I go to Katie every month for a facial. She is literally the best. She listens to your concerns and also gives the best neck massage in thr middle of facials.

I had an exceptional hour massage at Levittown Hand and Stone with Nikki. She was attentive, comforting and thorough. I highly recommend her and will be back in the near future. The front staff was friendly and wonderful as well.

I got a gift card. I had a massage and a facial which in itself was pretty good but I was charged extra for the massage although it was never discussed with me prior. The representative refused to accept responsibility as to making an error and went ahead and took money from my bank account without my authorization.

For anyone looking for quality customer service and professionalism, do not seek it in Levittown (I recommend the Babylon location). Levittown denied my wife a scheduled facial after their employee misinformed her about their “corporate” gift card policies. After being promised a call from the owner I’ve yet to receive, an in person visit to rectify the situation was met with an offer to pay $80 instead of their being accountable for their own mistake and wasting our time and energy. As far as franchises go, this one falls under poor business practices. I would highly recommend spending the couple minutes extra to visit the Babylon location where they are accommodating and where I have never had an issue.

I went today for a 50 minute Himalayan salt stone massage. It was the worst massage I ever got and I’ve had many. The guy barely said hello to me. He didn’t even touch my arms, not once. I’ve never had a massage where they don’t even touch your arms once. Usually you start face down and then halfway through flip to face up to continue massage, never happened. He only massaged me face down. I told them on the intake form I like light and this guy applied so much pressure it literally hurt. My neck is so sore now I can’t even turn my left to right. I feel worse now than before my massage. The guy cut it short too. I had a 1: 00pm appointment. I arrived at 12: 50. He finally got me at 1: 10. I undressed and checked clock it was 1: 20 when he started and he ended at 1: 51. That isn’t 50 minutes. I also had a 10 minute cold stone face massage add on and he was still done at 1: 51. He didn’t care. Seemed bothered to be doing my massage. The front desk staff was friendly and nice but the massage was terrible. I won’t go to this location again, disappointing waste of $194 plus tip!

UPDATE: Got the auto reply to contact them via phone or email. No call back from manager and no response to my email. Avoid this location, others are better.

Horrible customer service and communication! I canceled my membership and had 2 reminding packages to use, I was never communicated I had 90 days to use them until I called to schedule an appointment and inquired about it. Never going back here!

If I could give 0 stars I would. This location is a poor representation of the Hand and Stone brand. My membership is with the Jericho branch, however, I went to the Levittown branch for a package transfer pamphlet. The reps were so unhelpful and snippy. They suggested that I drive all the way to Jericho instead of making a simple phone call to confirm that the credit transfer was done. I ended up calling the Jericho location, the rep there confirmed the transfer was done and that's when they provided me with the sheet. They would rather turn away a customer than do their job and offer customer service.

WATCH OUT. THE OWNER IS A LIER. BELOW HE SAID HE WILL TAKE CARE OF THE SITUATION BELOW AND HE NEVER DID.
HE LIED AND HE NEVER EVEN SPOKE TO ME HIMSELF. NEVER DID. I am. Extremely disappointed. I tested positive for covid and canceled my appointment on the same day as soon as I found out I had it and they still charged me as if I made it to the appointment. I asked for courtesy and was not given any, calling corporate to make them aware of the disgrace of this place. I was being responsible, I should've shown up and gotten my services and not said a word. Shame

I walked in the place is Nice I started looking at some of the products after I had checked in. I was waiting the guy Came out a couple minutes late brought me into the room. The massage was extremely mediocre there was almost no pressure applied to some spots but then hard pressure applied to others I had told him I had really bad neck problems and that was where most of my pain was when I turn around to get the neck massage it was like I said before extremely mediocre I have gotten better massages from the ladies at the nail salon. And they cut the Massage 10 minutes short when it’s supposed to be and what I paid for 60 minutes. I left feeling almost exactly how I felt when I went in. Don’t waste your money here.

I have been a member at the levittown location for 5 years and have always had the best experience. The front desk staff is always welcoming by name and seem to truly care about me. I am in heaven after my massage and can't wait for my next appointment!

Received a gift certificate for a facial at Hand & Stone in Levittown and was disappointed with the experience.

When you arrive, they hand you a questionnaire to complete however, the esthetician dosent review it before your called in. Instead, as soon as you walk into the room, your standing 2 feet away from the esthetician getting asked the same questions. That's not the relaxing experience you'd expect. In addition, there was a strange fan noise which didn't help set the ambiance needed to relax and enjoy a facial.

The steam machine was on but I only felt it on the right side of my face. I explained this to the esthetician who told me the steam would 'go up and around my face'. My left side felt nothing.

After my treatment, the esthetician told me I could get dressed and meet her outside. When I was done she was out there standing with a cup of water. She asked if I needed to use the restroom. I gave her a tip and she said thank you. It would have been nice to get some recommendations on products I should use, some feedback on my skin condition or at very least, try to up-sell some in-house products. What a missed opportunity!

I called to give this feedback and the manager explained that this was their standard practice. She said she'd speak to the esthetician 'about up-selling'. No wonder the experience was lousy.

I've had other facials before and have never experience this. For the price that was paid I would have expected much better.

If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. The manager at this location is anything but professional. Another location called up to help with a situation and she was rude to them. I’ve called corporate which I’ve never done before for any company, I have 11 packages and am willing to forfeit them due to the lack of professionalism I received and the way I was treated. A customer of 10 years leaving means nothing to them.

Since I notified them that I wished to cancel my membership the massages where cut short by 10 minutes, I could say this is a coincidence but this happened the last 3 times I was there. I am not a complainer but this made me upset when I am paying for a 50 minutes massage.

They cancelled my appointment because I didn’t answer the phone to confirm the appointment when i was working. I showed up for my massage and told me they have cancelled it because i didn’t confirm. I had the monthly membership with them. Also they never had availability so that’s also why I cancelled. Also, I pay for a 50 minute massage and they always cut you short by 10-15 minutes.

Echoing past reviews on the owner. I tried calling the past few days and no one has picked up the phone. Today I finally got in touch and the owner was incredibly rude. I have been to other hand and stones where the owners have been lovely. I had a gift card that expired 12/31/21 (by the way the date of expiration isn’t even on the gift card so it’s impossible to know when it expires). Because of COVID I wasn’t able to go before the holiday but had been trying to go immediately in January. My gift card literally just expired and the owner was not only unwilling to make an exception but was so mean and rude about it. I don’t live in the area so getting to this location is a challenge. I had spoken to my local hand and stone and they had assured me it shouldn’t be an issue considering the extenuating circumstances. Overall, I love hand and stone but I would not go back to this location.

UPDATE: Good to know the response I received was automated and after reaching out I learned that they do not in fact want to make it right. Just waste my time. Again - why would a recipient of a giftcard know when it was purchased. They should put the expiration date on the card.

Anyways - I would not go to this location. The owner is the worst.

Bought my mother a $100 gift card for her bday. I bought specifically for body massage. They refused to give her a body massage and told her that she can only get facial for $100. They gave her the most Medicore facial using cheap products that didn't even include 60 secs neck to shoulder massage.that you can get done from my shop for $50. Over priced! Do no waste your money on this place.

It's a great thing that you record phone calls because that will proof that I asked a massage for my mother and girl on the phone told me that $100 DOES NOT COVER BODY MASSAGE. I was left with no choice but to accept whatever you offered. Even though at the time I purchased the gift card for my mother I specifically said that "I NEED A GIFT CARD FOR A BODY MASSAGE". How do you blantly lie on your response? ! I wish I had recorded the phone call to expose fake professionalism.

Owner/Manager Paul was mean and nasty! To me all bec I asked to renew my membership!
I would not recomend the Levittown location!
Rumers has it! He does not treat his staff any better!
