Great place to have your home projects taken care of. I just had my garage window fixed here and they did a great job replacing the glass in the frame.

A super friendly family owned business! Probably the greatest assortment or hardware in WNY! Definitely worth spending some time in the store to get an idea of the large inventory of items they have. This will save you some time going to the big box stores for you next project. Sales and service on outdoor power equipment too! Highly reccomend!

Have taken my lawn mower there for tune-ups and repairs several times. Prices are our decent turnaround time is also pretty good.

This hardware store is amazing, worth the drive from anywhere in the Buffalo area. Has that old time feel with all employees so accommodating.

Left without getting what I came for after staff and customer made jokes about pets being Transgender. My spouse is Trans. This transition has been tough on our entire family without dealing with the prejudice of others. We don't force it on others because not all Trans people do. We are just trying to live our life and do business with those that are more welcoming.

Any time I'm looking for a fastener, that I can't find anywhere else, I look here. They have an isle of nothing but bins of hardware. They are very knowledgeable in many areas of repair

Russ always does me well anytime I had anything wrong with anything he’s always taken care of it and he always says everything I want at the right price of going to Russ’s for 40 years with that said in that 40 years I’ve never bought anything at actors hardware that I regreted you can get just as good at price at Hector‘s as you can get a Home Depot or who is depending on the part and it’s a good family owned a few business so before you run after Home Depot check the price over at Russ hectors hardware on transit Road

Decent store. Has what we usually need. Today my husband ran in and the employee that was at the counter was smoking a cigarette! Whole place stunk! Glad my kids didn’t go with him.

My family and I have been going to Hectors for many years. The owners and his employees are courteous and knowledgeable. A neighborhood hardware store that provides a good experience. Whenever I go, there is always someone around to help me with an item. They also have a re-screening service to fix old window screens, with quick turn around time. My most recent visit to the store it was busy, I had a problem with my Echo line trimmer. The owner took 10 minutes out of his busy morning and completed a quick repair. I was out the door and productive the rest of the day. Always a good experience when I visit.

Couldn’t find my bolts needed & someone observed that and stepped in to help. Went out of the way to take my license plate bolts off my vehicle to match them perfectly. Went home and they are exactly what I needed. And they have the cheapest propane exchanges in town. Good experience.

Isles are cramped.service is meh.hardware store with zip lock baked goods on counter? Don't try to pay by credit card if someone is on the phone cause they share the same phone line.it was near by.hence the 3 stars.

The staff at this store are really helpful. I go in there to pick stuff up from time to time, but today I just needed some advice about a snowblower I thought I might need a part for. They helped with some advice that was just what I needed! Definitely recommend.

Buyer beware! No cash refunds……. Due to the pandemic this is a corporate policy. There is a faded sign on the door which is hard to read on the way in! What I don’t understand is I can pay with cash you can give me cash back for change but you can’t give me a cash refund due to their insurance company and for safety reasons is what I was told. It’s a total money grab if you were so concerned about the safety of your employees and customers all sales would be final or you would only accept credit card purchases,

Stopped in for rock salt and asked him for advice about the different kinds he carried he was extremely helpful with his knowledge for me to get the proper rock salt I needed for my problem and thanks for carrying it to my vehicle

I came in for some random hardware and there was this blonde lady who really knew her stuff. She matched my screws threads with the appropriate nut with the quickness. If I had gone to Home Depot I would have been stuck struggling through this myself.
This place has the best selection of zip ties. But that’s beside the point.

Yes they are very helpful. They even sell masks but refuse to wear them. In this difficult time they are putting their customers at risk. This tells me they have little or no concern for their customer’s health.

One of the last of the real neighborhood hardware stores. A working man's selection of hard to find parts and knowledgeable staff.

One visit inside was enough for me. The associate had no clue what we were looking for and seemed uninterested to help. I'll just stick to Home Depot.

They have every thing you could possibly need especially unique fasteners. They also have a fantastic staff to help you find exactly what you need. Never been disappointed yet.

Took my one year old snow blower there because I couldn’t get it started. They fixed the issue, then did an additional tuneup without consulting me first. Also told me they could pick it up and drop it off without telling me it was an additional $50. I get paying for that convenience, but I live less than two miles from the store. Anyway, $220 later the snowblower works but I’m never taking anything here again.
