Great golf course. Very good condition. Given the time of year we played. Very well designed. Service was a little bit upsetting in the sense that we had a tee time reserved and when we got there they warned us that we may not finish because there's a tournament at the same time. They shouldn't have allowed us to book that tee time if they knew we couldn't finish. Nevertheless, we got all 18 holes in without incident and in a timely manner. We didn't feel rushed and we really enjoyed ourselves. Strongly recommend this golf course
WOW what a course! We came in from Pittsburgh for a hockey tournament and had some extra time so some of the guys and I went to go play some golf here. What can I say. What a great course and super nice staff. The only thing I don't like about it is they till always pair you up to make a full foursome. We did not want that nor needed it since we were on a time crunch so it did delay us. Other than that, this is a must play if you come to Buffalo
A truly average experience on a somewhat unremarkable track. Locals hype the condition and while it is in decent shape it is not exceptional, and for the cost one would expect more of a challenge than a relatively flat, open course.
Course is always in great shape. Challenging but rewarding to play. Greens roll great. Just played last week and it was immaculate. Worth the cost of the round. Rangers are a bit annoying about pace of play and carts being slightly off the path.
Course is in great shape! Fairways, tee boxes and greens all are in awesome shape. Only negative, bar doesn't open until noon and NO beer cart. But no coolers allowed.
Greens are not worth the price; there are ball marks everywhere. Makes for very bumpy putts. Staff is very rude and not accommodating. Disappointing for 70 bucks because the rest of the course is nice.
Really Nice, course was in fantastic shape. Haven't played here in years and I will definitely be back soon. Sucks they charge weekend rates on Friday but that's the way it is $75 for a round
Nice layout and challenging options. Firm and fast conditions to go with the weather. Greens are fast and true. Bunkers are well maintained as well. I'll be back for sure.
Yesterday was my first time playing HH.great course. Was playing in a benefit tournament for Homeless Vets. Great cause.now with that being said, the negative that I encountered. Rangers were up our butts all day. Not just our group, but riding around all day, hounding golfers. Its a scramble benefit tournament. What do you expect? Then with 2 holes to play (time was 4: 40), the ranger tells us that we are done and that our party is about to serve food and we need to exit the course because leagues are about to start. We asked, is it a shotgun league start? The guy looked clueless. Then we asked about dinner.and he reiterated that dinner was already being served and we needed to exit the course. Mind you, dinner was set to be served at 5p. So then we asked, why we had to leave if we paid for an 18 hole tourney. Again he just looked lost and baffled and told us we were done. So even tho this is a great course and I thoroughly enjoyed it, I am definitely not going to go out of my way to drive out to OP to play there, with their clueless ranger staff. Thanks! Semper Fi
Played in a tournament last week and the course was in excellent condition. In fact, I would compare the condition to that of some local country clubs.
Great course but given their rates, Its disappointing they don’t have GPS in their golf carts especially when lesser courses have them. HARVEST pull the trigger an install GPS range finders in your golf carts!
This course is in great shape. However the round took almost 5 hours. Then on hole 18 I couldn't see the whole green or EVEN THE FLAG from 185 yards away from the fairway. For the price we paid I would've expected faster play.
Great place for lunch or dinner on the patio and enjoy the beautiful view or in their restaurant. It can be a bit loud inside but not to bad. The food and service were excellent
Top-notch golf course in the area. It would rival most private clubs. It is family friendly It has a wonderful restaurant and beautiful ambiance. The staff is always friendly and helpful
Played for my very first time at the course today. Only played the front 9, definitely an awesome layout very nice course. I know there was a decent amount of rain last night but the players and the staff need to fix ball marks. The Greens in my point of view were 2.5 out of 5, I have never seen a course of this caliber with such poor conditions on the greens. Prices are more than fair for what you play.
Well Bill Cleary, after reading your reviews on other restaurants and golf courses it must take a lot to impress you. As you can see, Harvest Hill gets high ratings from most of the reviews people have posted. I don't care about the GPS because most people have it on their phones or have other GPS devices. If you decide to come back to play Harvest Hill again, I will give you my GPS Device to use. It's hard to get GPS on your flip phone.
Really solid golf course, nice practice facility as well. Played tons of rounds here, almost never disappointed with the quality, especially the greens which are kept up very well for any course let alone a public course. A really good layout, clubhouse has good drink options and cocktails.
I love the course and facilities. Yesterday it rained for three hours and the fairways and greens were still firm. I have one issue that I'd like to see addressed. Twice this year I have booked tee-times on line at an advertised rate, and both times I was charged a higher rate when I arrived (8/8 advertised $62, charged $70, and 9/7 advertised $52, charged $62). I understand and appreciate the need to keep revenues in line with upkeep costs, but it would be nice to trust listed prices on your website.
Very nice course but quite expensive. The greens were pretty nicked up making it tough to putt on a lot of the greens. For $70+ a round I expect the carts to have GPS.
Country Club atmosphere. Course Rangers doing their job. Good food & drinks served by attentive waitresses. Golf course in excellent condition (especially during this current heat wave). I could not fault one (1) area throughout my 19 holes.
Awesome course. Quite pricey for a Buffalo course BUT. I've been in a league there for years and it never disappoints regarding the course maintenance!
Very beautiful but difficult course. The night we were there we were asked to keep our carts in the cart path because of previous rain. It made our time longer than what we wanted because of that.
Did not like the fact we told them we were not related and still let you share the cart. Starters and marshals talk to you without being six feet away.
Greens were very slow, ruff was very long everywhere, even around greens. Cart had covid sign that said six feet of separation but would only give us one cart. They gave group behind us 2 carts for 2 golfers. Would not let us make turn because of leagues. Play Seneca Niagara better course
Too many ball marks! C'mon people, fix those things. Im real happy for you that you hit the green, but take care of the course and it will love you back.
I love Harvest Hill. It's challenging, lush, and serene. A great layout keeps the mind occupied, making it an awesome distraction from difficult times. The greens are not to fast, not to slow, the type of greens I enjoy navigating. You won't be disappointed, a good test for every skill level!
Normally a nice course. Today it was absolutely soaked and they still managed to charge 52$ a person. I recommend checking the conditions before playing here as even fairways were puddles. Not worth it. Went to fox valley for 25$ and conditions were much better.
Super excellent fish fry! It was piping hot, very tasty, excellent cole slaw, and the Harvest fries are absolutely worth this $1 upcharge. The view is beautiful and the staff is always friendly.
Conditions were good tee to green, but the greens themselves were like a plinko board. I have never seen them that bad. This was also a 640am tee time.
A decent golf course, its in great shape and greens roll fast, slightly less break than you'd think whilst being so quick. Your first tee shot placement is important for this course. Greens hold extremely well.
