Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa

The owner/ manager kept knocking the door to Rush employee with massage and facial when I paid 198 dollars for it. My girlfriend did not received a full hour massage and the facial was substandards, not top of the line as I paid for. They didn't even had the products for the facial. I willnot recommend it to anyone. Specially when I can pay less for much better service. With that been said it ruins a gift for my girlfriend not the experience I wanted her to have.

Got the introductory facial. It’s advertised as 1 hour facial. I was late so I loss 15 minutes, which as fine. However after 25 minutes, it was done. I feel I got my face washed with oils for 20 minutes. There was not additional services for My skin concerns. Definitely not work $85.00

Totally unprofessional my husband purchased a gift certificate online fora massage which we were unable to find the e-mail verifying it. So, now we are requesting a reissue of the certificate and Noone can help us.

Well to start, there are no separate changing rooms, no showers, no offer of water and all you get is a hot towel after a oil fill massage to wipe yourself. Secondly, the masseuse talked throughout the all process and gave a rundown on why I should use 8 pillows and each and everyone uses! Furthermore he wasted 30 minutes if my massage on my neck and share with my that my neck had a knot that felt like dreadlocks and went on to also explain what a dreadlock feels like! As if that wasn’t enough he than informed me that he had bad news (during what was suppose to be a relaxing massage! Who wants to hear this) that my skin was very very dry and I needed to use more moisturizer which I than had to explained that I just had come from vacation and my skin was dry due to sunburn. After spending 30 Minutes on my neck all I had left was
20 minutes for the rest of my body! Not what I expected. A spa NO, more like a nail salon massage without the bells and whistles. Really wanted to like this place but unfortunately did not feel or received the spa feeling and ambiance. The little time my masseuse spend on my back felt good if only he would have talked less and kept his opinion to himself.

My facial was so relaxing I fell asleep. Gloria was so kind and professional. She explained my skin type and suggested things I could do to improve it. I'm definitely going to schedule another appointment with her.

I’ve been coming to this spa for about a year and a half. Every time I visit I always have a great experience! Through times of COVID this spa has always made me feel comfortable. Its always clean, staff professional, and overall a very relaxing experience. The price is very affordable for a month to month spa membership and they have great specials around the holidays. I have been using La’Shawn since the start for monthly facials. She always offers great suggestions after asking my skin concerns. My skin always looks glowing after she’s done with me! Something else that shows she goes above and beyond is the shoulder massage as your mask is setting! I look forward to using my service each month as a member and will continue as a little treat to myself once a month.

Parking is a nightmare, packed.
The receptionist was rude.
The linens were stained and smelly.
Massage was quick and unpleasant.
Room is cold.
After all I was charged extra for some mysterious add-on.
This is not a spa - it`s stress.

Smaller Spa with no locker room or showers. No extra relaxation room. But for the smaller Spa feel they are very friendly. The rooms are tight, but if you're just laying on the table it's ok. I disliked that they charge for all smaller additions ($10 here and there for mini stones, scented oils, etc.). Brady is a very responsive massager who really listens. He knows his stuff well! Parking is in the parking garage, so that's a pain. After a nice long massage, I had to trek it in the rain and coldness, which undid my relaxation. They share the garage with the gym and mall, so it's rare to get a spot lower than the 4th floor. Overall for a budget friendly massage only, it's not bad.

I was treated to a spa day at Hand and Stone Ridge Hill for my birthday. By the end of my session, I decided to sign up for the monthly membership. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff was friendly and the hot stone massage was INCREDIBLE! I felt so relaxed and the aches in my shoulder and lower back are gone. I work from home now and sit for 8 hours, so this is going to be my monthly treat to myself. I highly recommend.

My masseuse, Brady talked way too much before the massage and throughout the entire massage so I could not relax. The massage was just ok, nothing to brag about.

I had a wonderful facial with Elena. She’s the BEST! The spa was peaceful and extremely clean. I highly recommend.

They do a good job with attending to problem areas. My husband was pleased with his scalp and back massage.

The reminders and confirmation of the appointment were appreciated. The location is calm and peaceful and my service with Dymo was outstanding!

I had a much needed hot stone massage from Brady. I felt comfortable and relaxed. So soothing. Definitely would do this at least once a month. It’s worth it!

Great services every time I visit. Always leave feeling relaxed and refreshed after every service. Sessions are booked up really fast but workers try their best to accommodate you and call with cancelations. Having a membership can be used at any location and being a home member has perks including "member of the day" with free service upgrades.

I have been coming to this Hand & Stone for years! They are like family to me at this point!
The service is always phenomenal and the staff there are always extremely accommodating and understanding of everyone's individual needs and situations Jessie and Jenny are always there when I needed a last minute service
Even through the pandemic I was able to keep my membership going so I had so many massages to use when they opened up again (definitely well needed after the year we've all had!)
If you're ever looking for an affordable and excellent massage or facial make this your first stop, 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Treated my mom to a hot stone massage for her birthday. It was her first massage and she LOVED it. She doesn't remember her masseur's name but he was black and according to her "very knowledgeable and professional" Highly recommend! We also purchased the buy one get one free special and I was able to use one of them out of state which was very convenient.

After attending this salon for years, my account was expired right before the pandemic due to an update needed on my credit card. Unaware I had been cancelled, I attended a salon today for 2 services (with to my knowledge, having about 8 to use). When it was time to check out, I was told my packages were not showing up and I was required to pay double the price after getting services I was owed. Assuming it was due to it being at a new location, I rejoined and assumed my owed packages would be added back once I called my home location in Yonkers.

After speaking with the manager, Jessie, at this location, who was sarcastic and not accommodating, I find out the company gave 90 days from the cancelled date to use several packages during a PANDEMIC. So because they decided to reopen and breathe in peoples faces while a dangerous virus was still a huge risk, they expected and required customers to come in and take a risk in order to use services they already paid for. I find this extremely unacceptable and unprofessional and will be canceling my membership with the new location. If this is the Hand and Stone policy, I don’t want any parts of it. I find it appealing to charge someone for services not provided and not allow a person to get the service when the ability to use them is hindered by a GLOBAL PANDEMIC.

Love the way they now stagger appointments and going the extra mile to allow for a safe and healthy experience.

Been here this month TWICE. I have had Gloria for the facial which I loved because she was very friendly and knowledgeable. As I am writing this, I just left from a massage with DEANNA. She was great. I felt very relaxed.

The point of this review. I got charged TWICE on the last day I went for the massage. Once while I was in the spa. Then again 20 minutes after. When I call DEYJAH was very unprofessional. She told me she forgot to charge me for the correct massage so she had to charge me twice. Really? ! You charge me twice without my permission.technically, the 2nd time was unauthorized! I wasn’t even in the spa! I’m beyond p*ssed! Then she tells me the manager JENNY which is in the next morning will deal with my situation.this is fraud! You don’t charge people when you feel & for whatever simply because you have access to my card info. I will definitely report this to headquarters. Oh & I will also cancel my “membership”!

I had a lovely experience at Hand & Stone - Ridge Hill. The Front Desk staff was welcoming, fun, and put me at great ease. My masseuse, Mick, was AMAZING. He tackled areas with the right amount of firmness. Mick was extremely professional and ensured I had a quality experience.

The experience was extremely and relaxing and surprisingly informative. I really enjoyed it.

I go for the facial. Gloria is amazing. She knows her job very well. I always listen to her recommendations, she is so professional and knowledgeable. I had a bad experience a couple of years ago I was very upset about it. Gloria is the only reason I went back to this location.

My first experience at Hand & Stone was amazing. I received a facial from Jorgette. She made sure I felt comfortable and was very knowledgeable about my skin. She did a very thorough job. I’m someone who suffers from a lot of black heads. I told Jorgette this prior to getting my facial and she assured me it’s just a build up of oil. That really eased my mind because that’s something I was embarrassed about. She explained I had oily skin and what I needed to improve my skin. I can’t wait to come back and have Jorgette gave me another facial.

I had a great experience my first time at Hand & Stone! I received a massage from Brady and I was very hesitant to get a massage from a male but he was extremely comforting and professional. The front staff were very nice and welcoming. I am big on energy and I love the vibe there! I will be back.

They are open and back stronger than ever. They have two new upgrades for massages, cupping and percussion machine. They also have a built in mask for massages in the table. The girls at the front desk are the friendliest!

Highly, highly recommend seeing Joe if you need a deep tissue massage! Neck and shoulder pain has been a huge issue for me for the last several months and I walked out of the session feeling like a completely new man. Joe was extremely meticulous in finding all the knots and made sure they were all taken care of. 100% going back to see him regularly.

Had a bad experience with Julie at the Yonkers location. I'm guessing she had a bad day or whatever but she was very unprofessional. Her conversation had a sexual overtone which made me very uncomfortable. She was also heavy handed. Her technique left very much to be desired.

Place is kept very clean is very comfortable atmosphere nice & relaxing music. Staff is friendly, attentive & Chris was very good performed a great massage.

I have been coming here for over a year and Jason is a true profesional and very in tune with clients needs and his craft. The staff at this location are very friendly and inviting.

This is my third service with hand and stone and although I wasn’t a fan of their facial results I absolutely recommend the massages. This is my second one and by far the best one! At first I was a little hesitate to get a massage by a male but boy am I glad I did. My first massage therapist was good but my second one was exceptional! I believe his name was kerwin his hands were God sent and you definitely won’t be disappointed, book him! My massage was just AMAZING! Can’t wait for my next session I couldn’t stop telling all my coworkers about it everyone deserves a massage by his hands!

I had a great relaxing and plesant experience with Julie! She made me feel very comfortable and made sure that she met all of my needs and took in to consideration all of my concerns.

This place does fraud through memberships be careful.and the only time I got a message here was 2 years ago which didn't give me any desire to return. The guy who performed the message was sweeting on top of me and making loud voices and it wasn't relaxing at all.there are a lot of good places you can go. So why do this to yourself-food for thought
