0 stars Predatory. Charged my 75 year old senior citizen mom $75 for a haircut. Displayed price $35-50. Shame on this salon.

Ask the price before you decide to do your haircut. Price doesn’t match on the display, and they overcharged. Bad experience.

Huge disappointment. All these stylists just want you to pick the more expensive option for perms. They don’t care about how you look at all. I haven’t had such a terrible haircut in years.

I always asked Japanese stylist Mr Ricky to cut hair for me and my daughters. We always sastisfied by his design and his technique. We don't want to take risk to change hair into different styles so his style suits for us, normal, clean, simple beauty

I had one of the best color and wash experiences I’ve ever had at Hair Mode. Sherman is excellent with choosing the right highlights and hair color that lasts for his clients. Amy is meticulous in applying hair color and her wash was exceptionally thorough which flushed out much of the color residue from my sensitive scalp after coloring. Thank you for the giving me top quality care.

Asked for bleaching from black to blonde, guaranteed that they can finish it one day, made me come back the next day to finish up. I understand it is a long process but please don’t tell your clients you are able to do something that you are not capable of. The bleach they used was HARSH and when i told them i was in pain with the bleach on my scalp, they totally ignored it. I came back home with BLOODY scalp and scabs.pain and scalp flakes lasted over 2 weeks to a month. Never coming back. The stylist was very rude and not polite.

Today, I took my son to HairMode for a haircut, they charged me $50 for just shaving his head, which I found to be absurd. Will not return to HairMode again.

So impressed and satisfied with Hairmode Great Neck. My hairstylist Michael is very patient, experienced and skillful. He gave my hairs amazing curl! Other hairstylists who washed and dried my hair are very friendly too! Modern stylish atmosphere, high quality services and good price! Highly recommend!

The first time I came here for a haircut, the environment is very clean. There are not too many people working, which is a good thing for me. I prefer places with less people. The stylist who cut my hair was very dedicated and meticulously finished my hairstyle. It is recommended that friends who live nearby can experience hair stylist Dexter

Very frustrating experience, I asked the stylist not to cut my hair too short, and, of course, the stylist cut my hair too short. What was more disappointing was that this stylist provided no satisfying solution.

Honestly I was there today. The guy didn’t know how to do hair. I didn’t wanna say anything make him feel bad. My hair was even messier and burned after and I had to pay 45$. I could have done something to my hair at home would be better for sure!

I wanted to refrain from writing a review, but its been over a week and I am still very very disappointed with my experience. I went in to get some face framing highlights (money pieces). I have attached pictures of the before and after. The stylist parted the hair well and advised that since my hair was so dark and virgin (I have been growing it out for THREE YEARS) he would have to bleach it three times. I have had all of my hair entirely platinum blonde before and maintained that for a year so this sounded right to me, considering my past experience with bleach. Here, however, all of the stylists switch around on other clients, while one is washing another will go blowdry, etc. Somehow or the other, while my hair was in the foils with the bleach, and my eyes are covered by the way the foil was placed, and the fumes were making me doze off, the stylist must have forgotten about me - I am used to the stylist checking in a few times to ensure no harm, but due to his neglect, my hair literally BURNED OFF. It looks fine when it's down, but aside from the front two pieces, almost everything on the right side burned off. He had to give me an undercut I did not want, which, quite frankly, is very unprofessional for the legal field, and I still had to come home and have my brother cut off the remaining hair at the bottom. Now I am left with uneven blotchy blonde pieces and a half shaved head, because he obviously could not keep bleaching it to make it even after that debacle. I cannot wear my hair up without using an obscene amount of gel because it sticks out in spikes on both the right and left side and looks horrendous. I took a chance on this salon because I thought such an easy task could not be messed up - it was just parting out the whole crown, bleaching and toning, but BOY WAS I WRONG. If you come here please make sure you set a timer and pay attention to how long bleach is left in your hair because the stylists WILL NOT. They are too busy working on other clients.

Facial BDR treatment by Vicky. It was incredible. She is very professional and well experienced. Each session was tailored to my skin's need. I noticed a significant improvement on my face. I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in getting a facial treatment.

So I didn’t know what to expect because this was my first time there and also getting bangs. Let me tell you I found my official hairdresser. Dexter did such an amazing job everyone loves my new hair and he is super kind, sweet and is a true perfectionist with hair. 10/10 coming back and only going to him.

My little brother is 12 and has down syndrome. I took him here for a hair cut. They took their time with it. The staff was super nice. My car was far and I paid and asked them to call me when he is done so I can come with the car so he wont have to walk all the way there. The cut was also very nice.

Randomly sauntered in here twice for a wash and blow. Dexter and Michael did great work and I was really pleased. Jun washed my hair both times and it was really good. The environment is clean and the staff very personable. Totally recommend that you stop in for a service next time you're in the area!

I went into this hair salon looking for a mid fade. I got exactly what I wanted. The employees really value quality haircuts and take time cutting and styling customers hair. I was thoroughly impressed with not only how they trimmed my neck, but also was very happy with the service. Everybody working at this establishment has a smile on their face, and is willing to go above and beyond to make their customers happy. I am very impressed by their service and quality haircut.

It was my first time visiting HAIRMODE and I will definitely be coming back! The staff were very nice in welcoming me when I first arrived and making sure I was comfortable the entire time. I got blond highlights and I absolutely love how it turned out. I was scared I wouldn’t like them, but I ended up loving them!

I have never had such a bad experience with a hair salon. I had a feeling I am not welcome. They where five people in the shop when I get in at my appointment. The owner had a customer and they were talking so loud and constant for all 45 minutes I was there. Non of these people said even Hi. A young man ask me: what do you want? I explain and he began to cut my hair. He did a very average job, without any reaction in his face.
Overall I had a very uncomfortable feeling that I am not belong there. I never come back to this place again. And I wish nobody have ever experience what I did.

Always a great experience. For me, the main highlight of the salon is their professionalism. Everyone speaks politely and they're always paying attention when i was telling them what I wanted. No one’s ever cutting corners and I can tell that from personal experience because I am very picky about my haircut. I know how annoying that can be but the way the staff at Hairmode handles my requests definitely deserves kudos.

It isn’t just about the haircut at Hairmode, it’s the whole experience of being treated like a queen. They were always gentle with my hair and would always make conversation to put my mind at ease.

Lastly, I want to talk about the prices. Despite Hairmode hair salon employing incredibly talented people, they're very reasonably priced. I am definitely going back every time I need my hair done and recommend this place to anyone who wants an expertly done haircut at a reasonable price. Its certainly one of the better Salon's I've visited in Great Neck

Great neck is a great hair salon with friendly staff and lots of options. I wanted a cut and color but was super nervous. The staff made me feel so comfortable and give me options suitable to my needs. Very nice salon!

Sit there for 5 minutes and nobody greeting me. Then another customer come in and he was welcomed when he step in. They think they can just ignore some people and pick who they want to serve?

They increased the price and now asking for a “minimum” of 20% tips. You will not allowed to leave until you leave a satisfying tips. Put a sign in your store so people are aware of your new tipping requirement.

My hair looks awful.
The hair is so dry, not smooth at all as promised. I was charged more money, claiming my hair was long.
I complained to customer service it should not be like this, if you come across such a service do not pay.
The one who did my hair was with a mask but kept coughing on me. I felt uncomfortable and just wanted to end this nightmare.
