Great Clips

I didn't go to Great Clips but I'm sure they're great at clipping because of the name. Just makes sense. I was near Great Clips and I could see them clipping through the windows. Looked like skillful stylists to me. I wish I could go to Great Clips but I'm old, not much hair left these days. So I just buzz it myself at home. Being unable to patronize a great clipping joint, however, doesn't mean I can't give them 5 stars based on what I saw from nearby. Plus, it's funny.

I found a coupon and I noticed that my hair was getting long and over my ears. I checked in with mo problem and arrived with a ten minute wait. I was taken next in less than five. Meghan was pleasant and accommodating. Good cut even though I went with a number three cut. Short it is.

I love my haircut. Dunya always cuts my hair the way I like it. She is very skilled and friendly. Great job!

Took my grandson for a haircut she did a pretty good job but wasn't really personable

Went in with my boyfriend who convinced me to try a new style and we got Bianca. I can't see well without my glasses on so we asked if he could supervise, and she was super accommodating. Loved the haircut.

Great place to get a haircut. Staff is always very friendly. Love the on line check in no waiting. Senior and military discount a plus.

Fast service. All the hairdressers are very good at their craft. Reasonably priced and occasionally you can pick up discount coupons in the papers. Clean area & friendly employees

Got my haircut today by Alyssa she was patient and made me feel very comfortable. She listened to me and I got the style I wanted.

Normally I get a good hair cut here. Today I got a hack job. Not happy with the cut Lucky hair grows out fast and I own clippers. Will not let that hair dresser touch my head again. As read a couple other reviews I got the same one others are complaining about.uneven hair got a divit in the side of my head now.

I have been coming to this location since I moved to New York, about 3 years now, but the last experience I had at this location was very unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable. I enjoyed coming to this location due to the friendliness of the staff, skill level of the staff, cleanliness and professionalism, my recent experience has made me question each of those qualities. About 3 months ago, I went to this location for a routine trim but had a very uncomfortable experience. My hairdresser that day was an older gentleman, during my haircut, when he needed my head to be tilted down he shoved my head down very forcefully and made me feel very very very uncomfortable. He proceeded to do this to my head anytime he needed to move it. This experience has made me terminate my relationship with great clips, I’m going to have to look into super cuts to avoid this man. If I go back to this location with others I will get his name so people will know not to get this man.

For me HAIR is really important. Is related directly with a mood, self confidence, self-esteem is not only a physical aspect. Go to get a haircut is therapeutic, I went almost every two weeks, and Thanks to Dunya, she makes possible to understand my hair and let me looks on the way that I ask for, and she have a A+ in Customer Service. We enjoy to go to Great clips, my wife my daughters, and my granddaughter, easy way to book your appointment online, always super clean, good atmosphere, I love the Hair salon style design. But again is a good Team.

I've been getting my hair cut by Alyssa for years and she always does an Amazing job! I'm always greeted by her and the other ladies when I come in. They make me feel like I'm part of the team. You can tell they all work really hard and quick to keep their customers happy. Keep doing what you're doing Ladies

I always receive excellent service from Alyssa. I get a cut, trim and hair wash. She makes me feel comfortable, relaxed and always with a smile!

Dunya is a wonderful hairstylist. She has a lot of experience and she takes her time and she wants her client to be satisfied. She also has a great personality.

I am regular to this branch. I usually have my hair done by Suheila. She is great. Today (05/04/23) there was a long queue and the person before me was also waiting for Suheila, so I decided to give a try with a newcomer named Sumayyah. All I can say is she is not well trained yet. She can't operate scissor properly (most of the time she had to try twice or thrice for a cut). My hair is uneven left-right-center. I don't blame her, I am sure she'll get better with time. But the branch manager should have let her spend more time on training before letting her attend a customer.

I finally decided it was time to cut all the back off, 7 inches, I don't know the girls name, was never told, she asked what I wanted, told her, it was a very uncomfortable situation no words were spoken, just felt very uncomfortable, she did a nice job, left with wet hair which I hate especially seeing I had just gotten out of the hospital days before.
Idk maybe it's me but I like when your stylist discusses things while they cut your hair.

This location on Sheridan is the best. Great staff unlike the bad staff of thenone on the Boulevard.
