Ive been doing pilates and gyrotonic/gyrokenisis for about 10yrs now; through both pregnancies/post partum. Its been an incredible release for me physically and mentally. Combining this with strength training gave me a great balance.

Siobhan is a unique instructor, educated, communicates very well and connects to my personal needs. She asks questions, wants to know where Im at during each session, and even challenges me. This has been something Ive always been able to fall back on during each phase of my life, to keep me moving and centered.

I have been learning Gyrotonics from Siobhan for almost a decade now. During that time I have always been impressed by her ability to grasp intuitively any issues going on with my body and apply specific exercises to address them. Each weekly session has brought instantaneous relief and freedom of movement that leaves me feeling stronger, more flexible, and internally balanced. Her one-on-one instruction is excellent: she makes it easy to learn new (and sometimes challenging) choreography, and she always has an attentive eye on my technique, such that I am constantly improving and getting even more out of more routine movements. Perhaps most impressive is Siobhan's commitment to professional development: she regularly attends workshops and trainings with the top practitioners in the world to learn new techniques and skills, which she then brings back to our sessions. We are lucky to have such a first-class pilates and gyrotonics/gyrokinesis instructor right here in the Hudson Valley.
