read about them. Having bought and sold three homes before, I can confidently say that this was by far the most challenging and frustrating transaction I've encountered.

The level of unprofessionalism displayed by Tiveron was astonishing. There were multiple instances where I was on the verge of abandoning the entire transaction. Key issues included consistently missed deadlines and a baffling inability to facilitate remote signing through a notary service, which is a basic necessity in today's world.

Communication was another major shortfall. It was difficult to get clear and timely responses, adding unnecessary stress to the process. The accumulation of these issues made the entire experience extremely taxing.

What I find most troubling is that this firm continues to be a player in the real estate industry despite their evident lack of competence and professionalism. It's concerning that such firms are entrusted with such significant transactions. There must be, or at least there should be, regulations to prevent this level of service from being acceptable in the industry.

In summary, I strongly advise against using Tiveron Law Firm for any real estate transactions. Their approach to business is not only outdated but deeply flawed, leading to a frustrating and unsatisfactory experience.

Attorney Jordan DiBernardo did a wonderful job in an eviction against a former tenant of mine. Said problem tenant went 'above and beyond' in his efforts to prolong the covid-based eviction restrictions by refusing to apply for rental assistance even after failing to pay a cent of rent for 9 long months, only then to finally apply for the first time about a week before our Court appearance after Mr. DiBernardo commenced the eviction with Court.
The tenant then further prolonged the application process with the state aid program as long as possible by failing to provide them with necessary documents. Attorney Jordan DiBernardo helped make a highly stressful experience into a positive for me, not only did I finally get this person out of my house, I also received all 9 months of back rent through the state. I highly recommend him and the Tiveron firm to anyone in need of legal assistance. Thank you so much, Jordan!

Had them handle the close on my house. The paralegal missed a critical email that lead to a delay, then almost delayed the purchase by a week when the bank asked for additional documents (luckily I was able to find a workaround with the bank). She was rather rude at times when discussing the issues with me, and they seemed to be very disorganized throughout the whole process.

Bad service all attorney or all people over there don't know about the law just they know about the money I lost two times down payment

Dealing with this firm has been the worst experience of my life. They just demanded payment in excess of $33,000 which will ruin me. All for a guardianship for my elderly mother and a will their attorney badgered me into making. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

Hands down one of the greediest firms I have ever dealt with. Fee of $28,000 was not enough money for them to settle my divorce. Then I was called and harassed several times for even more money by their staff at the direction of Diane Tiveron. Disgusting and incredibly greedy. Keep defending physicians because they are the only ones able to pay your fees. Because of the bad experience I had I have a very low opinion of the legal profession. Corey Hogan this does not speak well for your firm.

Pay attention to the most recent reviews! My mom passed two years ago - she had her will with this firm. They nickel and dimed me for any contact with the firm, from status updates to check ins to information. I was told I could wait to pay the balance in full until the estate was resolved. When I asked for a discount (my income has taken a hit along with the rest of the world) they refused because "it took too long to resolve any balance". After one of their employees told me I could wait!

I also had an incident where they illegally placed my account in collections, which I could sue for. No Dunning notice was ever sent and one day a collections account shows up - while I'm in the process of closing on a house!

If I could give zero stars I would. Best I can do is post this review anywhere I possibly can.

I was referred to you by Paul Cambria I need legal representation but I think I might go out of state because of circumstances

Consider this when deciding if this is the law firm to want representing you- I had a very simple case, an Article 81. It’s taken over 6 months to be resolved, Finally, having the POA removed to only be replaced with one recommended by the removed POA. Who subsequently wants to sell the properties, including one I occupy with my kids to make pocket money as he states he is not Even a landlord but “court appointed to manage Dads finances? ” Conflict of interest maybe, consular? All under the watchful eye of my lawyer!
I was lied to, misled and ultimately jerked around.
I still have not received any relevant paperwork from the court via my lawyer or any other means, stating if truly anything at all was done.
However, I am told by the lawyer diligently working this case for me that I can have my fathers estate pay any future Invoices for him. Is that my due diligence?
Paul, you have done a terrible job, if applicable. You let me and my family down when we needed you the most by your incompetence and arrogance. I wish I’d never met you and let you in to the small and very private world of my parents. That’s all I have left and you literally threw up your finger at me and dismissed my family.

Absolutely zero stars! I rated zero stars based on my experience with this firm personally. The receptionist has a horrible attitude very nasty! They charge $400 dollars per hour for a consultation before even reviewing your case which is non-refundable. This is a scam, because once you pay they will just say they don't have an attorney available for this kind of matter at this time. Please don't waste your time or money!

This has been our third time working with this law firm to simply close on a home and most definitely will be our last.
I was beyond shocked by how so much was handled or really I should say NOT handled. This law firm lacked in so many ways with communicating, they didn’t help guide us nor seem to show any interest in us being clients & we were tossed around from lawyer to lawyer. They didn’t advocate for us as clients in any way and in return we lost money held in escrow due to it. They even failed to give us our money and we had to ask for it 2 weeks later and they “forgot”. Choosing this firm to close our home cost us time, money and was the most stressful time in what should have been an exciting time for us. When I’ve told other family and friends who know everything that happened, they are absolutely appalled. I wouldn’t want a family member, friend nor a stranger to go thru the stress and exhaustion we did with choosing this law firm. Choose someone you know is on YOUR side and will be YOUR voice. Choose someone who cares to be representing you.

HoganWillig has handled a number of issues for me during the past 30 years. Recently they dealt with some real estate transactions for me. I was kept up to date and when texting or e-mailing questions, the response was always very fast. I have recommended HoganWillig to friends and relatives and will continue to do so.

Scinta was supposed to handle my mother-in-law‘s estate but after almost a year and a half of absolutely no action the house began to have problems from sitting around and now the only one getting any inheritance at all is Dennis Scinta and his crew. Because of their lazy incompetence there is nothing left for the family. I would not recommend using this firm.

I used HoganWillig for a real estate transaction. They were great. My phone calls/emails were always returned promptly. They made sure everything was completed promptly and kept me advised of the process during the stressful time. I definitely recommend them for any real estate issues.

Unfortunately, due to a personal relationship with Corey Hogan, my father used them to handle his estate. They have proven to be grossly incompetent. His estate sat untouched on one of their attorney’s desk for a year. ONE year and nothing was done to settle it despite multiple phone calls. Diane Tiveron then “personally” took it over. I use that term loosely because she personally never returned any of my phone calls. She handed the case off to Danielle DeJoseph. Although the communication improved a bit, when all was said and done, there was an over $3000 discrepancy between what was in his estate and what we received. My sister and I have both requested MULTIPLE times for an itemized billing from them and have yet to receive one, even though we were told we would (it’s been 5 months). They were paid upfront prior to his estate sitting on one of their attorney’s desk for a year. They should be ashamed of themselves for a) charging us for phone calls to make sure they were actually following through this time and for b) not disclosing to us that that’s what they were doing especially since they were calling both me and my sister.
On top of that they filed the tax form wrong! Instead of issuing us a K-1, they filed his estate as a 1099 misc which would’ve almost doubled the amount of taxes we owed.
This firm absolutely disgusts me and I will tell anyone and everyone I know not to utilize their services.

THE BEST in Western New York in my career. As a realtor, it is imperative that your attorney is kind to clients, communicates, knows what he is doin and has a team that answers the phone and returns calls. Bruce Ikefugi is amazing and has paralegals that make working with Hogan Willig priceless. The attorney and his/her paralegals can make or break how smoothly a real estate transaction goes. SO appreciated and DO recommend them!

This was the most beautiful and largest building of lawyers I have ever seen. I would compare it a 5 star hotel in Las Vegas for elegance. I went in for a consult and found the staff to be friendly and competent.

I'm applying for ssd. My lawyer is Paul. He is great. He actually cares about his client. You Don't find that every day from a lawyer. Always answers, and calls you back. If your looking for good lawyers, go with Hogan and willig! I'm pretty sure they do comp. I have them for ssd.
